A boutique hotel set on the north shore of the island at Cane Bay. Laura, our host (the owner), was helpful and attentive. The rooms were large and well appointed. AC was cool and hot water was hot. King size bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a last minute trip planned and Laura( owner) was amazing at accommodating me. The rooms are big, the view is amazing and the balconies are very private. Huge waves crashing on the rocks all night, breeze through the double glass door-wall lets you know you are at the ocean. The staff was great and beach chairs, towels and...

This is a great place to stay with a local flare. The owner provides great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The natural white noise of the waves is so relaxing. It has been a great location to work when not in an office.

This restaurant is perched on rocks right on the water. The view is spectacular, looking out to sea and to the western most point of St. Croix. The view is matched by the cuisine, and there is a separate open air bar area, which is great for sunset drinks.

We stayed here for 1 night in January. The owner, Laura, was very sweet to us. She noticed we were from New England and started up a conversation about places she remembered from "back home". She was aghast that the bag with our clothes got lost by the airline and offered to let us do laundry if necessary (thankfully our...

This was our fifth stay at this boutique hotel, so I think that speaks for itself on how much we love it. We were lucky enough to stay for three weeks this time. The view, the sound of the waves all day and night, and the hospitality are outstanding. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen, so making...

I just stayed at the Waves for two wonderful weeks. Laura, her family and the amazing people who work there made it a wonderful stay. The closeness to the beautiful sea where your balcony is just over the crushing waves, I think you will find few hotels in the world that can beat that. The chef makes the most delicious...

My wife and I have stayed at the Waves both in 2015 (the engagement) and 2016 ( the honeymoon) and have had nothing but wonderful experiences at the Waves. Great view of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing below, and good food at the restaurant. Looking at the negative review before this one made me want to write...

My wife and I booked our stay through cheaptickets.com where the hotel was rated a 3 star whereas the Renaissance Carambola was 4 star and about $40 per night more. There didn't seem to be too much difference so we chose Waves at Cane Bay because it seemed less crowded and offered a more remote beach, I.e Cane Bay. We...

I have lived on stx for 17 years, only found the waves a few years ago, and I'm glad I did!!! The dining experience at the waves is second to none on stx, amazing!! Fine dining, with the waves crashing right by our table was phenomenal and our service from Dee, Evan and Lee was spot on! We all had...
