We visited last weekend after purchasing a 5pm voucher. We have visited a few times previously. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The dinner in the bar was lovely as was the breakfast. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. It's definitely worth a visit, we will make a return visit again soon.

This is a very quaint hotel with an excellent choice of food and fantastic quality, very resonable prices and the owner Patricia is lovely, it was quiet the night my friend and I stayed however we were made very welcome by Patricia and Heather and nothing was too much trouble. They have live music some nights just keep your eye... More

Very friendly accommodating staff. Cosy restaurant with log burner. The food was delicious especially Patricia's homemade beef and Guiness Pie. Dog friendly with lovely views from restaurant window across the Loch.

We took the risk of going off the grid with three teenagers, no iPads, no phones, no leaisure centres or theme parks. Just long lies, lazy days, books, jigsaws, board games, walks, conversation and great food. Who knew, our teenagers can actually get along and hold a conversation. We stayed in the Eilean Dhu self-catering house, next to the hotel,... More

Just spent a night here with my parents for their anniversary. We arrived and were given a bottle of Proseco each - nice start. We were in Rooms 1 & 4 which were very cosy but we had a look at 2 & 3 and they both had stunning sea views. Had our dinner & breakfast - the food was... More

This is a great pub/hotel in Colintraive, right next to the Bute ferry. Just back from our second holiday in Colintraive and ate at the pub a number of times. Patricia and her staff are so welcoming and the food and ambience a delight. Apart from spending most of my holiday ill in bed, a great time was had by... More

We stayed in Colintraive recently and visited the hotel for lunch and dinner at different points through the week. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and they had a great wee kids menu but stretching to do a cheesey pasta not on menu for one of my particularly fussy sons wasn't a problem It's a... More

We stayed here on the second night of a small group 10 day tour of Scotland (September 21, 2016). The night before we stayed in a large hotel on Grassmarket Square in Edinburgh where there was a sound of revelers until the wee hours of the morning. Here there were only the sounds of sheep. The Colintraive hotel is quite... More

This is a small hotel with restaurant and bar included. It is located in a super place near the Bute ferry. The views and tranquillity are wonderful. The hotel is run by the owner and has a great personal touch. The food was excellent and the service very attentive and prompt. We had room 3 which overlooks the Loch and... More

This is an excellent hotel and the room we had was well appointed and had one of the most fantastic views I have ever seen. The room we had was comfortable as was the bed combined with the quietness you certainly get a great nights sleep! One small gripe why no Hair dryer in the room? That said it is... More
