I'd like to start by expressing my gratitude to all of the Acharyas, karma yoguis and those who day to day work 24/7 to provide a safe, satvic and sincere effort to sustain this beautiful place and legacy. I decided to return to the Sivananda Yoga retreat for ATTC after many years my call was simple I was exhausted from...

I did the TTC in the ashram, wanted to certify myself as a yoga teacher so I went and stayed for 1 month, every day I did spiritual discipline, and I had the opportunity to practice the 4 paths of yoga. The first few days were difficult but after a week I was delighted with absolutely everything I thought it...

I went to the ashram to do a yoga teacher training. As soon as I arrived, I felt at home. The staff is welcoming, devoted and also helpful. The food was so yummy and fresh! Fabulous variety. During the 30 days, I enjoyed every meals! I slept the whole month in a tent on the camp ground. It was nice...

Wow. I went to this retreat because I was emotionally exhausted from caregiving (both my parents have Alzheimer's) and because I wanted to improve my yoga practise. To put it succinctly, I have never had a more NOURISHING 10 days in my entire lifetime. Not only did I refresh my energy and revitalize my yoga practise, I learned something from...

The positive elements of Sivananda: it sits on a beautiful beach, it's such a serene place with peaceful yoga, relaxing satsangs and delicious vegetarian food. Now, the negatives. Unfortunately, the customer service is horrible, and the housing facilities for the Yoga Vacation program are not up to par. Sivananda needs to improve both elements in order to justify the steep...

I read a lot about this place and am frequently go on solo retreats. The idea that you can camp and they offered platform tents that were like a glamping setup really made it appealing so I decided to go for 2 nights. When I arrived at the dock, it was a beautiful property and the karma yogi working at...

Stayed here for 10 nights and did the Essentials of Yoga level 1. The place is as beautiful as the pictures. The food is fab. Two great veggie meals a day that left me, a devout meat eater, full and nourished. I loved the atmosphere and amazing mix of visitors who restored my faith in human beings; every visitor I...

I went here for a week on the Yoga Vacation Program. It was intense, waking up at 530 and being kept busy until 10-1030 pm. For spiritual teacher training, I would guess it would be good. For a relaxing yoga vacation, not really. After all, it is an Ashram. They are strict and honestly, a little "judgy". I heard several...

The Ashram is a true sanctuary of peace amongst big touristy hotels and cruiseships. The faciltiies are clean and the food is absolutely delicious! I recommend participating in the yoga activities to get the full ashram experience. Great for people looking for an on-site yoga experience or looking to initiate themselves to yoga. The setting is absolutely beautiful! And the...

I stayed at Atlantis hotel nearby. A little google this place came up with great review. It took me quite a while to figure it out how to walk over ..... there is no road lead to it, but you have to walk from the beach. All the search is worthwhile. I came back next day for morning yoga practice,...
