The Pros Beautiful property with colorful flowers and foliage everywhere. It's paradise really. It's not a corporate property but is well maintained. Staff are visible at all times and there are visible security people roaming the property. The view is excellent over Magens Bay from the upper pool and bar areas. The pool is actively cleaned and maintained with a... More

For a young couple, Magen's Point/Flamboyan on the Bay was the perfect getaway. We were there during the off-season and basically had the resort to ourselves. The staff was super attentive and told us about all the local hot spots so we could avoid town when the cruises came in. Getting around: It is secluded, so we had to take... More

The room was a little dated and could have been cleaner but the friendly staff and excellent pools and restaurant made up for it very quickly. Small, friendly and all in all a great place to vacation. Lucy, the activities director was first rate.

We had a 2 bedroom that was very spacious and very clean with great views of Magens Bay. The maids do a great job of cleaning--so clean! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Tennis courts are in good shape! The location is great--with a car you can get anywhere on the island within a few minutes. We stayed here for 20... More

We got this place through an affiliate of our timeshare. This place needs a lot of upgrades. The room was old and things were broken and had mold on it! The AC unit was very loud and kept us up at night all night, but if you turned it off the room got too hot!! Our room faced Magen's Bay... More

When we checked in there was nobody to help with the bags so I grabbed a baggage cart but only made it a short distance before there were 3 stairs going down. I looked and 10 feet later there were three more going up. 10 feet further and there were another 20 going up. No elevator so I had to... More

We booked this resort through a time share. The resort is on the north side of the island, around locals. It is an older resort; however, we felt very comfortable there. It has a casual feel to it. We stayed on the first floor. The room was a little small, but we didn't mind. we had a mini kitchenette with... More

The staff was phenomenal... helped with planning excursions and transportation, as well as made great recommendations for meals. The activities director had family friendly activies planned. The onsite coffee shop and bar were great. This is our new "go to" vacation getaway. Below are pictures of the view from our room.

Listen, as long as you know EXACTLY what you're in for, it's fine. But don't go in with any grand expectations. The resort is dated, the rooms are extremely dated. But it's clean, and the grounds are well maintained. Our unit stayed cooler than any hotel room I've ever had, which we loved. There is a tennis court, which we... More

I took this trip solo and wound up having a great time. My studio room was a bit dated, but very comfortable and worked well for my needs. The resort overlooks Megans Bay, which can be seen from many locations and makes for a nice sunset photo op. The pool area was great and Shenanigan's Sports Bar, which is poolside,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Magens Point is a two and a half star, unpretentious and very relaxed resort facing Magens Bay. Our facilities include two restaurants, one Italian finer dining featuring a wine-mojito bar, and the pool sports bar with burgers, bbq, pizza and sandwiches. We offer two jacuzzis, tennis courts, a coffee-deli-wine on site shop with breakfast, a gaming room, a small fitness center offering also yoga, zumba and massage services. All our studios and villas have been tastefully redone, and are fully equipped with kitchenettes, microwaves and small fridges, plus energy efficient air conditioning units. Most units also face Magens Bay, and you can wake up to spectacular views of the bay, or watch the sun set from your balcony while sipping the cocktail of your choice.Last year RCI awarded us recognition for excellence in hospitality services, and since 2010 we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading our facilities. We may not be for everyone, true. But if you are looking for that "limin" effect that locals brag about.. come stay with us. We promise you an unforgettable experience. Magens Point is what the islands should be all about. ... more   less
