Great place to get away. Great service. Nice people. Good Food. Love Beach should be called lonely beach as we had the entire beach to ourselves.

Near the airport and beach-front property. Small hotel with personal service and amazing food. A bit expensive to take a cab to go to Atlantis for after hours entertainment but would prefer to stay here rather than one of the mega hotels.
Will stay here...More

Spread the word. Compass Point has live music 3 nights/week, so you can stay at our property and not drive the 30 minutes to Atlantis.
Al the best.
We stayed here in September with our 9 year old daughter and absolutely loved our time! Our hut was on the water and the view was incredible. The beds were comfortable, and location was great. We spent 2 days at love beach and walked up...More
Just returned from our magic weekend at the Bahamas and were very glad we chose to stay at Compass Point. We wanted something away from the hub bub. We wanted something close to the water. We wanted a place we could chill. We got all...More
Our first visit was in June 1997. Since then we have stayed here 4 or 5 times. We have taken friends to lunch here while on a cruise stop. We are loyal visitors.

The beach in front of the resort at low tide has about 8 feet of sand between the steps to the beach and the water. At high tide, there is perhaps a few feet of sand. The beach to ocean access is always swimable. Bordering the resort to the west, is Love beach, which stretches more then a mile west.Iit is a sand beach, with ocean accesses that are sand in some spots, and rocky (ouch )access in other spots. Some guests prefer to jump off our dock into the ocean.

Compass Point is on the eastern end of Love Beach. On Love Beach is a popular locals bar, named Nirvana, that is a great place to visit and rents kayaks, although I recommend you visit there a day in advance of the rental date, to confirm they will have them for you. It is about a 1/2 mile walk, on Love Beach, to get to Nirvana from CP. There are CP owned beach chairs (colorful of course) on Love Beach. Realize your rooms private deck is on the ocean. If you choose an ocean front room, you may get splashed by the waves. Our pier, also has chairs. Buses will pick you up at he front entrance to CP, or more frequent pick ups occur if you walk 100 yards east, to Dinos conch stand, a photogenic spot with great local food and ambience. Blue Lagoon will pick you up at CP, although there may be an extra charge for this service.

Hello Nassau cruiser - Sorry for my delayed response. I am not aware of what day passes are offered on the cruise ships. We are a 30 minute taxi ride west from downtown ( or a slightly longer #12 bus ride ).We charge $20.pp plus vat for guests to use our property and our Love Beach access. Any food or drinks ordered are an additional charge. If you want a water park and fellow tourists, choose Atlantis. If you want local flavor, an ok beach and are prepared for a crowd that varies from spring break revelry, to a cruiser crowd only, choose Junkanoo beach, which has no charge to use. If you want a quiet day at a very pretty property ( read our reviews ) come spend the day with us. Whichever you choose, we hope you enjoy your visit.
