The Somerset exceeded our expectations. From the friendly greeting at check-in to walking into our amazing suite/apartment, this was a perfect place to stay for 7 days. Suite included 2 large bedrooms with a full kitchen and living room that had a pull out sofa/bed, large enough for our 15yr. Plenty of chairs at the beach and pool even at 10-11am, there is no race or waking up at 6am to "save" beach chairs. Breakfast was included in our stay and was perfect, ranging from eggs, toast & bacon to french toast w fresh fruit. Restaurant on property was excellent as well as plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in PH5 which had an incredible view of the ocean and property.

Hotel's Favorite
What an unforgettable trip to The Somerset. My husband and I had visited Turks before but this was our first trip with our 4 kids, ages 18, 17, 14, 10. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean villa. It was more than enough room for our family. Beautifully decorated with a state of the art kitchen. An enormous wrap around balcony, with a grill. I can't say enough about the staff at The Somerset. Everyone from the front desk and housekeeping, to the waiters, waitresses, and beach staff were wonderful. Polite, friendly, accomodating. Loxley at the beach was the BEST. Always setting our large family up with chairs and umbrellas. Giving us tips, pointing us in the right direction whether with dining options or snorkeling trips. We never had to wait for a drink or beachside dining with the exceptional staff readily available. Sara at Barbetta was wonderful at breakfast. We will certainly be back, our kids were so sad to leave, as were we. Thank you for a memorable trip.

Room Tip: We had an ocean "view" villa, that overlooked the pool, with a limited view of ocean.

I can’t say anything bad about The somerset on the contrary everything was beyond amazing! Every person we encountered was so kind and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and we are already planning our return. The units were spacious and well appointed. Such a great place to go with the family. We stayed in a 1 bedroom that had an extra loft which was fun for our 3 year old to play and it could be her room too but she preferred the downstairs area to sleep. All in all our family vacation was a huge hit. The beach was perfection and definitely one of the top beaches I’ve been to. Anything and everything we wanted was available. Pool chairs were easy to grab in the morning. The pool was beautiful. They even allowed us a late check out being that we had a late flight. We love The Somerset and we will be back soon.

We just got back yesterday from a great week at Somerset in the heart of Grace Bay,close to everything! Grounds were in good shape and the pool (s) are some of the best on the island! They have a long lap style pool that comes down then an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. There are several loungers there with coverage from rain from the large umbrellas, also food/drink servers are plentiful and service was very good especially from A.J. at the pool, the front desk guys, breakfast restaurant staff, even down to the beach attendants, all went out of their way to make sure everyone was enjoying their time at the resort. This resort is less than five minutes from the shops at Salt Mills plaza and also the Graceway Gourmet grocery store,as well as several eateries within walking distance.Rooms were spacious and clean,we had an issue with our tv but was quickly taken care of with just a phone call.We will definitely be returning and am glad we chose to call this place home for a week!

If you want a wonderful experience of living in an ocean front property that comes with assigned parking, world class service, and luxury amenities, The Somerset is your best bet. I recommended this property to my friends who spent a week of fun and relaxation. Here's their feedback: "breakfast was great, accommodations were perfect, they enjoyed grilling on the patio, the pool was perfect for the kids, housekeeping and hotel staff deserve lots of praise, the property's Tuesday beach bbq was definitely one for the books". The only minor issue they had was their villa didn't have surround speakers connected. Here's a tip, you can reserve your seats for Barbetta's beach bbq before you arrive. The concierge will hold your reservation via Visa or MC only. Cost is $55 per adult and $20 for kids. Keep in mind that drinks, service fees and taxes are additional. Also, if you need to get in touch with the concierge and you don't get a response right away, keep trying. That desk seems a bit disorganized so you have to be persistent.
