Absolutely perfect in every conceivable way! Dinner was absolutely fantastic and the waitstaff made it perfection. Once we were done with dinner, the staff suggested we retire to the lounge area. Tanya, the lounge singer has a sultry & memorizing voice. I've never seen someone smile so much, make direct eye contact with patrons, and be so effortlessly entertaining. Thank you Tanya !

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at the hotel (though we did not have a room there) dining in the restaurant as well as basking in the "Escape Nassau" experience. The restaurant is pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. From the moment we stepped on the property, we were welcomed by friendly and accommodating staff and enjoyed a very fine dining experience - that we enjoyed so much we returned again the next evening. The property (especially the lush jungle that surrounds the pool) is breathtaking. The pool area was well maintained and very clean. BY FAR the most impressive pool I have ever swam in - right down to every small tile. The staff were extremely polite and professional. By our last meal, we felt at home and amongst the company of old friends. We felt so fortunate to be able to indulge in such a little slice of heaven, and are especially grateful to those who went out of their way to ensure a wonderful experience. This was my second time here and we both agreed we would be back sooner than later. The walk from and to our hotel was a little cherry on top - strolling through the bougainvillea lined streets past the homes and churches that make up the local culture of Nassau. Would highly recommend!

Started the romantic evening in the lounge with Graycliff's signature drink. Moved to the dining room for tuna tartar appetizer, ] Porterhouse steak, and signature Grand Mariner Souffle. How to cap off a wonderful evening? Listening to pianio performance by Tanya Hanna in the lounge. AMAZING. Graycliff Cigars and tour of the wine cellar topped off the evening.

Omg! What an experience. This beautiful 270 year old manor house (originally built by pirates ‍☠️) is really something to behold. Unparalleled service in the restaurant - special thanks to Glinton. The sultry voice of Pam on the piano in the lounge lulls you into an age-gone-by; while we sipped expert crafted champagne cocktails and old fashions. We were so impressed with dinner, my husband and I treated ourselves to an anniversary treat of night in one of the 20 guest rooms - each more charming and old-world than the last! A shout out to Monique and Teisha for an experience NOT TO BE MISSED!!

I booked the hotel for 5 nights none refundable. and left the hotel after the second night. The hotel room was dark, and smelly. The hotel needs attention. The shower ran cold after 5 mins. I called the front desk, and the lady told me they would send someone to check but no one showed up. The bathroom needs to be cared for and cleaned with details. The showerhead is rusty, corners are dirty. The AC was super loud. I took my preteen daughter there, the first thing we were told was don't go out after 5 pm(super bright), not walk to the beach, ( 10 mins away) because the security guards work from 7-5 pm. and after 5 pm is not safe. Then they told me if you want to withdraw cash from ATM in town is better to get a taxi and let the taxi driver wait for you outside. (15mins walking from the hotel) If you go to the restaurant, also keep the driver's phone number and call him when you want to come back to the hotel. (6 pm still bright) My daughter and I felt uncomfortable in th environment. The breakfast was horrible. The dinner was ok and some of the staff were nice. We checked out after the second night and checked into Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. It was day and night. The food was amazing. The enclosed beach and swimming pool were super nice. If you are traveling with family. Baha Mar is the place to go.

Food was lovel, staff were friendly but couldn't hear them behind their masks.. Pam singing and playing the piano was absolutely enchanting. the decor is very antique and Creole in style .. definitely an experience we won't forget. quite expensive so be prepared to pay over the odds for unusual evening.

Wanted to stay since we were eating dinner at the restaurant and wanted to easily enjoy drinks a cigar and retire when ready. Restaurant is reviewed separately. Service was very good. Reception, bell staff, and all staff very friendly and interested in our experience. Other hotels could learn from them. The hotel itself is tired. Yes it’s historic. However there are areas that’s are just unkempt. That’s not history, that’s lack of attention to detail. The room was large. Temperature control was good. Lighting in the rooms were poor. Bed was firm (too firm for me but your mileage will vary). We had two large bottles of water one cold in the fridge and one outside for the coffee provided. There was a Kuerig machine that was unplugged that required one to get on the floor to unplug one of the lights to plug it in. There was no cream for coffee. Bathroom was fine. Shower water pressure was almost nil. Included toiletries were very nice. Pool area was ok but no towels or service. There was a smaller pool that was not cleaned. I will likely be back for dinner but not likely back to stay the night.

We stayed three nights at this truly unique Nassau family owned hotel - such history! A private sanctuary with topical gardens and a spectacular Olympic sized tile swimming pool. Our spacious room with a large bathroom overlooked downtown Nassau and we could see the cruise ships in the harbor. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Graycliff Restaurant - we were totally blown at their wine cellar, the third largest in the world! They also make Cuban cigars and hand made chocolates. The lobby area and piano bar did allow cigar smoking but it didn't bother us!

When headed to Nassau most may run to the Baha Mar properties and the craziness of Atlantis. No need! My husband and I traveling with friends during Thanksgiving. Friends stayed at loud over crowded property while we relished in this Oasis right in the heart of the city. The grounds are dated and statues broken but it’s exactly those flaws that make this place times less and perfect. As a world traveler and chef you know I’m going to be critical of the food. This place is on point delicious. The morning pastries and breads are divine. Steaks amazing pastas delightful and seafood a must. Minutes from city center and shopping. Graycliff and it’s staff was exactly what we needed to escape LA Covid blues. They follow strict guidelines and social distance mask and gloves but still so amazing. The cottage by the pool is the best! Pool is gorgeous and staff super friendly. Don’t forget to grab some hand rolled cigars and homemade chocolates. Safe travels. This will be my go to every time!
