We went camping up at Loch Brandy but one of our party couldn't hack it so he payed for us to stay a night in the bunk house. We had originally booked to stay our last night so we could get showered and sort out our camping gear before we went home but ended up in there for 2 nights.... More

Stayed at the Glen Clova Hotel for the first time in early June, after many years of passing. Arrived on Friday evening, quickly checked into room before a delicious meal in the restaurant. An added bonus was the live music in the snug climbers bar. The bedroom was small but as with the rest of the hotel was in perfect... More

a friend booked us into the bunk house and to say I was shocked at what was offered was an understatement, basic it is but thats not really the hotels fault, it was the person who booked its fault for not asking what they classed as basic, so promptly went and booked a room in the hotel, but was not... From the moment you enter, the friendliness is the first thing you notice. The staff can't do enough for you or be more helpful, haven't seen that level of attention in a long time. The decor is fantastic, you notice something quirky everywhere you look. It seemed to be updated in many areas and those were luxurious and comfortable. We... More

Stayed the night before walking up Mayar and Driesh - all staff were friendly and welcoming, and out room was very clean and comfortable. Had food and drinks in the restaurant too - was delicious and reasonably priced! Only negative was there was no wifi, but going without the internet for a day or two does no harm! Would recommend... First guests to stay in new room. You could smell the fresh paint. Obviously it wasn't quite finished as it looked like more furniture was to go in but we didn't care. It was huge with the comfiest of beds and a massive ensuite with a two end bath where you can admire the views. Careful you don't give anyone... More

Stopped for lunch after a walk in Glen Doll. Welcomed like family and had a very tasty lunch. Sweets were to die for!!! Can recommend the steak pie and the salmon. The Walker's Bar is full of old paraphernalia well worth a look. Will return when next in Scotland.
