The Warwick Paradise Island - Bahamas garners appreciation for its spacious rooms with stunning views, though some guests note the bathrooms could use updating and housekeeping can be tardy. While the staff's friendliness and helpfulness are often highlighted, service inconsistencies are mentioned. The hotel's cleanliness and well-maintained grounds receive positive remarks, but there are occasional slip-ups in towel provision. Amenities, including diverse dining options and engaging entertainment, are well-received, yet some areas seem ripe for enhancement. Guests enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, although a few yearn for quieter spaces. Reviews on value are mixed, with concerns over high costs and extra charges. Nonetheless, the hotel's location is consistently praised for its convenience and safety.

My husband and I just returned from a week at the Warwick Paradise Island. We went on a timeshare exchange and really weren't sure what to expect. We ended up having one of the best vacations ever! Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the harbor and sunset - well worth the small upgrade fee. Shout out to Michelle Williams who cleaned our room daily, was always friendly, and who made sure our fridge was stocked daily! The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

It was always easy to find lounge chairs around the various pools, the all-inclusive food was varied and quite good - including a steak restaurant, an Italian restaurant, an Asian restaurant, a poolside "lunch" place with fantastic jerk chicken, fresh Caesar salad, and corn on the cob, and a buffet restaurant that always had ample and delicious options! Thankfully I only learned about the self-serve soft ice-cream cones on the last day (or I would've put on way too much weight!).

The hotel is on the harbor which made the view of passing ships interesting to watch, and the secluded turquoise water Cabbage beach was a 2 minute free shuttle away.

The staff by the pool were always offering to refill your drinks or get you anything you need. The towel lady was so friendly. The bartenders took care of us quickly and with a smile.

We felt safe, pampered, and extremely happy. Thank you Warwick!

My partner and I went to this hotel to celebrate my birthday. Lovely hotel situated in a nice location on Paradise island. In general we have had a great experience at this hotel. Check in was good and Shama who is currently on vacation was exceptionally good upon reception, ensuring that all our needs were met as we had some difficulty with the safe, but was quickly fixed.
All staff are very polite, welcoming and friendly- everybody- ranging from cleaning staff to the restaurants, bar, receptions and managers. Big thank you to Kendrick in the restaurant who is always full of joy and happiness- always happy to help- a smile on someone's face goes a long way. Leo from the bar was ace with his cocktails and especially the margaritas that he made for us- he knows exactly how to mix cocktails :-).
We had a slight problem with the AC which was rattling but that was quickly fixed. I slept really well as bed and pillows were comfortable. Room is always nice and clean and daily bottles of water is replenished.
There was a wide variety of food to choose to from for breakfast, lunch and dinner- traditional Caribbean/ Bahamian local cuisine was a plus. You can also book the chinese, italian and the grill restaurant in advance.
We had a shuttle that takes you to Cabbage beach and back on a daily basis, every 30 minutes- but the male driver could be a little more polite and friendly to guests. I would recommend to go to cabbage beach Monday to Friday rather than the weekend as you get to the private entrace to the beach which is nicer, more private and calmer far from the madening crowd.
Week days are very peaceful, calmer and quieter for those who are staying longer, as the weekend tend to get a bit busier, crowdier and rowdier as guests tend to come for a weekend.
My only recommendations for improvement at the hotel is that the furniture need to be replaced in the rooms as they are a bit outdated, some staff at the hog bar could be a little more friendlier and the lagoon/beach could be cleaned, especially when the sea weeds have been washed on the beach. The music by the lagoon could be turned down a little as guests wanted to have a quieter time on the loungers.
Overall, I have enjoyed a fantastic birthday holiday at the Warwick Paradise hotel, having met some wonderful people all over the world tying friendship with them and a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the staff for your hard work to make our stay a pleasant and a memorable one. I wish Shama a very Happy Birthday on the 20th October.
I have definitely recommended this hotel to family and friends who will book their next holidays there.

