    Our stay was extremely pleasant, the staff were so friendly and obliging, the food in the restaurant was like something off master chef and tasted amazing,will definitely return again as we adore the area and have visited many times.

    Got a pleasant surprise with the food that excelled all expectations. The pork belly was a tasty treat. The homemade ice cream made my day. I would rate the ambience 9/10. Would recommend to friends and family alike.

    On the way back from Glasgow, we stopped for lunch and enjoyed everything about the Clachan. Warm log fires, lovely friendly welcome, great menu, great value and delicious food. Definitely will be returning and recommending.

    Stopped in to refuel on our way to Kirkcudbright. Great food, very well priced with great service. They even fired up the log fire at our request (sorry about the photo...) Will be planning future routes that go past here.More
