We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back. Grounds were beautiful and staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and fun to be around. Our room was booked in the Ocean, but they put us in the coral. Room was clean and comfortable, but was the ugliest room we could have ever dreamed of. I mean UGLY! Even so,... More

so many mixed reviews with this resort. Hopefully, this helps out... We stayed there on an RCI through my company. We stayed in the ocean part. The room was clean, but it clearly needed updates. We're not very materialistic, so that wasn't an issue for us. The green toilet and sink were an interesting quirk! The hot water was hit... More

We stayed here in 2005. It was a summer vacation and didn't know what to expect..the pool...the pool... the pool and the Bahama Mamas are with the trip! The restaurant where we had breakfast was like somewhere marooned or at a cottage in the Bahamas. Can't quite explain it... so simple. But wonderful food all the time... Think of white... More

This older resort was clean and comfortable. The two bedroom lockout was roomy enough to spread out even though the layout was like two studio apartments. The private beach was fantastic. The resort staff were friendly but beware that no one is in a hurry. As my sister says - they are always on Island time. The food at the... More

Our first visit to The Bahamas (wife and I). Pleasant Bahamians greeted us at the airport. Passport Control could not have been nicer. Bags arrived in five minutes. $25 taxi to the property. Checked in at Taino at 1pm. Rooms not available till 4pm. Checked the bags at the desk (after collecting shorts and swimsuit). Cooled off in the pool... More

There is a big debate with these reviews whether The Ocean or The Marlin is the place to be... I've attached 2 pictures from our room in The Ocean-it was beautiful!! (Room 3307/3308) We did encounter some maintenance issues that we attribute to the older building and next time will ask to stay in The Marlin. The grounds/property itself is... More

We loved the beach and the pool with a slide, grottos, and a lazy river that you could float all the way around. However, the water slide was advertised to be opened from 11:30 to 4:30 every day but there were a number of days that it wasn't opened. We found the grottos to be a nice place to get... More

I stayed there at The Coral. The room was old, dated, and dirty. The "jacuzzi" was outside the room and looked more like a horse trough!. The concrete was chippled, pitted, and peeling. There was no way that I would've got in. The service desk took almost 2 hrs to check me in. I had several confirmations on my phone... More

I would have given this place a four stars but the slowness at the check in desk (caused us to miss our excursion - 1 hours to get our room keys and we were first inline) and older rooms reduced that given to us with broken titles and rusted sink and microwave. We are in the 21st Century and no... More

This has been a hard review for me. The staff was over the top accommodating! Valentine, Buddy, the list goes on. They were so amazing. The grounds of the hotel is meticulous. The beach one of the best I've ever seen (eat your heart out 7 mile beach, Jamaica). It was always clean. There were always plenty of chairs. The... More
