Located on hill close to town. Easy walk to CYOA for our charter. Excellent restaurant in town as well laid back bar on site. Delightful stay with owners on site. Cordial, helpful in providing directions about town. Stayed for a few nights prior to and after our sailing charter. Looking forward to return visit this year.

I'm very late writing this review, but better late than never! My family and I stayed here back in July and had a wonderful time, it was the perfect spot for us! The staff were so kind to us. Our daughter was 6 months old at the time, and when we arrived the owner left immediately to go purchase a pack n' play for her! The view was great, we enjoyed relaxing on any of the many patios and looking out at the island. The location is great, walking distance to plenty of great spots. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Monchy was amazing from beginning to end- we took over the entire bed and breakfast which has 8 rooms. AC is cold, bathrooms are clean, bedding is comfortable and the view is breathtaking! good price, super nice people. gave great recommendations for dining and even helped us all get to the ferry dock on Sunday morning. highly recommend this for an off the beaten path down island experience.

I found this gem on a brief stopover from the BVI back to the US mainland. The location was perfect - a short (but steep!) walk from the ferries/US Customs and a quick ride to STT the following day. The room was simple, but had all the right perks - AC, WiFi, and a nice breakfast on the breezy veranda overlooking the bay. Even the resident cat and dogs were welcoming. Special thanks to the managers for an unexpected ride to the airport!

Set your watch back to the 1940s when you stay here. One almost expects to see Peter Lorre and Sidney Greenstreet discussing the whereabouts of a Black Bird on the patio over a rum drink. This is a great place to stay and a welcome relief from a standard chain hotel room. Ours was very clean and the view of the harbor from our private patio couldn't be beat. The staff was friendly and more than happy to recommend restaurants, arrange for transportation and such. Next time we find ourselves in Charlotte Amalie we are staying here without question. Loved it!!
