This is a very relaxing place to stay. Staff is personable and welcoming. The restaurant on the premises, Three Sheets, is excellent. Pools, grounds, and rooms are clean and comfortable. Our best to Viola, Amber, and Laurie

If you are looking for a relaxing, laid back vacation, this is the place. They were very friendly and helpful, just not a lot to do at the resort itself. A rental car is a must. The resort is older, but it was clean and well maintained. You can tell that they are working hard at it. Bring some good...

The Flamboyan on the Bay is a nice place for a few days or longer. Good restaurant and bar around the upper pool. Our room was a studio, and accordingly was small. It had all the amenities you needed, but was narrow and therefore cramped. This is a statement, not a complaint toward the hotel, as I choose that room....

We arrived and were greeted with a friendly and helpful staff explaining all the functions and amenities of the property. The view from our balcony was gorgeous and overlooked Megan's beach one of the top ten beaches in the world. There are two fresh water pools with plenty of room for lounging and two hot tubs. The restaurant on the...

Escaped the cold the week after Thanksgiving. Had never been to St. Thomas before. Everyone seems to know this place as Magens Point, but the name is Flamboyan now. A little hard to find at first, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of the roads on the island, they are poorly marked, but locals are very helpful...

The Pros Beautiful property with colorful flowers and foliage everywhere. It's paradise really. It's not a corporate property but is well maintained. Staff are visible at all times and there are visible security people roaming the property. The view is excellent over Magens Bay from the upper pool and bar areas. The pool is actively cleaned and maintained with a...

For a young couple, Magen's Point/Flamboyan on the Bay was the perfect getaway. We were there during the off-season and basically had the resort to ourselves. The staff was super attentive and told us about all the local hot spots so we could avoid town when the cruises came in. Getting around: It is secluded, so we had to take...

The room was a little dated and could have been cleaner but the friendly staff and excellent pools and restaurant made up for it very quickly. Small, friendly and all in all a great place to vacation. Lucy, the activities director was first rate.

We had a 2 bedroom that was very spacious and very clean with great views of Magens Bay. The maids do a great job of cleaning--so clean! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Tennis courts are in good shape! The location is great--with a car you can get anywhere on the island within a few minutes. We stayed here for 20...

We got this place through an affiliate of our timeshare. This place needs a lot of upgrades. The room was old and things were broken and had mold on it! The AC unit was very loud and kept us up at night all night, but if you turned it off the room got too hot!! Our room faced Magen's Bay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is a two and a half star, unpretentious and very relaxed resort facing Magens Bay. Our facilities include two restaurants, one Italian finer dining featuring a wine-mojito bar, and the pool sports bar with burgers, bbq, pizza and sandwiches. We offer two jacuzzis, tennis courts, a coffee-deli-wine on site shop with breakfast, a gaming room, a small fitness center offering also yoga, zumba and massage services. All our studios and villas have been tastefully redone, and are fully equipped with kitchenettes, microwaves and small fridges, plus energy efficient air conditioning units. Most units also face Magens Bay, and you can wake up to spectacular views of the bay, or watch the sun set from your balcony while sipping the cocktail of your choice.Last year RCI awarded us recognition for excellence in hospitality services, and since 2010 we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading our facilities. We may not be for everyone, true. But if you are looking for that "limin" effect that locals brag about.. come stay with us. We promise you an unforgettable experience. Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is what the islands should be all about. ... more   less
