I’ve stayed here a few times. This is a great spot. The condos are very nice. It is relatively quiet which is what I look for when I get away but it is near anything you need. You can walk to a few great restaurants nearby (Bay Bistro, Parallel at the Palms, Hemingway’s) and a short cab ride to others in town. The beach is beautiful and Loxley the beach attendant did a great job. Always called me by name and knew the services I was interested in (extra towels and a quiet area to set me up). He was great. Tell him I said hello! Jack

The Somerset is basically a group of condos, ranging in size from 4 to 1 bedroooms, right on Grace Bay. We rented a one bedroom condo and found it extremely roomy, with great kitchen appliances and equipment. The staff at the pool/lunch/bar are incredible as are the young men who help on the beach. The grounds are well kept and the pool and beach perfect. There are plenty of chairs on the beach and around the pools for guests, unlike some other places we have stayed. We would definitely go back.

I didn't stay at the Somerset, but went to the Beach BBQ on Tuesday. A definite MUST GO! This was wonderful! Cost was $55 plus all the taxes, for a diet coke, ended up at $73. You can get lobster for an additional $10. The food was WONDERFUL! Grilled shrimp, jerk chicken, sirloin steak, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, rice/beans, grilled veggies, potato salad, salad, foccacia bread. Something for everyone! Drinks are extra, including soda and tea. They had a well stocked bar. Dessert was small brownies and fruit. They had a DJ playing music the whole time. Then they had a fire dancer guy! The kids loved him! Then we had dancing after that. There was also a large bonfire to side. The weather was unbelievable for our bbq! So worth it! This hotel was BEAUTIFUL!

We stayed in an Ocean View Estate 3 bedroom and the accommodations were top notch. Our room was clean, had all the necessities and the most beautiful view of the ocean. The pools were wonderful option for our small kids, with a no entry pool as well as a slow access pool. The pool staff was great. AJ might be the happiest person we've ever encountered in our travels. Nadine is wonderful with the kids and the pool service was excellent. Lunch at the pool is great, and the breakfast included is perfect. A la carte omelets and pancakes in addition to the buffet. The concierge is very helpful with reservations and recommendations what to do. An easy bike ride to the local grocery. We will be back!

What an unforgettable trip to The Somerset. My husband and I had visited Turks before but this was our first trip with our 4 kids, ages 18, 17, 14, 10. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean villa. It was more than enough room for our family. Beautifully decorated with a state of the art kitchen. An enormous wrap around balcony, with a grill. I can't say enough about the staff at The Somerset. Everyone from the front desk and housekeeping, to the waiters, waitresses, and beach staff were wonderful. Polite, friendly, accomodating. Loxley at the beach was the BEST. Always setting our large family up with chairs and umbrellas. Giving us tips, pointing us in the right direction whether with dining options or snorkeling trips. We never had to wait for a drink or beachside dining with the exceptional staff readily available. Sara at Barbetta was wonderful at breakfast. We will certainly be back, our kids were so sad to leave, as were we. Thank you for a memorable trip.

Room Tip: We had an ocean "view" villa, that overlooked the pool, with a limited view of ocean.
