We stayed at Broomhall Castle for one night; there was a storm locally, so we didn't explore the area, but it's well placed for Stirling. Broomhall Castle is an impressive old building and our room was a good size. The bedroom was traditional in design and comfortable, the bathroom was more modern, well-equipped and very clean. We had dinner in... More

Lovely Castle! We felt like a King and Queen, the room was so large. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was fabulous. The floorboards did creak but we did not mind as it added to the character of the room. Would certainly stay there again.

Lovely room (despite the creaky floorboards 😄 ) and great food as usual. My only criticism is my usual one for almost every single hotel...............A suitable mirror NEXT to a plug socket so us ladies can do their hair and make up close up please?!? I had to try and do my hair almost 10 ft from a mirror, not... More

We stayed at the castle whilst in Stirling on business. From the minute we stepped through the door we were made welcome and nothing was too much bother! The staff made us feel at home and even offered to carry our bags up to our room!! The room was superb and very clean. The bathroom was fantastic with an enormous... More

Broomhall is a very attractive building from the outside, and located not too far from Stirling. The rooms are large and spacious, but I think a little work is needed to bring it up to "a royal standard". The floorboards were very creaky, and the door locked with an old keyed lock. Staff looked to be in short supply, the... More

Thank you for leaving your comments!! I am unsure what you mean by royal standard and we do not advertise as having a lift and only advertise to have wifi in the public areas so unsure why you find this relevant and as for the tired look.................. More

An older building which has been kept in character and so some may think the place looks tired, but we liked it. The rooms are MASSIVE, with nice bathrooms and seating areas. The beds were comfortable and we slept well (very little noise from outside although a few creaky floorboards (to be expected with a building of this age). It... More

The castle is located in a scenic location and easy to travel to in a car. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay. The room was very large with our own viewing point in the turret and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The bar area was comfortable and seating was homely. The food in the... More

This castle/hotel sits at the foot of the Glenochil hills overlooking the stunning surroundings of Stirlingshire. Robert the Bruce would have taken great pride in owning such a beautifully positioned building but sadly, this place is not fit for a king. I can only describe this in one word "misleading". If the castle ghosts have not warned you to keep... More

Well your review can not be further from the truth so here goes with our response. Firstly the surroundings are of Clackmannanshire and not Stirlingshire so wrong county to start with and Robert the Bruce was not in this county either and if he had taken pride in owning this building he would have been nearly 700 years old so...
