Cedric and his staff did a wonderful job hosting our visit. Beautiful beach with little or no people. We stayed at Musha Cay, which was very nice but not luxurious. Daily housekeeping provided. However, there were frequent power outages that lasted many hours and one time through the night. A back up generator is needed and Ceric stated there will be one installed fall of 2022. Also brighter lights are needed in the bungalow. We'll probably be back especially if back up generator is up and operating.
I have to say our trip was addicting! We already want to come back! Everyone of the staff were beyond kind! The bungalow was kept spotless! The beach gorgeous! IThank you for a wonderful and memorable trip!
Wonderful place to stay. The hotel is the only larger place on the bay, making the beach feel really exclusive. Rooms are simple, very clean, private and comfortable. The views are gorgeous. Cedric and his staff are amazing - very friendly and approachable. They will help arrange any tours, rental cars and give great tips on where to go. The restaurant is very nice, too. Food is good and they do take credit cards. They are open every day. Highly recommend this little gem!
In June of 2020 my daughter became engaged and they decided on a Bahamas out island wedding. The search began lol. We choose Paradise Bay Villas for our group of 34 renting every villa as well as the Sandcastle Villas next store in which Cedric assisted. Communication with Cedric was excellent. Countless emails answered polite and courteous and informative. No hidden costs or services. The staff at Paradise Bay Villas are wonderful! Every single person we encountered was friendly, courteous, and just plain nice. Everyone! Norbert the property manager is awesome! The front desk staff are awesome, cleaning staff awesome! The views are to die for, great beach-one of the best I have ever been too and the kids loved the swing on the beach. Paddle boards for use, loungers, etc. An awesome place for a wedding as well. We were all close enough together yet not on top of each other for privacy and autonomy. This is not a 5 star resort but has 5 star service! If you want a relaxing, laid back, go with the flow place-this is it! We were all very happy with accommodations and service. Just can't be beat period.…
The resort looks just like their pictures and videos. We booked with Cedric the owner who was so kind, accommodating and helpful, especially since we we had to reschedule due to a family loss. Everything was Very simple and right on the beach, almost like a perfect quiet escape on your own private beach. With the prettiest clear water and white smooth sand. Any questions we had Norbert took care of us at the main office. He was amazing. The maid service was beyond warming, our lady was Kenris and she was full of positivity and kindness. She was amazing! We recommend bring lots of bug repellant and spray and cream. Wear sun screen! Constantly apply! The restaurant that is next to the resort and connected to it was great too! Coco plum Bistro. You have to make a reservation for dinner service there. They do have a credit card machine and you can charge to the room and pay at the end of your stay when you eat there. I highly recommend you bring a lot of cash. The ATMs you will need a ride from a taxi or rent a vehicle and the closest ones are at grand isle or the airport. Then the central bank is all the way in Georgetown. You will go through your cash fast so keep on top of it as the ATMs run out fast. The food was amazing! The people, the culture ….everything. Definitely recommend booking an excursion, go see the wildlife, the swimming pigs, the snorkeling and all the sites, it’s worth it. We did lose power twice while here but it was back up within the hour, no problem. The Wi-Fi was perfect no issues for me. I have AT&T I got an international plan and phone worked great with zero issues. Last don’t trust the weather apps, it said rain and lightening. The last two days we were here, at night there was some thunder and lightening but the days were perfect with none of that and slight overcast that eventually cleared. The days were perfect. I hope you all enjoy this hidden Gem!…
We just returned from a wonderful, restful 6 night stay at Paradise Bay Bahamas. Our two bedroom villa was clean, with a beautiful view of the water and small pool. My mom stayed on one side of the villa and my husband and I on the other with adjoining doors for privacy when needed. Nicka in the office was wonderful from the moment we arrived, helping us with a rental car, booking a private boat and an Aqua quest tour. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning our unit each day and supplying us with fresh beach and bath towels. The beach itself was amazing, crystal clear water, white sand and never had more than 12 people on it. The restaurant on property was very good with reasonable prices. Make sure you bring cash as credit cards are not accepted at the restaurant. I can’t say enough great things about this property if you are looking to rest and enjoy the beach. It was perfect and the price was right.…
Great place to unplug and relax. Rooms have everything you need. The beach is right there cant ask for more. Rooms were cleaned every day and the grounds are kept beautiful. It is a short car drive to Big D, liquor store, cash machine by the marina and coco plum beach. If you are looking for a quiet laid back vacation this is the spot.
We just returned from the most wonderful stay at Paradise Bay Villas! Everything about it was perfect! It is set on one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen! It is quiet and peaceful and could always get a beach chair. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We already booked our return trip! The restaurant on property was the best we tried on the island so just stay there to eat and don't bother leaving!
The Paradise Bay villas were overall a great deal and as close to the water as you can get. My main complaint would be no warning ahead of time that the credit card machine at the restaurant was down and having to make several trips to the ATM to pay for everything in cash. This was also the case at most of the nearby restaurants. The sand flies didn’t bother us too much till the end of the trip and then we got eaten alive our last day there. The standard Off spray didn’t seem to do anything but perhaps a higher DEET formula like deep woods might work. We’ve stayed on Exuma before and never had any issues but I think the larger resorts spray their properties for them. The rooms themselves were very basic but what you would expect for the price. All the staff were very nice and we still had a great week despite the bugs.…
My son and daughter in law found this wonderful place on their honeymoon in 2020 and insisted that we experience it with them this year. It is the most beautiful place that we've ever seen. The cottages ,which are clean and charming, open directly to the sand and ocean. Norbert, who is the on site manager, was warm and welcoming and shared all the tips that made this a perfect vacation. Cocoplum Bistro also on site is charming and offered good food through out the day. Our favorite servers, Melissa and Kahadeah, were so accommodating and a joy to see each day. I could go on and on about how perfect this stay was for us and we will all return some day!!!.
