After being at another resort for a conference, my husband and I moved to the British Colonial Hilton to stay a couple days for some R&R and used our Hilton points. Although not the big resort, it was exceptionally clean, the service was excellent, and the drinks were strong.

My family & I just wrapped up an incredible day at this place. I would absolutely come back here for an extended stay. Minor negatives- WiFi is 🤷🏼‍♂️🙄 but. I haven’t had it all week, so what’s 1 more day. Also- the beach is meh. But. The positives far outweigh any minor

Hotel is in bad condition, needs major renovation. Service is extremely slow, and they try to up charge you for everything. Not worth the $. There are much newer and cleaner resorts for the same price.

Visited this hotel many times. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I lost my jacket a couple of days ago and Errol very kindly searched to find it for me when I had given up. This is typical of the helpful nature of all the staff at the hotel. Breakfast is also

They have a Concierge lounge also. Great view but limited options for breakfast (hard boiled eggs and light fruit/yogurt).

Is this hotel directly on the beach?
Yes, it is. There is a pool and an area at the beach.

Is there an airport shuttle?
There are a cooperative of taxis assigned to this hotel.( I can’t remember the name saint something. but their logo is four hands daisy chained) Since Uber left the country, your best option is call the hotel and request to be picked up. Be aware taxi vehicles are not equipped with a device to measure the amount to pay, so the amount is calculated by the driver. In the other hand taxis usually accept credit card.

"I would say stay away from the left side facing the beach. There's construction next door @ that side of the building."
"East side of the building closer to Senor Frogs, noisy at night. West side closer to the construction site, noisier during the day."
"Room with ocean views, and access to Executive lounge"
"Avoid 2nd floor if you have mobility issues or large bags due to stairs"
"Contact the hotel prior to your arrival and request to be away from construction"
