This Really is the best Sunday lunch around, the meat is always cooked beautifully and plenty of it! Loads of choice of veg, crispy roasties and mash to die for! Service always spot on too, and set in such a beautiful spot, the views are amazing ☺️

We dined here last night, a treat before coming home. We stayed in site at the bottom of the lane in a log cabin. We did not stay at the pub's lodgings. We ordered the lamb burger which was soooo tasty. My husband ordered the salmon which although he really enjoyed he said the hollandaise sauce had split a little... More

The quality of service at the inn was excellent, even in busy periods. We found the staff very attentive and would bend over backwards to help. The food was very good, as we ate there most nights and tried most things on the bar menu, i honestly couldn't fault it at all. The prices are very reasonable given that it... More

Group of us visited last week, food very poor - fish pie ?? More like fish soup, runny and overpriced. We were all pretty hungry by the time it all arrived via poor and slow service. The pub was pretty busy and the staff fairly scarce. Overpriced and could be so much better given location and what is, on the... More

Given that there is literally no alternative for miles the Rhiw Goch is well worth a visit. We ate there on three consecutive evenings and were more that satisfied with our meals from a typical pub grub menu which were of good quality and proportion. What was noticeable were a number of weekender hooray henry type customers who were loud... More

Brilliant restaurant. Fantastic food. And for the person who said that the spagetti bolognase is £12 or so, it's actually £9.50 and it's a very big portion. The bar staff never swear and never give free drinks to people. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I used the restaurant of this inn whilst staying in the nearby holiday village. Considering this village (and the inn) are very isolated it was very good to have such a facility nearby. We had a pleasant meal and have nothing to complain about considering the remote location.

We ordered 1 lamb shank, 1 lasagne, 2 surf and turf with Stilton & a Stilton sauce. Total price £65 not includeing drinks. Charged extra for Stilton sauce which should of been part of the meal, spotted the error and returned to the bar to be assured we hadn't paid extra. Then told they only had enough for Stilton sauce... More

We have stayed in the log cabins for 6 years now and frequently visit the pub... On our last 2 visits the Staff feel it's ok to "Swear" whilst working behind the bar even though it's a "Family Friendly" pub!!! One member of staff gave his "Friends" FREE drinks and thought it was hilarious to fart really loud whilst my... More

possibly the worst meal out I have ever had the misfortune to order. "Chargrilled" gammon (a bargain at nearly £14 !!!!!!) had been deep fried!!!!! It was truly disgusting. Cheap produce badly cooked. Avoid!!! A shame as the service is very good and the staff very pleasant.
