Glendaruel is perfectly placed to explore the Cowal Peninsula, Isle of Bute and Loch Fyne. We spent a week on this campsite with our 3-year-old and found this a very good place to have our first family camping trip. Toilets and Showers were clean. We were welcomed in a warm and friendly way the shop has a lot on offer... More

Great site. Super quiet, the pitch was on soft grass with great drainage, so after heavy rain, the ground was drying up quickly. Adequately soft for comfort, not mushy. Tiolets and showers , modern and clean. Obviously respected by all users, good to see. We would return again!!

This is an excellent, tranquil site in a very peaceful location. Made very welcome by the hard working owner, Annie. We were advised of lovely walks which we really enjoyed.site is very well kept and although it was busy it was very peaceful and relaxing. We shall return.

Our maiden camping trip nd we couldn't have picked a better camp site. Glendaruel is a small site that is great, we were afforded a lovely warm welcome and as the camping part was empty left to pick our pitch. The site is divided into 3 parts, camping, tourers and statics and is set in a lovely location with a... More

On arrival, met by Annie who came to show us our caravan pitch. Despite being obviously very busy, took time to answer any questions. All the amenties clean and tidy. All in all a great wee site, hopefully we will return again.

Fourth year at this excellent campsite. Last two we camped and it rained. This year we rented the lodge and it was glorious. Don't miss the secret beach, the George at Inverary, Portavadi, the barn cafe and the red squirrels, not to mention the loch fyne kippers, superb.

I stayed here for a week late August. My Children loved exploring the hills and surrounding areas. We took our own play things like cricket, football etc. The caravan was very clean and there were no issues that worried me. The oven, cup boards, fridge etc. were all new. The owner Annie is a very nice lady who did her... More

Lovely campsite, with lots of mature trees, and views out to the surrounding hills. Lady in charge was very welcoming and friendly. The campsite was very quiet and peaceful. The amenities block could have been kept cleaner, in that there were dead insects on the walls of the toilet/washroom, and the dishwashing area was a bit grubby, but hey it's... More

We were very impressed with the friendliness of the lady managing the camp site. She was very helpful with locating our three tents in a very nice field. We had13 people in our group and stayed for just one night. The location was beautiful and the camp site was very tidy and well maintained compared to others we have stayed... More