The Warwick in Paradise Island was a breath of fresh air. A group of 4 of us were staying at the Riu Palace on Paradise Island and after one night into our stay at that nightmare of a resort we checked out and was able to find available rooms at the Warwick. From the moment we walked into the Warwick it was such a welcoming vibe and we were met with nothing but smiles and kindness. The resort is BEAUTIFUL! The pools were maintained well, the food was always fresh and tasty at all of the restaurants and buffet. There was even a made-to-order snack area with the best wings and burgers, a perfect mid-afternoon pick me up after drinking by the pool. The entertainment staff really put their effort in and it was much appreciated, they made sure all who wanted to participate were involved and enjoyed the activites. The housekeeping staff were so polite and friendly that you felt as if you were visiting someone's private residence. I can not recommended the Warwick enough and I will definitely be back, hopefully annually!

This hotel is on Paradise Island but the hotel and location does not live up to the name. When you hear and read about Paradise Island, you expect it to be fantastic. It isn’t….there is nothing there but a few hotels, a street full of cheap tourist stuff and several jewellry shops geared up for the cruise ships

The Warwick was an average hotel, with average amenities, that are aimed at loud groups of people on bachelor/bachelorette parties. The food is Ok if you rotate between the restaurants and don’t eat same thing each time. Please note we would have given it a 1 rating but Debbie at Concierge Desk was very helpful sorting our evening meal arrangements and the lady who hands out pool towels was so happy and smiley every day

We stayed for a couple of weeks over New Year and spent our day time scuba diving at the Sandals Royal Bahamian because no dive centre nearby bothered to come and pick us up at the Warwick! We got taxis there and back every day but it was worth it….if we had known what we were about to experience, we would not have stayed at the Warwick

Unfortunately we suffered two major issues at the Warwick hotel:

1. We got locked out of our room and someone had to be called to force entry to the door. This took so long as we waited 2 hours to get into our room. Due to this, we missed the shuttle to the casino and the hotel wanted to charge us for a taxi….we refused and they conceded and arranged another shuttle. We were upgraded to a room over looking the pool, but it was dark and had to check out the next day, so it was pointless (there were also no bathrobes as promised in this upgraded room either)

2. Early next morning on the day of checkout, the toilet overflowed into the entire entrance area, and we could not get out of our room as the toilet water was right up to and along the door, an absolutely disgusting end to our trip. The cleaner was horrified when they came in and said the whole room had to be deep cleaned and sanitised

We were told we would get two nights refunds on our resort fees, for both issues but they only refunded for one of them. More than four weeks after getting home, we still had not received the second resort fee and chased getting the run around from staff who just don’t care after you leave

We then complained direct to the general manager and head office. To our shock, we didn’t even get the courtesy of a reply from either, the general manger or head office. We were absolutely not happy about this (and have the email threads as proof!) We got the second refund via a chargeback on our credit card immediately by our credit card company, after all the stress of chasing it…….

We not recommend this hotel to anyone…..9 months later we are still upset about our experiences thts it has taken us this long to write our review.

Dear ChinaDragon4, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay at Warwick Paradise Island. We deeply regret that your experience fell short of expectations and sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. We are disheartened to learn that the resort's amenities and environment did not align with what you had envisioned for Paradise Island. Your comments about the lack of diverse attractions and the focus on loud parties are duly noted, and we will review our offerings to ensure a broader range of experiences for our guests. We sincerely apologize for the two major issues you experienced during your stay. The delay in regaining access to your room and the subsequent disruption to your plans are unacceptable, and we understand the frustration this caused. Similarly, the early morning incident of the toilet overflowing is deeply regrettable, and we assure you that steps are being taken to prevent such occurrences in the future. We are also concerned to hear about the difficulties you faced in securing the promised refunds. This is not reflective of the service standards we strive to uphold. We apologize for the lack of responsiveness from our team and are glad that you were able to resolve the matter through your credit card company. Please be assured that we are addressing these lapses internally to prevent similar issues. On a positive note, we are pleased to hear that Debbie at the Concierge Desk and our pool towel attendant provided you with exceptional service. We will ensure they are recognized for their efforts in making your stay more pleasant. We understand that this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and for that, we are truly sorry. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to making necessary improvements to better serve our guests in the future. Once again thank you for taking the time to provide these comments so that we may improve our services. Best wishes, Benjamin

I'm not going to follow the masses here and lambast the place as it is what it is. You have to keep in mind that this is a third world location dressed up to be a 1st world attraction to westerners (Americans). With that in mind, the place is decent enough as it's clean overall and the owners know enough to ensure basic safety protocols (i.e. gated and uniformed security at the front driveway, plastic admission bracelets, etc.)
This is important in light of the US travel advisory upgrade last week. Find the local press and read it to get a better overview of what's happening on the ground and how the killings are being carried out.

