This facility is part of a much larger resort with many options for hotels that have to be better than Bayside. The building for check-in was modern and appeared clean. Our journey through the maze of roads to our hotel room was confusing, but after a couple of days we learned how to get around in this large resort. The... More

room was ok, very confusing in terms of finding it within this huge resort and the staff were not terribly helpful - - things should be clearer in terms of directions - the gate personnel sent me to the WRONG part of the resort in spite of my showing them my reservation. The Bayfront room was clearly old, could use... More

This hotel definitely needs renovations. Our room was ok but bathtub drain barely worked and stains on carpet. They don't do maid service which was unbelievable. Great resort overall- especially if u stay somewhere else in resort- but they are definitely cheap. Could have better pools and updates. The village is fun but definitely overpriced. The beach is very nice... More

The room was dirty and we had to call maintenance to fix the shower because it would not drain and the ceiling was molded and the paint was peeling off the wall. We called for house keeping on our 2nd day three times and no one came to clean the room. After the third call we were told we only... More

This was a special trip I was taking with my grandson. This resort and Hotwire did not make it as special as I planned. I specifically requested a beachfront room. I really wanted my grandson to experience the oceanfront sounds and views. The First Lady at the checkin desk, tried to get me closer to the beach and changed my... More

We were booked here for a conference (so the room was free). Be advised you check in at the Visitors Center, not at the actual Bayside Hotel. The guard at the gate abruptly and rudely told us this info without a hint of a smile or welcome.( I think if your job makes you miserable find another one!) The check-in... More

Me and my spouse stayed here for the first time this past weekend and this was our first time we have stayed at this establishment. There was one pro and many cons to this room. One pro was the view. We stayed in a room overlooking the bay and it was a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the balcony was very small... More

We stayed here for a conference (I went to the conference; husband came for the vacation). The room smelled musty and wet, which I guess can be somewhat expected at a beach/bay side hotel. The room was clean, which is my #1 priority. The bathroom was a bit outdated and grout lines were a bit moldy in spots. The vent... More

The room smelled, dimly lit, awful beds, bathroom disgusting. I was actually horrified when I walked in. We had a fabulous view of the parking lot. The room looked nothing like the pictures when it was booked. I cannot begin to describe the smell but it was rancid covered up with air freshener. The beds were springs and concrete. We... More

We stayed here for a conference. While the view from the room is incredible, the stay was not. We stayed in Room 6188. Big mistake. When i opened the door, I was hit with a combination of dog and cigarette smoke smell. The room is on the ground floor which is not bad it itself. People walk past your room... More
