Today,my birthday,I was treated to a delicious afternoon tea at this five star establishment. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and our order was taken by a pleasant male.Sandwiches, were very good followed by super cakes. My friend drunk blackcurrant and hibiscus tea, myself ordinary. Price was good but I felt the extra charge for sandwiches (this is an option) was a little high... More

Booked a couples package, dinner bed & breakfast. Food was fabulous. Wine list good and reasonably priced. Room great. Rooms are in a separate block to bar/ restaurant so expected nice peaceful night. Room noisy, wooden floors mean you can hear people above moving around. Plumbing sang out whenever anyone used it throughout the night! And at 6am the alarms... More

After a testing couple of days it was with welcome relief we arrived at the NOU early in the afternoon (check in 4pm) as it was a beautiful day we decided to enjoy the terrace and views alongside the river usk and indulge in a spot of lunch. It just so happened to be our wedding anniversary also which was... More

Had lunch today. We had a window seat overlooking the Usk. Very pleasant team, quality food with beautiful views. The two course menu for around £16 per head is well worth it due to the previously mentioned quality cuisine. You can also get a lighter tapas lunch on the patio and I believe there is a sandwich type lunch available... More

The Newbridge has a lovely decor, comfortable furnishings, great service, beautiful views and lovely food. Mixture of menus, good freshly cooked food and great ambience I would recommend for adults, families and friends. My girlfriends and I loved it and would go every week. Must book

The Newbridge is part of the burgeoning Celtic Manor empire, and anyone who has read my recent report on Rafters, another restaurant under the Celtic Manor umbrella, will know that I was rather unhappy with our visit there. We have been to the Newbridge once before since it became part of the CM family, and we have visited many times... More

Nicely hidden within the Welsh countryside is located this charming glorified pub style restaurant which is part of the prominent Celtic Manor chain. Food is served fresh and the service is pleasant providing the sophistication to the humble design.

Me and my partner recently stayed two nights here for our anniversary. The staff were lovely and couldn't have done more, very friendly and polite. The room we stayed in was lovely, and cleaned to a good standard both days. We had a meal their one of the nights, and the staff did everything they could to satisfy your needs.... More

We were a party of 8 adults and 3 children, our table was not ready when we first arrived so we sat on the terrace overlooking the river which was perfect for us and the children, so peaceful and relaxing, we had our drinks brought out to us and also our orders were taken before we were shown to our... Wow, what can I say. A lovely venue for a Friday night with friends. Fantastic choice on the menu for all 3 courses. Good value for money. Lovely setting and atmosphere. Staff anticipated needs with a professional friendly manner. Would definitely come back again.