The room doors are fairly secure with typical loop-type latching and a pretty solid dead-bolt as well as peep hole equipped. The room staff knock and announce before any attempt to enter and repairmen will not even knock on the door if the door hanger for 'No Service' is affixed.
Avoid anything other than a balcony suit as the western side of the hotel offers nothing but a great view of the garbage collection bins and staff entrance at the foot of the hotel.

They will ding you for hidden fees such as a 'Resort' fee of $20.00 (USD) per person, per day. So save the extra dollar or more tipping, as according to the auto response of other reviews here they distribute the take evenly to all staff.
Speaking of staff, most were pleasant and one or two seemed to really enjoy their jobs. 'Reggie' I believe was his name was a bright spot as he was always singing, and dancing while engaging the paying tourists. He usually bounced from the buffet to the pool area. Unfortunately he was never assigned as the pool bartender or at the main lobby bar ether, as both these places could use an immediate upgrade in staff. The pool bartender had a slim female working it this past week and she could not have presented her face anymore bitter if she tried. I made a point to go against my advice and tip the lady actually serving patrons at the pool side and beach in front of her so she kinda got the message - if you hate your job or the people who ask you to preform your job maybe it's time to move along.
A last shout out to 'Valarie' at the towel desk by the pool, she was a great source of local history and valuable intell.

The staff are what really makes this place. Really fun, kind, friendly, exuberant people. The place itself is quaint and secluded. We reserved a taxi service in advance for our arrival and departure, and I highly recommend this for safety reasons. You never know what you’re going to get otherwise.
The pool chairs were a bit worse for wear, but the staff again were so happy to help with any arrangements and giant umbrellas to shade. Even the rain didn’t ruin the ambiance. They offered fun activities such as water aerobics, trivia, Junkanoo dancing, etc.
I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the food. Why? It’s an all inclusive resort. I didn’t expect filet mignon. Everything was satisfactory. The Italian place and Asian places were delicious. I would not recommend the steakhouse. I would have been happy to eat in the Verandah (buffet) for every single meal. The oatmeal, the artichoke salad, and the turmeric eggs specifically were great.
The drinks are heavy pours — I watched them make it and was pleasantly surprised. If you wanna get tipsy, you can easily make that happen! Get the Bahama Mama drinks. The waiters and waitresses will bring them right to you poolside — make sure to hydrate!
I was wondering about if the water was drinkable or not, and we had no issues there. The water was delicious and they also provided bottled water (4 bottles) in your room daily.
Bring your own sunscreen and bug spray and lather up on both before going poolside. I got quite bitten up out there by the beautiful flowers, and if you forget sunscreen, it’s $32 in the gift shop.
We had an issue with the AC in our room, and any time we called the front desk, whatever concern we had was addressed within 5 minutes. Exceptional customer service.
If you’re going to the Bahamas, it’s well worth it to stay here.

Our stay at the Warwick Paradise Island was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and incredible hospitality from the entire staff. A special shout-out to Alex, our favorite activities host extraordinaire, who made every game and activity so much fun. Travis and Deondre were also fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment spent with them. Brendan impressed us with his creative and delicious new sweet shot, and Erik (apologies for accidentally calling you Brendan!) kept the drinks flowing. "T," one of the cornhole champs, added to the fun as well.

The staff as a whole deserves recognition—from the valet team, the restaurant staff, and the friendly gift shop attendant who shared great tips, to the housekeepers who were so attentive. Everyone provided exceptional customer service in such an approachable and friendly way.

The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the pool area was stunning—resort-style beauty with plenty of seating and attentive staff ensuring you always had a drink in hand.

Food and Dining:
The buffet was generally good, with multiple delicious options that rotated for lunch and dinner. We loved the outdoor dining area with its late-night menu, which featured amazing nachos, wings, and a must-try conch dish. The pizza wasn’t our favorite, but everything else hit the spot.

Of the three reserved dining options, the steakhouse was our top pick—absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, the Italian restaurant didn’t live up to expectations. For our final dinner, we ventured off-property to Margaritaville, which is a great choice if you don't mind spending extra money.

