After reading several reviews about At home in the Tropics, the expectations for the stay were very high. The expectations were more than fully meet - and we can really recommed to choose At home in the Tropics. It is without doubt that if we go to St.Thomas again we will stay At home in the Tropics. In the morning... More

I just spent the most relaxing few days I've had in a while at At Home In The Tropics. My mom and I visited for 3 nights, and we enjoyed this trip so much. We were able to walk to town, take a ferry to St. John, shop for jewelry and then take a dip in the pool to rejuvenate.... More

Based on Trip Advisor ratings and comments, my wife and I chose to stay here for our first time visiting St. Thomas; we were not disappointed. Pam and Matt have a great location for their B&B, on a hill right in the midst of the historic district, with a good view of the harbor and surrounding area. The room and... More

This was our second visit to At Home in the Tropics and it was as wonderful as the first. Pam and Matt are fabulous hosts and make their guests feel so welcome. Pam prepares a delicious breakfast each morning. The inn is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view in a great location. We love the pool and surroundings.... More

The At Home in the Tropics bed and breakfast is the best one I have ever stayed in. The room is is amazingly clean, with fresh beddings, sheets, towels changed everyday. Breakfast is organic, healthy, nutritious, delicious and personally served and home cooked. It's a home away from home. Pam and Matt treats you like family, yet in a respectful,... More

This was my first experience with a B&B and what a wonderful discovery. I loved my stay here. The inn is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and every room has a breathtaking view. Pam and Matt are superb hosts--friendly and helpful and seem to think of everything to make their guests comfortable. The breakfasts were delicous and kept us going through... More

We were on our way home from Trotola and spent two nights. We should have made more time available. The location is great, the food is the best we have ever had at a B&B and the owners/host are more than accomodating. They have developed and continue to develop a very wonderful and comfortable "Home in the Tropics. When we... More

Perfect place to stay - great value in the off-season (5th night free) - SO much cheaper than resorts on the island. Location is OK - 5-10 minute walk (up & down a large hill w/ steps) to local restaurants but the VI taxi association is always a second away and can take you anywhere (very reliable! Used them all... I have been to many bed and breakfasts, and this was by far the best. Pam and Matt were amazing hosts, providing information on where to go, what to see, and most importantly what to eat. The breakfasts that they made were great! The selection of food they provided each morning was huge, and they made accommodations for those with... More
