Hotel exceeded my expectations was spotless the staff were efficient and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The most beautiful blue water I have ever seen! A great way to spend Christmas, will definitely come back for another visit. Food was top notch
Was really excited to use the gym here as it was spoken of very highly on the resort website, but unfortunately it was closed for maintenance and this was not mentioned anywhere on the website. I would have brought other stuff to do workouts had I known this was the case.
Just used the facilities for the day when we stopped here on a cruise. Basically beach access and a pool with the use of the loungers and towels. Unfortunately, there is next to nothing to do in Bimini. I would have preferred going to one of the cruise lines private islands. Beach area was nice. Staff set up an umbrella for us. Water was the day we were there. Pool was decent, but could use more chairs. Food and drink were overpriced as expected. We skipped the $100 all you can drink option. The only bar you could use for that was near the front and your options were limited. With so little to do in Bimini, this wouldn't be your worst option if you find yourself there for the day.
Resorts World is ruining Bimini. Their construction is destroying everything unique and special about this island, and replacing it with generic "beach resort" amenities. There's nothing special about this place, other than the trash and dirt it dumps into the water - killing the natural heritage of this once beautiful, bio-diverse island oasis. Skip it. Hemmingway would be appalled.
My wife and I decided to visit this resort once arriving on a cruise ship. We were lied to by the sales representative at the resort who sold us $100 package per person, she said included pool and beach access drinks and lunch. The only drinks that are free is at the small bar located by the service desk by the entrance of the resort (which was never explained to us). The bar is an inconvenience to get to if you are in the pool or on the beach. All the other bars around the resort drinks are not included. We learned that by ordering a drink at the pool side bar and had to pay $27 after the drinks were prepared. The sales representative told us food was included in our package and once arriving at one of the restaurants we were informed that our meal was not included. We approached the manager with the issue and was immediately met with aggression. He told us that our packages only included drinks, which we told him his sell representative lied to us and others who came from the ship. One guest came up to me and told me that he watched a representative at the resort sale a coconut drink to another traveler for $25, when he tried to purchase the same drink the guy told him $40. My wife and I are avid travelers and have traveled to the Bahamas several times (first time in Bimini). I’m trying not to let a bad encounter with certain people at Bimini form my opinion on the location but as of right now I will not be going back to Bimini. CRUISERS BEWARE WORKERS AT THIS RESORT ARE SHIESTY HUSTLERS !!!…
