I cannot praise this property enough. We only stayed one night after a three week touring holiday in Scotland. We should have stayed longer. The welcome was warm and genuine, the accommodation was superb and the breakfast was first class.

Stayed at this superb BnB for one night with our little dog. On arrival we were offered tea and shortbread, a lovely surprise after our journey. Our room was spacious and comfortable, even a chocolate on our pillow! Next to our room was a lounge with large Tv for our use if we were staying in. A nighttime tipple was... More

We had a lovely night at Lornebank. The warm welcome on arrival was followed by tea, cake and shortbread. Our en suite room was lovely with huge and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. All this is combined with a great location in the centre of Lauder. Highly recommended.

We arrived in Lauder having driven through snowy countryside. A very warm welcome greeted us and we were soon settled in with an offer of tea and scones. Our landlady soon arrived with a split of bubbly-it was Valentines Day- and we settled down with that. Soon it was time for our dinner (see review of Firebrick) and on our... More

We stayed on New Years Eve, a Christmas present from my daughter and son so we didn't have to drive home after the Ceilidh at Carfraemill. What a beautiful place to stay. The room had everything we needed and more. So very comfortable, a huge bed, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. We were made very welcome by... More

Comfortable upstairs lounge for guests with whiskey and port available to help yourself to before bed. Lots of choice for breakfast, including fresh fruit salad and cold meats and cheeses and little extras. Ideally placed... More

Had a lovely stay at Lornebank. Were made to feel very welcome. We had a dog, and he was made welcome too. The room was lovely and the breakfast was yummy. The house was very central to where we needed to be. The village of Lauder is very friendly. We felt very comfortable there. We would most definitely recommend.
