Second time to the island for work and first time at the Warwick and the search is over I've found my Bahamas hotel! Everything was great - adequate parking, great food, comfortable food and the service was just excellent, homely and warm. Unfortunately because of work I did not enjoy the leisure activities 😕 but that won't happen next time as I was told of karaoke, games night etc. Special shout out to the entire Front Office team who greeted me warmly on my daily morning exits and returns. Thanks Sharma for my Bahama Mama and thanks Marvin and Jamel for the numerous jokes. See you all in February 😁
Again, after much thinking I would love to rate it as a four start, but they have a lot of work to be done. I will just start by naming the very basics, and perhaps they use as constructive criticism. Pros: - Service: I do have to give them a true FIVE stars on this one. From the front desk personnel (Shama, Marvin, Victoria, etc.), to bartenders, cleaning personal, Kevin and crew at the beach bar, everyone is extremely friendly and attentive. They make you feel welcome from the minute you step foot at the premises. - Location: Conveniently located near the bridge and near Atlantis, and all of its amenities. Really nice walkable area (we love walking), with nice views and also really close to everything around. - Views: Right in front of the water, it cannot get any better than this! You can just sit down and watch boats passing by all day long. Cons: - Bars: I found strange that for an adults only resort, there’s only two bars at the premises (one outside, and one inside). More interesting, they are never open at the same time! Even more interesting… they don’t have bar stools for people to sit! My assumption is that they don’t want people to hang. I’m not a bar person, but again, I’ve been to MANY adult only resorts and this is something extremely common. - Not much to do: I mean, no night activities aside from vendors here and there and a “one man band” one night. A lot of other guests complained about the same issue while we were there and now I see why. - Food: After a few days the buffet menu at the Veranda get pretty similar and kind of boring. Breakfast is the same EVERY DAY!!! - Beach: Not really a beach, but just a man made area. Not fault of their own though, and they have shuttles to take you to other nearby beaches (stay away from Cabbage Beach. Just not worth it). They also try to maintain it clean every day, which is good, but just not really a beach. - Facilities: This was my biggest one. The place, especially outside, looks extremely beat up. I know that the location makes it hard to maintain, but even the outside chairs and umbrellas have seen better days. They even have a new hot tub on the works, that nobody worked on for the seven days we were there. There was also “one” broken volleyball ball that floated in the pool all week. Can they just buy a couple of extra ones??? In summary, I think the place has a ton of potential, however, just a bit pricy for what you get as it is. Especially for the price, you can get a bigger bang for your buck at places like Punta Cana, Cancun, etc., with better quality drinks, better facilities, and bigger variety of food. Could be much better and hopefully they do something about it.…
Lovely staff, nice location, good food, good cocktails. Right by small private beach, rooms cleaned daily by friendly staff. Short walk/ courtesy bus to the Atlantis casino. Nice pool, lovely te,perturbed. Karaoke and games in the evening.
First and foremost I want to give a shout-out to Vivian! She was hands down the most helpful person at the resort! Totally deserves employee of the month for how much she helped us. Second, I would like to talk about Jackie (works in buffet room) she however was the most rude staff I ever met. Told her I wanted no Ice in my water and she rolled her eyes and her mannerism was just rude. To all the other people she was as sweet as can be. All of the other staff were AMAZING and super helpful. If she’s in the business of helping people she sure needs to act like it. The resort itself was very good..stayed there 3 nights and couldn’t get into any of the fine dinning restaurants as many of them had waiting lists. First room that we were in had some issues but staff quickly put us in another room. Overall had a great time here and do recommend this resort!…
What an experience it was! From the delectable and delicious foods, to the hospitable and warm staff, this was a vacation that will forever be remembered! A special thanks to the staff such as Bengie, Leshell, Ronnie, Alphrize, Samantha and DJ James who made our vacation exceptional and memorable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Bahamas.
I did another review earlier but can't edit. Get bottles of water for room, water tastes like Sulphur, after a shower you don't smell clean. Staff is great, place is clean. Looms like they are building another hot tub area and the fencing blocks the view of all the massively crowded day boats off the cruise ships
All-inclusive Hotel. The right choice when you want to party and to drink with no limits. Rooms are ok, however no style or atmosphere. On the lower level, views are lousy. Food was ok, Bars too. In the afternoon extremely loud and annoying rap.
We spent 7 nights as part of our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay for a number of reasons. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It offers a number of different dining experiences (buffet, grill, asian and Italian) which were very well received by both of us, with indoor and poolside bars easily accessible. There were a number of fun activities available throughout the week organised by the hotel and is also in walking distance from a number of excursions including going to paradise/ rose island to interact with the wildlife. Overall, it was a really good experience that allowed us to have a very relaxing stay as well as see a bit of Nassau and the nearby islands!
At first we were a little unsure of this hotel - it’s clean and conveniently located but falls a little short of a 5 star resort BUT what an incredible staff team - we have never experienced such a warm welcome and amazing service and would choose the Warwick again and again. Kaylisa - you were incredible. You went above and beyond to make our experience amazing - checking the menus and waiting for us to come to dinner tomake sure we ensuring we had vegetarian options.. Michelle - you felt like family with your hugs and special attention Jamell- you were so friendly, funny and helpful And everyone else - too many to mention.. YOU make this hotel what it is and are the reason we will recommend the Warwick. Thank you all
Warwick Paradise Island is such a hidden gem in Nassau, Bahamas. Unbelievable nightly rates for an Adults Only (16+) All Inclusive resort. I normally do not sleep well in a hotel, but completely felt safe and slept with no problem. All the staff, from check in, activities team, food/beverage team, maintenance, bar service, everyone was so great to assist, friendly, and welcoming. Love the old arcade style games that do not need quarters to play. I enjoyed playing some pinball while waiting for my traveling companions. Also surprised that there was shuttle service to Cabbage Beach and Atlantis Casino which are both nearby but in the warm sun not fun to walk to. Food was great, drinks were always available, and entertainment non stop all day and night. Great resort and I cannot wait to return.…
