Being adjacent to Atlantis, our kids enjoyed all the facilities of Atlantis (at a little extra cost) and the conveneince of the "All Inclusive" package the Riu offered. Aquamarine beach, good enough water activities, excellent staff, clean hotel and healthy food options. Only disappointment was the pool was small and the Gym did not open till 7 am. later learnt...

Just got back from a week in paradise, we stayed at the Riu on Paridise Island and it was our best vacation yet. All inclusive, clean rooms, good service, swim up bar, beautiful beach etc. etc. If you are looking to spend a week in an unbelieveable place than this is it. Atlantis is much too large, pick the Riu,...

I just got back from the Riu in the Bahamas. I have stayed at a Riu before and expectations were high. I was disapointed. Pros: the staff was excepetional. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice and clean and offered most anything you would want. The food was a pleasant surprise too. Every meal in the buffet area was...

Let me just start by saying I have traveled to a lot of islands and am in no way unreasonable. I know they are usually damp and maybe a few critters, etc. Stayed at the Riu in Aruba, so can honestly compare it to this resort. If the Aruba Riu is a 5-star, then the Bahama Riu is a 3-star....

After having a terrible experience at Riu in Cabo I was reluctant to stay here but had a friend convince me to give it a try, my bar was set low but I was pleasantly surprised. Pros - Beautiful views, right on the water. Large rooms with comfortable beds and nice sheets. 24 hour room service that delivers pretty quickly...

My daughter and I went for 4 days, 3 nights (July 26-July 29). The room was fine, a little outdated but comfortable enough. The food was average to quite good for some items. The fruit juice in the morning was amazing and fresh. The freshly made omelets were also nice. I would not even consider swimming in the pool, but...

We had a wonderful experience July 2nd-9th at the Riu Palace on Paradise Island! While there are fancier places to stay, this was a great value for the money. The location can't be beat, literally steps away from Atlantis, on a beautiful beach with clear turquoise water. The hotel staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful, and the all-inclusive buffets...

Although the food was good and the drinks were free, the pool was absolutely NASTY! Black mold lining the pool, the water was never clear but had swirls of oil and who knows what in the corners. Don't bother laying out on the in pool loungers either unless you like empty cups and floating debris surrounding you. If your attractive...

The hotel was very clean great staff and 24 hrs all inclusive means all inclusive. The mini bar was refilled daily, there was food, snacks and drinks available 24 hrs. I will be looking to stay at other RIU all inclusives. People we meet from other hotels said the food was very expensive in the area. PS do not take...
