this is a super luxurious resort that has all the bells and whistles. The service is outstanding, the views are incredible, and the hotel has many amenities. as a guest of the hotel you can go to the very beautiful and elaborate water park (complimentary for all guests), there's a lot of water sports available at the beach, a flamingo conservatory, and the list keeps going... bottom line - this is an awesome resort, VERY RECOMMENDED
This is the most beautiful resort! The customer service is outstanding! From the time you enter all staff is constantly helpful and pleasant! The pool and beach staff are amazing! They caterer to all your needs making everyday absolutely perfect! Thanks to Andre,Jason and Charles for making the Horowitz Family so Happy. These three men went out of their way everyday . From finding chairs, to chicken nuggets for my daughter. The rooms are beautiful. So nicely decorated. The resort has so much to offer. You get want you pay for here. Yes, the food is expensive, but is was all excellent! Every meal was better than the next. For our first trip out of the United States, it was a perfect bubble they created! We will be back!
The whole Rosewood team was amazing!!! Our Butler service was exceptional and attentive to everything we needed . I would highly recommend the hotel and service to many people . We are looking forward to coming back again
This is the first time we stayed at a Rosewood property. We were excited to stay based on Rosewood's reputation. Our expectations were high and what we experienced exceeded our expectations. I am not one to write reviews but I feel compelled to do so in this situation. Simply put, our experience at the Rosewood Baha Mar was unrivaled. I have visited over 40 countries and stayed at premiere resorts all around the world for vacation and business. The Asian hotels usually take top billing for customer service. The title for best customer service belongs to the Rosewood Baha Mar staff. I want to call out a few names. First is Mohamed, the Assistant Director of Rooms. While his title is the Assistant Director or Rooms, you may also add concierge to it. My wife and I were having drinks at the bar area. He came over and inquired on our stay. We told him we were having a great time but having difficulty getting reservations for dinner at a few restaurants. With a smile he said he would look into it and after 15 minutes Mohamed got reservations for all three places we wanted. Every night we saw him he asked about our experience. Second is Shanecquar (I hope I spelled it correctly). She greeted us when we arrived and offered us drinks. Not only were the drinks a nice touch (and tasty), she made us feel welcome with her energy, warmth, and hospitality. First impressions are so important and she really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Third is Joe the pool attendant. We spent a lot of time poolside. He was amazing. We never had to look around for a chair, or someone to take our food/ drink order. Joe was always there to help us. Joe made us feel special by anticipating our need and remembering our names and room number. I call out 3 people but I can honestly say every staff member we came across was equally gracious and hospitable. It is clear to me that Rosewood Baha Mar pays attention to the people they hire and invests time and money to train them well. This says lot about the company culture and leadership. All that said, the stay was very expensive. The most we paid for a vacation. But I can tell you it was worth it and we'd do it again. Rosewood has earned our loyalty and we look forward to exploring other Rosewood properties.…
Rosewood was really pretty amazing & luxurious - higher cost aside. We stayed here for 1 week with close friends of ours, in celebration of my wife’s milestone birthday. Rosewood was beautiful inside and out, including the lobby, library-lounge, lush gardens, pools, beach, and guest rooms. We booked an Ocean View King, to get fuller views of the ocean and lush grounds. Read below for more details. Let’s break it down. Rooms - The Ocean View King we were assigned to was amazing. Certainly a WOW factor upon entry. So much square footage, it was worth the hype, exceeded our expectations, was nicely appointed, super comfortable bed, had a large patio with multiple seats and table, marble-tiled bathroom, large tub, and a shower fit for a king and queen (yes, both). And while we were eligible for a free upgrade upon arrival, our living quarters here would have been hard to beat. Restaurants - Rosewood has only 1 restaurant on site (Cafe Boulud), but it also has multiple bars & lounges that all serve food. Manor Bar was my favorite bar & lounge at Baha Mar, and was at Rosewood. In-room dining is always an option too. Daily breakfast is served in the Cafe Boulud restaurant, and may be included in your booking. There are SO many food choices at the Baha Mar resort. After trying 6 restaurants at Baha Mar, the best picks are Marcus, Costa, and Shuang Ba. We were disappointed with Katsuya, due to several customer service issues. We didn’t even try Carna after hearing bad reviews from other guests. Pools & Beaches - For Mr & Mrs T and our travel buddies, going to Rosewood Beach was the preference. They’ve got padded loungers, plus attendants to help with table and umbrella set-up. Maybe the best part is that Rosewood beach is exclusive to guests at Rosewood. They do serve food & beverages on the beach, but at times the service wasn’t quick enough. We kept telling ourselves, “island time”. Pools @ Rosewood were also great - two different pool areas, lots of seating, floats to borrow, a maintained a good vibe in general. We met some great people at the pool, as we tend to do. Entertainment - One of the top reasons