Emerald Beach Resort is a small beachfront resort with each room facing the beach. The bay is expansive and the resort offers a variety of water sports. we took advantage of the jetskis. One day did an organized tour and another day just went out to explore the bay. It has the true essence of the island with a down to earth atmosphere. Food, drink and service are wonderful. My wife and I found it a great environment to relax and recoup from a very hectic life style. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Actually, we found everyone we met on the island to be friendly. The island offers a large variety of things to see and do. Magens Bay is a high spot for sure. There are so many other things to see and do. Then there is St John which is a short ferry ride and so much to see and do. I highly recommend Emerald Bay Resort. We will be back!

Beautiful and convenient. No hot water, but that didn't cause any problems for me as a solo guest. I would not have wanted my family to have no hot water. Caribbean Fusion was about to close the night I arrived. BLT was the easiest item on the menu. Great BLT. I would like to have tried other dishes, but did not give Fusion another try.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long birthday weekend getaway. It was a wonderful experience! First off, super easy to find as it’s right of the airport road. The room was spotless. House keeping was so sweet (we met her) and did a stellar job, and during these times that’s so important to me. The view was amazing, we were facing the beach, I actually watched a wedding along with other people on their own balconies, it was so sweet, everyone cheered! Breakfast was so good! I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, toast, sausage and potatoes. (The potatoes were amazing!) Good strong coffee and of course an “island pour” Bloody Mary! All the staff were friendly and accommodating but I want to highlight Paul our server at breakfast. The service, conversation and jokes were impeccable. 100% would stay here again and highly recommend to friends. Perfect vibe for a beach weekend!

My girlfriend and me stayed at the Emerald beach resort last weekend and had an amazing time. We wanted to get away for the weekend and this hotel was perfect for just that. The people working the front desk was nice and helpful. Rooms were very comfy. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and it was amazing. The waiter Paul really makes you feel at home. In the end will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone.

Let me start off by saying if your on a budget this place is not bad at all, but if you are on the fence of spending $80-$100 more a night to upgrade I would go with the other place The beach is beautiful and you will never get tired of the veiw but it is very much a “public” beach and you will encounter locals a lot. I must say most locals we encountered were friendly and just wanted to say hi. The rooms are dated but again if on a budget they have everything you need. You will have a 50:50 shot of getting a gorgeous veiw or a veiw blocked by palm trees. If possible ask for something in the 3rd floor Everything we ate at the restaurant was delicious. I recommend the bbq pizza it was so good! The bar isn’t terrible at $8 a drink, but you only need 1 or 2 because they are insanely strong. Every bartender we had was personable and friendly. Overall it’s dated and you will see a lot of locals walking the beach. But on a budget the beach and veiw from the beach are truly amazing.
