Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Harborside Resort at Atlantis is celebrated for its range of atmospheres and villa-style accommodations, with guests particularly enjoying the pristine pools. However, the charm is slightly marred by outdated rooms that many feel could benefit from refurbishment. While the resort's amenities, including kitchen facilities and access to Atlantis attractions, are a hit, they are somewhat overshadowed by concerns over cleanliness and value, with numerous travelers citing steep prices for food and internet services. Service quality at Harborside seems hit-or-miss, with reports of both commendable and disappointing encounters. The resort's location is generally praised, yet some guests suggest that both the service and cleanliness could be enhanced. Despite the spaciousness of some rooms and the excitement over renovations, there's a consensus that room updates and more rigorous maintenance are needed.

Recent trip to the Atlantis Review! Stayed at Harborside. I thought the villa was overall very nice. Hot water was weak the first two days. We were in Building 1, which overlooked the Atlantis casino area and the marina. Our view was beautiful yachts. Pullout couch was not comfy. Pool at Harborside is very nice, no drink service, you have to walk up to the bar area to order drinks and food. Shuttles are hit and miss, sometimes you wait a while for them, othertimes you jump right on. We found the walk to the marina short from harborside. I made it from harborside to the bath colonades pool in 22 min. I walked both ways, but I walk fast. Monday-had a hard time getting pool chairs at the mayan area. I'd suggest getting your booty down there by 8:45 if you want a chance at a chair period. Refillable pool cup. Get one. It's $30 bucks but you get a frozen alcoholic drink in it for that price. Then, you can refill it all week with coke for free. If you want a drink refill it's $17 I believe....We eventually found lounge chairs in the sand by the hammocks/rapid river entrance. Rapid river very fun. Keep your butt up. I don't understand why they make you get out and then back in on the other side, but they do. We ate at Nobu Monday evening. It was so delicious. It was our best meal by far. It is expensive. Service lacked, but food made up for it. Tues-rented a cabana near mayan pool. $1250. I enjoyed it, but boy, that is expensive for one day, we had a party of 6. Service was pretty good. Evening meal was Cafe Martinique in the marina. It is an upstairs restaurant that is very upscale. French. I enjoyed it very much! Good service, but food wasn't as good as Nobu. Wed-pool day. Had staff save us seats. tipped them I think $60 dollars to hold 6 chairs and umbrellas. Good day by the pool. Kids did the slides. Waited in line for 40 min to ride the slide. I wish they wouldn't let so many cruisers in for the day. Many slides were closed. Three were closed that day. Wed. nite we ate at Dune, Four seasons. Four seasons is worth seeing, beautiful beautiful property. I enjoyed dinner. It was good, but not great, but amazing drinks and scenery to die for. Thurs-Rented Cabana at the Coral. It was okay. Cabana cheaper there. Better seating in my opinion. Coral pool was my least favorite. Ate on a sunset seahourse catamarran cruise. The boat was not in good shape. I've been on many nicer catamarrans. Fri-Rose Island, Sandy Toes Swim with pigs and scuba tour. Worth it. It was so fun and the island is gorgeous with the most amazing water on the north shore. Pigs were certainly fun. Ate at Carmines. It was good. The meatballs were my favorite. large portions. Kids ordered the Tugboat desert. Cute and good presentation. Sat-Went to the Bath Colonades pool. Best pool by far. I saved seats at 7:50am. This pool seemed the least crowded. Sat. nite we ate at Fish. I didn't enjoy my meal there. I got the striped bass? It wasn't my thing. Sunset at the larger Cove pool/beach is soooo pretty! The cove has a beautiful upscale vibe.

It's less crowded than the Tower or other buildings. The rooms were ok; showers were very old. It is not high end but it is spacious. The buildings are around the marina so you can see all the yachts coming and going.. The beach and ocean was closed due to high winds and waves for 4 of the 5 days that we were there. The rapid river was so crowded and they ran out of towels. We couldn't get a chair or lounge chair at the pools. The restaurant in the casino, Salin, was very good.

A big hoax. Incredibly expensive and a very poor return. Bought a day pass for 3 for almost 6 hundred bucks. No WiFi available. The aquarium is below what one could expect. Lines everywhere. Limited choices of drinks. This company abuses you for being the only choice in Bahamas. Service is poor. Literally optionless. I wish I haven’t spent this amount of money for so very little. Explore local and stay away from a place that, in terms of comfort and money worth, is miles worse than Disneyland. If you are used to get your budget’s worth, stay away from this below average place

Not enough beach chairs and the ones that exist are in very bad condition. Despite arriving to beach early in the morning, we were unable to find a single available beach chair on more than one occasion. Also witnessed many frustrated guests dealing with the same issue, and resorting to nasty behaviour by taking "reserved" but unattended chairs from others.

So much walking and backtracking even with the App but everyone had a great time. The younger ones loved the water rides. The staff seemed genuinely happy and were helpful. Getting groceries was not convenient, tho.

First time at Bahamas Harborside Resort. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Not too many varieties of stores at the Marina and close to the resort. No grocery store with variety of products close by. Price are times10 more than US at the Resort plus10%VAT. Beach was beautiful a total paradise. To the Water park you want to go earlier to get chairs and good place to enjoy your day at the water park and pool. Great vacation and we built unforgettable family memories.

Harborside is run down, accommodations are not worth the money. Rooms were dirty, service is poor (forgot to bring our luggage up, asked for a handicap room well in advance, got there and no rooms available, no bath mats, tissues, basic kitchen items missing, no blankets etc). Mainly interested in getting you to attend a morning long sales pitch

Had an enjoyable trip, but Harborside is starting to nickel and dime on things that don't make sense for such an expensive property. Should not be charging $24/day for wifi for only 4 devices. Should be replenishing laundry soap, dishwasher detergent and dish towels in the mid-week maid service. Would like to see a couple of the restaurants get upgraded food (Bimini Road, Sip Sip and the Marina pizza).

The beaches are beautiful and friendly staff to bring you a cocktail or anything you need to make your day enjoyable. Fun trip. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from for your budget and plenty of entertainment on the property.

Resort is beautiful. Been going for over 25 years. Family of 14 stayed in several units at Harborside. A little dated, carpets need a good cleaning. Feet were filthy and had to wear shoes in the unit.
