We stayed here in April 2013 in a room that shared a bath with one other room. Ours was located on the same floor as the open air lobby, 51 stairs above the street entrance (not a big deal to us!) There were lovely views of the ocean and Charlotte Amalie from the reception terrace, and a partial ocean view...

The owners of this B and B are welcoming, helpful, and do their best to make sure your stay is comfortable. You can't beat the location. Close to historical sites, shopping and easy access to ferry's. I had made a mistake in my booking, arrived a day early, and they were gracious, even upgraded the room at no charge even...

I can't believe anyone would have anything negative to say about the Galleon House. This was one of the most positive experiences in all of my travels...you will be hard pressed to find a kinder, more genuine staff, ANYWHERE!!! Big deal, there are a few steps to climb...exercise is good for you. And if you are not physically able to...

First, a caution: many stairs, no elevator. As Charlotte Amalie is built on hillsides almost no building is on level ground. Exceptions being the airport and the docking areas. That said, the Galleon house is in a perfect location, and staff will help with luggage. Close to everything in the downtown, walking to shops, restaurants, and activities is a breeze....

Wonderful B&B overlooking Charlotte Amalie. We stayed one night as a jump-off point to our vacation week in the BVI. It was so charming, we booked for our last night in St. Thomas before flying back home. The rooms are quaint and unique--- like your staying with a funky-hip grandma. We arrived late in the evening (10:45) but beautiful Yoanna...

The worst hotel I've been in my life. It must have more than 10.000 steps. I advise people to old, don't go to this Hotel. The check-in does not occur before 7 pm. all people arriving has a horrible surprise. The person who answers the Hotel is already accustomed to overlook guests

This was the best place I have ever stayed. To return to a welcome back after spending a day in paradise is awesome. I would be willing to climb a mountain in order to receive the kind and caring treatement we received at The Galleon House. Not an act. They are trully kind and considerate. Beth and I will surely...

Nice bed and breakfast. We stayed in the basic room which is simply 4 walls big bathroom, cable, fridge, and ac. No window. However, there are many rooms with great view and balconies. Great customer service and very polite. They took care of every request from private taxi being Nathaniel who was always on time. It is right next to...

Stayed at the Galleon House the night before and the night after a sailing trip. Rates are reasonable for St. Thomas, will book 1 night at a time in peak season (many places require 3 nights), view is terrific, decent cooked to order breakfast is included. Rooms are dated but satisfactory if you don't plan to spend much time in...

The number one thing to know about Galleon House is there are lots and lots of stairs. I have sciatica and really wish we had known before we showed up. There were four flights of stairs to the registration area and four more flights to our room and they were steep. The staff did help with luggage but it was...
