We had lunch for my 2yr old g/sons birthday, the set lunch had a good selection, for adults as well as the junior members who were with us. Although the food was delicious as always, it was to salty for my taste, this is my second visit and I found the food salty the last time. A little less salt...

Having been to the Celtic manor, my wife and I went for a Sunday afternoon drive and went to the newbridge on use. We weren't disappointed. From the moment we entered it felt warm and relaxed. The live music was excellent but not overwhelming. The wine was excellent and reasonably priced, although we didn't eat we will return for a...

Had great difficulty booking the restaurant for the 30th Dec.. Phoning you get routed to the Celtic Manor and it took 8 mins to reserve a table, however it was worth the trouble when we arrived. A warm welcome and drinks at the bar were served with some appetisers. 1 complaint no draught ale, bottles available but a pity that...

Myself and my partner came for a three course meal after Christmas. Staff were very friendly offered us. Drink at the bar for a short while then showed us to our table. The food was amazing ( I would recommend the filet steak) Will be returning.

Festive treat with impeccable service It is with apprehension that we visited given the other reviews but our expectations were indeed surpassed. We would not hesitate to book again. Staying in the four poster bed room which is rustic and breath taking in its deco especially the bathroom. Breakfast was a decadent affair with table service which made a welcomed...

I make no secret of the fact that this place has been our favourite place to eat and stay for some years - arriving always feels like we've come home! We had our wedding here 1 year ago (there was never going to be an alternative as far as we were concerned) and last night celebrated our first anniversary as...

Its a mish mash. Inside could do with a quality revamp its just not slick enough. There was little buzz for Christmas music could be jazzy instead of bland cheesy piped effort. Service amazing but really the food isnt as food as the staff's effort. The starters were excellent however the main's are just not good enough and def not...

I have eaten at the Newbridge on Usk a few times, having been a member at the resort. This restaurant has gone down hill massively, the setting is lovely especially if you want a cosy pub. The food however has changed and they are trying to do something different and it doesn't work. I personally wouldn't done here but had...

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is down to some inconsistency in quality. I've been here a few times, the first blowing my expectations out of the water for dinner and an overnight stay. But the second and third visits weren't quite as good but nonetheless very nice. The wife is a member at Celtic Manor so gets...
