I travelled to Nassau and stayed in a 3-bedroom condo here in early March with a group of 8 guys, college students to 30's. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and it's right on a pretty waterway with a deck overlooking it. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us to sleep comfortably. It was stocked with toilet paper and everything in the kitchen, including the coffee maker, worked well. The wifi was also very fast. The owner, Mr. Delancy, was there to greet us upon arrival and took about a half hour to sit down with us and give a great overview of the island - things to do, places to eat, and even some history. He is very knowledgable and it was extremely helpful. The beach is about a 5 minute walk, a pretty nice walk, from the condos. There is a cool beach bar to go to here, complete with a volleyball course. We had 2 rental cars for the group, which were not expensive, and are pretty much necessary staying here - and made seeing the island and doing all our activities (boat charter, scuba diving) much easier. We were able to fit so much more in than if we had stayed at a resort without a car, while also having common area to hang out and space to cook food. We didn't end up spending much time during the day here, and could still make it over to Atlantis at night. There is a shopping center about a 5-10 minute drive away that has a grocery and liquor/beer store. I left $100 at the condos and Mr. Delancy was kind enough to Paypal me the amount upon finding it - have you ever had that happen at a hotel? If you stay here you will get a much more fun and complete Bahamas experience while also having the opportunity to do everything you would if you stayed at the much more expensive resorts. I highly recommend choosing these condos and renting a car over the other options on the island. Plus, the fish fry is on your way into downtown!…
Dealing with the management was great. They were helpful from my first email until I departed. They were available to assist every day but other than having some wonderful conversations were not needed. I was in a 3 bedroom unit. Each room had its own washroom making it a great location for friends to stay. The unit was clean and we were greeted upon arrival by Charlene. She assisted us to the unit and spent time to answer all of our questions. Located in Coral Harbor on the south west of the island, this Condo is away from the busy Nassau traffic. If you are wanting to get away and experience a secluded beach this spot is for you. If you are wanting to tour the island I would recommend a rental car or making arrangements with a local taxi driver for your needs. There are no taxi's travelling past but there is a phone in the unit to make local calls. I will definitely recommend them to friends and plan to visit them again on my next Bahamas adventure.…
stayed for 2 nights in march 2014...on our way to little deadman's cay on long island Charlene and Willie are the BEST hosts you could ask for. Charlene has answers to all your questions. this condo is in a residential neighborhood, very quiet and private. you will need a car, as it is about 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of down town and the airport. we new we weren't going to leave the property so we opted to get a taxi instead of a rental. ($35) just remember to stop at a store for grub and stuff before you let the taxi go. a private neighborhood beach across the street, that the locals don't use, so virtually you are on your own beach. there is one bar/rest. in walking distance. perfect spot if you've had enough of the tourist junk and just want to enjoy the bahamas and the water. we are anxious for our next visit! tell'em teresa sent you!…
The people are really friendly. The location is near the beach, not the most beautiful beach off the island, but almost private! The house is clean and there are enough clean towels. Great place to stay with a group. Not to expensive.
My husband and I stayed Thanksgiving week with two teenage boys. If you want to pretend you are in Vegas then go stay at Atlantis. But if you want to experience the real culture and people of the Bahamas then this is the place to stay, minutes away from the airport. Charlene the manager welcomed us on her day off and made sure we had everything we needed, she spent her own time giving us restaurant and tourist advice to keep us off the beaten path, which is our idea of a wonderful vacation. She always made us feel like her #1 client. Mr. Delancy, the owner, took us out on his own boat for a private snorkeling tour. We saw beautiful fish in three distinct environments, within minutes of the condo, enjoying front door service. The beds were comfortable, showers great, and you really felt at home and safe here. Although there was a little store and restaurant within walking distance, you need a car to get to other restaurants, national parks, snorkeling spots and a lovely wine store about a five minute drive away. The little local beach across the grass and down the path was great to go over and watch sunsets at the end of busy days. We throughly enjoyed our stay.…
