I'd wanted to stay here before but couldn't get in and ended up somewhere mediocre. No wonder, the Stackpole Inn offers lovely accommodation, beautifully presented, and the owner couldn't do enough for us. Dog-friendly in the bar.

Restaurant and food was good but not great. Rooms in separate and recently converted building were really well appointed and very comfortable. However, there are no landline phones in rooms and there is little or no mobile coverage in the area. Thus no commication from rooms is possible. So in an emergency, fire or medical, things would be very difficult.... More

My Wife and I recently stayed at a nearby holiday cottage (with dog) for the week. We visited the Stackpole Inn most evenings and the food was outstanding. The Sunday roast beef was melt in your mouth, the steak was gorgeous and fish and chips on Friday was one of the best ever. The owners and staff were very friendly... More

Really enjoyed our midweek stay at this tranquil location close to the Stackpole Estate. Lovely staff led by a perfect host, very good food in the restaurant, beautifully cooked breakfast. Four spacious and near identical well appointed rooms are in a separate building next to the restaurant ( wifi in the rooms would be advantageous ). Great location for country... More

What a wonderful place to stay! Friendly staff lovely room & food. Made to feel really welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place for leisure or business as a lone female business traveller I was completely comfortable with no worries. I hope to return soon. Note no mobile signal but staff happy to let you... More

Sometimes we overlook what is just under our noses, and the Stackpole Inn is a case in point. Situated in a rural location, and well off the beaten track, this inn offers the opportunity to explore this lovely part of lower Pembrokeshire. We booked a 2 nights stay (2 for 1 at this time of the year) at the last... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with a very comfortable room - we slept better than we do at home! Lovely big room with a gorgeous en-suite. We met Rebecca the owner who was very friendly, helpful and really efficient, as were all the other staff - excellent! We also had a wonderful meal there in the evening of our... More

Great value for the winter specials, local fish fillet, home made chips, good service, friendly staff, clean loos, dog friendly. Hard to believe the giant pumpkins outside are real, (but I poked one and it was).

I've been here before and the Sunday lunch was great. However, when we went again today, the restaurant was packed. It took ages for our food to arrive, and in. The meantime the table next to us were complaining about their food, so the writing was on the wall. When our food arrived, we were all underwhelmed. The roast potatoes... More

This pub has everything! A wonderful warm welcome, ALL the staff are professional, engaging, happy and above all efficient - what an awesome team you are! Thank you for making us feel so welcome particularly to watch the Welsh play in the RWC quarter final, 'what a game', the day before and on the Sunday, all the staff were brilliant... More
