I just stayed at the Waves for two wonderful weeks. Laura, her family and the amazing people who work there made it a wonderful stay. The closeness to the beautiful sea where your balcony is just over the crushing waves, I think you will find few hotels in the world that can beat that. The chef makes the most delicious...

My wife and I have stayed at the Waves both in 2015 (the engagement) and 2016 ( the honeymoon) and have had nothing but wonderful experiences at the Waves. Great view of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing below, and good food at the restaurant. Looking at the negative review before this one made me want to write...

My wife and I booked our stay through cheaptickets.com where the hotel was rated a 3 star whereas the Renaissance Carambola was 4 star and about $40 per night more. There didn't seem to be too much difference so we chose Waves at Cane Bay because it seemed less crowded and offered a more remote beach, I.e Cane Bay. We...

I have lived on stx for 17 years, only found the waves a few years ago, and I'm glad I did!!! The dining experience at the waves is second to none on stx, amazing!! Fine dining, with the waves crashing right by our table was phenomenal and our service from Dee, Evan and Lee was spot on! We all had...

The hotel is situated right on the waterline and the sound of waves is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the restaurant on-site is excellent (open 5 days a week). The dive shop is a very short walk away but otherwise you may want to rent a car to explore the island.

The location is great ....food is very good too....but the servers are totally unwelcoming, unfriendly and specialize in making you feel as if they can't stand you and are doing their best to tolerate you until they can go home. With friendly servers this place would be perfection

The view was amazing. The waves crash right up under the window. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The outdated kitchen either needed to be removed or redone. Our room was on the end over the bar. I would request not to be over the bar if you plan on retiring early. The price was right and...

We stayed in one of the larger rooms with a full kitchen and a giant private balcony, and it was absolutely perfect. The full kitchen allowed us to take home leftovers and make our own breakfasts, much to our liking. There were comfy lounge chairs on the balcony overlooking the waves crashing on the rocks below. There's also a tide...

One of our old time favorites, The Waves always pleases. With the perfect location overlooking the water at Cane Bay, one can get in a romantic mood with the moon shining over the sea and the waves crashing on the rocks while seated outdoors but under cover. We returned for the first time this trip to find the food still...

Head Chef Steven and Chef Hanna prepare some of the most delicious and remarkable cuisine which stands up to the best I've experienced anywhere in the World. I'm a major 'foodie' and not easily impressed; this - impresses. If you find youself on St. Croix, you must plan dinner here. Heck, you can even pick your own live lobster from...
