I stayed in a twin room with my eight year old son. On arrival there was no one to let us in. My mobile battery died en route so I missed two calls from the hotel, one to ask what time we were arriving (I did say what time we would be arriving on booking.com) and the second advising me...

We booked over a week ago, as visiting our daughter at uni, only to be told early evening that our room wasn't available any more, it had been double booked. We had even spoken and clarified our arrival details earlier in the day. We had driven 5 hours . We had even submitted our credit card details.

We had a good three night stay with a comfy bed, hot shower, spacious bathroom and bedroom and a fridge in the room which was very useful. Easy key card...

We only booked for one night as we were passing through and looking up a friend. We were met at the door, recognised as we had phoned to say we would be later than anticipated, and after signing in were taken to our room. We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and general brightness of the place, and our room...

My friend and I stayed for three nights for our 2-day walking mini-break. We had a lovely clean, spacious, pretty and well-equipped (even a fridge!) room. Fantastic hot shower which worked really well. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. We'll be staying there again, for sure!