to select Baha Mar in the first place is that there is SO much to see & do. Casino, waterpark, cigar bar, jazz club, rooftop bar, nightclub, pop-up live bands playing, golf, tennis, gym, pools, and beaches. There really is something for everyone here. We tried most of it. Jazz club was awesome. However, we were bummed that some venues were only open part of the week (like the rooftop bar at SLS & the BOND nightclub). They should be open all 7 days for what Baha Mar guests are paying. Drawbacks - Biggest issue at Baha Mar in general was the customer service. It was consistently lacking. All four of us got the impression that while employees were happy to take your money, they absolutely didn’t feel they had to work for it. So, if you are looking for a smile, a good attitude, prompt service, follow-up, and initiative, you’ll need to lower expectations before arrival. One suggestion for Baha Mar Management is to eliminate the automatic 15% tip on everything paid for and consumed on-property. Other thing to be aware of is the cost of everything here. Final thoughts - Rosewood Baha Mar was such a great place to spend an entire week at. And while we for sure paid more to be at Rosewood, we’re still glad we did. But, if we had brought younger kids with us, we may have gone with SLS. And then Grand Hyatt is best for larger families. Either way, make sure to pre-book your dinners each night. Otherwise, you’ll be standing in queues rather than enjoy the food. Happy travels!…
Our family of 8 spent a little over a week at the Rosewood resort at Baha Mar. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming! Made us feel like family. From Robin greeting us at checkin and immediately making us laugh, to Riccara making my 30th birthday beyond special and singing with us in the lobby, and Manny giving us all the best beach attention, we all felt special and beyond taken care of. Every single meal we ate was delicious, every drink we had was made to perfection, and the amenities and resort were so clean and nice! Every bar tender and server was beyond kind. We loved Kay at Carne and our waitress at Cleo ( I wish I remembered her name because she was great!).Our rooms were homey and we were made to feel we had everything we needed. We loved all the options everyday with many different pools to choose from, the beach front, or spending the day doing an activity (like swimming with the pigs)! We made sure to take advantage of everything the Baha Mar had to offer. If your are thinking about staying here… just book it. You won’t regret it!…
It’s a very nice resort with comfortable rooms, nice restaurants and a nice beach club. Keithan, the beach attendant would move our umbrella through out the day to make sure we were shaded. Anthony took our order everyday for lunch on the beach. We split the best mozzarella and onion cheeseburger I’ve ever had. The fish tacos are also amazing. Felicia at breakfast gave us great service at the French restaurant. They have complimentary gelato at the pool everyday at 3:30. They also have pool float to lounge on. I highly recommend this resort for couples and families that want a less crowded experience than the Hyatt next door. It does cost more, but you get what you pay for. Also, make dinner reservations in advance or you may not get a table.
We stayed recently for 3 days. Overall the Rosewood and staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. The hotel was pretty, the rooms lovely, the beds great. Really enjoyed the pool and staff who were over the top helpful. The hotel felt like it was not operating at full capacity, which was nice because I assumed it would be completely full. The other properties, SLS/Grand Hyatt were much more crowded and we got to avoid the crowds at the beach and private pool. My only advice would be to make reservations for dinner. We didn't - lucked out the first night, but had to sit at the bar for the next 2 nights. The restaurants didn't seem to operate at full capacity except at peak hours, I'm guessing staffing issues.
Spent a week here with three generations of family. Great rooms, service, food, and amenities and the star of the show for my five year old daughter was her time with the kids’ Explorer club. Ricardo, Eugenia, Felicia, and Kaelin made a fast and genuine relationship with her, took them to wonderful experiences from mini golf to kite flying to pizza making, to nature sanctuary and Bahamian cultural experiences that she loved. They sent her home with a framed photo of herself and a letter that she cherishes. Many thanks to the wonderful staff.
We absolutely love this hotel. My husband and I were there for a couples trip last year and we loved it so much that we decided to bring our 4 daughters back this summer. I can't say enough good things about the Rosewood, its a luxury resort that is serene and peaceful with an upscale feel and just walking distance from Baha Bay waterpark. The Kids Club is FREE and amazing! We sent our 3 youngest daughters there every afternoon (4 year old twins, + 6 year old) and they never wanted to leave! The women in the club were so sweet with our girls, they all bonded over the week and no one wanted to say goodbye. Crystal, Eugena, Felecia, Kaelin and Ricarra got to know my girls and it was so much fun for my husbad and i to get to relax knowing that our girls were having just as much fun at the kids club. Also, have to compliment George and the entire staff at the Adult/Fan pool. They went above and beyond every single day to make our experience 5 star. We are planning to bring our kids back every year (and stay even longer) and my husband and I already have plans to visit again in a few months for his birthday. You cant beat this place. Its truly the best of both worlds! (couples and family!)…
