Excellent food and lovely, friendly service. The Chocolate and Coffee Delice was A-MA-ZING! !..... Nice welcoming pub atmosphere if you're not eating but why not eat there too? It's also CAMRA pub of the year 2016 so you know the beer is going to be excellent too. 10/10

Had dinner on two evenings. Staying in Carsphairn (Kirkholm B&B - not recommended). Nice choice of food, well cooked and friendly, helpful staff. Good portions. A step above the average pub food. Recommended.

Lovely wee hotel. Comfy, relaxed and quiet. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We got the front door key for when we came back after the pub had closed. We didn't have to check out by a specific time (which was definitely a bonus after the wedding reception we'd been at). Didn't eat here other than at breakfast,... More

This place was a gem of a find when we had nothing else to do and found it served us well. We didn't eat there but the staff were very helpful and bought drinks out to us. They answered our question about the village and we're happy to tell us more. The inside of the pub is very traditional and... More

The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant had a wonderful menu. Ate there both nights of our stay and everything exceeded expectation especially the venison steaks. Breakfast was served at the time of our choice. Laura was extremely friendly and helpful giving us suggestions for walks. She could not have been a better host

We came to the clachan inn for dinner, which was delicious. While on holiday it was our 3rd visit, which says something about the food and service. If you are anywhere near the area it is a must do place to visit! With such a variety and unusual menu, there is something for everyone! The fish and chips, venison sausages... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way north to the Isle of Mull. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Freshly cooked tasty breakfasts and excellent evening meals. Would definitely stay here again. There is lots to do in the area including seeing Ospreys.

Just spent last night 5th/6th July at this Inn. Really friendly. Fantastic dinner with superb menu and great service. Room was very comfortable. The crowning glory has to be the full Scottish Breakfast which was truly wonderful and served with a smile to warm any day rain or shine. Many thanks to the whole staff for making our stay wonderful.
