Staff was nice. However, it's tough for them to make it a great stay when they can't control the way the place is maintained. Broken chairs. Beds are small. Lots of stairs, which could be cool if the place was maintained well. Breakfast was nice. Great location; however, everything was closed after 6 p.m. downtown. Seems like a lot of...

This was my second stay at Bunker Hill hotel, and we were perfectly satisfied. The rates are terrific, and the accomodations are comfortable. The staff are all so friendly. Hot breakfast is free, and there is a restaurant on site for evening drinks and dinner. I prefer doing business with the little guys, and this family has me covered for...

Room was grubby, not clean, poor A/C, lots of mosquitoes, and they wouldn't refund when we wanted to leave the next day! They acted shocked when we complained! Poor neighborhood! We would not go there again.

If you are elderly or have trouble walking or climbing stairs, move on to the next hotel. Bunker Hill Hotel is a budget hotel and if you like the jewelry shopping that all of the cruise folks visit, then it sits right where you want to be. It's a short walk to shopping and restaurants and taxi cabs. The Good:...

Read mixed reviews so not sure what to expect. It is an older building, a little run down - but perfect location to Charlotte Amalie and 5-10 min from airport. When you stand on the balcony you can hear all the locals chatting below - definitely felt more immersed in the culture. Room was very simply decorated, bed was comfortable...

Quick overnight stay before catching the ferry in the am. Entrance is really drab and hotel is definitely old and run down. Rooms are very stripped down and simple. Got a double room, which meant one bed for two adults. Room was clean and the bathroom was adequate. Bedroom windows' glass was broken and repaired with duct tape. Shower handles...

I stayed here at the Bunker Hill for three days. My room was very large with a balcony that over looked the roof tops of town. The wifi worked great. The complimentary breakfast in the morning made fresh to order was ample for the start of the day. The entire place was clean and the staff very friendly. I am...

I stayed here with my family this summer and was pleasantly surprised. We had two simple rooms with a balcony and small fridge overlooking the hills. The breakfast was fine and there is a restaurant if you want dinner there. There is a very small pool which is pleasing to look at and that's about it. We were able to...

If you’re looking for the Marriot or Hilton, don’t go to this quaint and very comfortable hotel. If you’re looking to stay in a place with a deep history and very affordable accommodations please go to the Bunker Hill Hotel. I stayed there for one night prior to arriving at my resort hotel. They hotel was very clean and a...

If you happen to like the glitzy flash of Las Vegas hotels, or the sanitized blandness of Marriot hotels, the Bunker Hill Hotel is not for you. I know it's odd to review a hotel based on it's clientele, but our stay at the Bunker Hill brought my attention to the fact that the guests were people who appreciated something...