Activities and Entertainment:
The daily activities were a highlight of our trip. Sip-and-paint, trivia, cornhole, karaoke, horseshoes, limbo, and more brought everyone together and made our stay unexpectedly more enjoyable. A huge thank you to Alex and the activities team for keeping the energy up!

Karaoke was the only real letdown. It used karaoke tracks without the artist's vocals, which took away from the experience for non-singers like us. Offering a choice between karaoke with lyrics and karaoke with vocals would make it better for everyone.

We also noticed that while the tennis/pickleball courts were cracked, we would have still loved to participate in organized games. More music around the resort during activities and lounging would enhance the festive vibe as well.

Other Highlights:
The convenience of the small layout was a major perk—we could easily pop back to our room whenever needed. The Bahama Mama station in the lobby and the outdoor Hog Bar were greatly used and appreciated.

We walked to the nearby Atlantis Resort for their thrilling water slides and aquarium, which was a fun (though pricey) excursion. It made us appreciate the Warwick's all-inclusive setup even more.

Final Thoughts:
The Warwick Paradise Island delivered an amazing experience, and we would absolutely do it all over again! Thank you to the incredible staff for making our vacation so memorable.

This is a nice property with professional, helpful staff, good food (buffet, plus three restaurants) and excellent desserts! (seriously, the pastry chef is phenomenal) We enjoyed dinner at Edgewater (one of the restaurants) one night and the food was superior. The rooms are clean, bright, and well-appointed; the nightly entertainment includes trivia, ping pong contests, and karaoke to name some; the van to nearby Cabbage Beach (one of the best in the Bahamas) runs on the half hour; and a van drops off and picks up at Atlantis (casino, shopping, restaurants) every evening at 8:00 and 11:00 respectively. Our only snafus included a too-long wait time (45 minutes) upon check-in (like a lot of arriving guests we were exhausted, and the desk staff showed no signs of hustle or urgency), and we had to ask on more than one occasion for the correct number of towels. Other than that, a positive stay.

We've now been at The Warwick for 4 nights and are truly impressed. The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. We are amazed at how hard they work and do it with a smile. They deserve every tip they receive and more!! For being a smaller property, The Warwick made sure to uniquely create a pool/beach oasis. We love the view, watching the yatchs and enjoying the breeze. We thought we might miss being directly on a beach but have found this equally relaxing. Everything is so clean, tidy and well-tended to. Like I said, the staff works hard and never stops! We have not had a bad meal and have enjoyed the options. We feel the staff at the buffet area are especially friendly. We are staying in a premium harbor balcony room and love it. The view and space are well worth it. We have refreshments that are replenished daily and love the scent of the bath products. We are more than fine with the bathroom size. Reading reviews before staying here we felt it was going to be much smaller than it is. The only minor additions that would be helpful is a soap dish for the hand soap (we used a coffee cup lid), either shelving under the sink or on the wall above the toilet to house personal items and more hangers in the large closet.
This is our first time in the Bahamas and loved having a quick flight from N.H. We would definitely stay at The Warwick again and love the location and have felt safe walking around Paradise Island.

Had an amazingggg time at Warwick, special mention to Alex and Bullet who kept me entertained, Denise at concierge, and the lovely cleaner (apologies can’t remember her name).

The hallway is not well lit which worried me initially but the rooms are gorgeousss, light and bright which more than makes up for it. The view from the window is 90:10, you can definitely see the palm trees, sand etc but you can also see part of the construction site.

General buffet food is good, also enjoyed the restaurant food (although it’s not Bahamian cuisine), restaurant staff sang to me as it was my birthday which I absolutely loved. There are 3 restaurants open on specific days and available to reserve via the concierge desk. Drinks were 10/10 particularly the Bahama Mamas!

Night time entertainment is amusing to say the least, there is also a ping-pong table and bicycles available for use.

Pools, hot tub and sea are all lovely, but if you’re an avid swimmer you may want to go to the beach as the part of the sea the belongs to the hotel is enough but not huge.

There is a shuttle that takes you to Cabbage Beach which is straight forward and has to be one the clearest and cleanest beaches I have ever seen - but be warned the beach is not ‘free’ as such, you have to pay to rent the chairs, parasols etc otherwise you’ll be sitting on blazing hot sand.

There is also a shuttle that can take you to Atlantis in the evening where there is a Casino, Aquarium, a club and Nobu (service in Nobu is horrendous - don’t bother).

Would definitely return to Warwick!
