My husband, I and my three children spent two wonderful weeks at the Somerset from December 14 to December 24. We had a fabulous time. The hotel staff was spectacular. A big shout out to the team at the front desk (Foster and his colleagues), as well as Sharon who did a great. job entertaining the children. The Beach and Pool staff were equally amazing. Chef Philippe and his team gave us delicious meals every day. It was one of our most memorable vacations and we can only think of coming back some day soon ! Thank you Somerset and Turks and Caicos.

What an unforgettable trip to The Somerset. My husband and I had visited Turks before but this was our first trip with our 4 kids, ages 18, 17, 14, 10. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean villa. It was more than enough room for our family. Beautifully decorated with a state of the art kitchen. An enormous wrap around balcony, with a grill. I can't say enough about the staff at The Somerset. Everyone from the front desk and housekeeping, to the waiters, waitresses, and beach staff were wonderful. Polite, friendly, accomodating. Loxley at the beach was the BEST. Always setting our large family up with chairs and umbrellas. Giving us tips, pointing us in the right direction whether with dining options or snorkeling trips. We never had to wait for a drink or beachside dining with the exceptional staff readily available. Sara at Barbetta was wonderful at breakfast. We will certainly be back, our kids were so sad to leave, as were we. Thank you for a memorable trip.

Room Tip: We had an ocean "view" villa, that overlooked the pool, with a limited view of ocean.

Our stay was so fantastic! The buildings, rooms, landscaping, beach, and everything in between was amazing. We had a 3 bedroom suite and the kitchen was top notch. We went down the road and got groceries from the supermarket and were able to have lunch and dinner on our own. There is a breakfast buffet complimentary that you can order pancakes from. The beach was quiet and not crowded at all. There is staff on the beach and pool to help you get set up. It is not a cheap hotel by any means, but if you want a vacation where everything is well kept and taken care of, this is for you.

This is my 2nd time at the Somerset in the past two years - Even during the global pandemic, the experience certainly did not disappoint! We stayed for 10 days in November/December 2020 and are absolutely amazed by the level of safety & professionalism displayed by the resort staff & island in general. As previous reviews mention, the location on the island is unbeatable. We were able to see amazing nightly sunset views and walk on the beach to other resorts, restaurants/bars, and snorkeling sites. The staff is extremely accommodating & friendly, with top notch attention to the resort's luxury details & customer service. The staff gave us great island recommendations (Island Vibes boat rental) and called cabs promptly for our dinner reservations. We were amongst two other families at the resort during our stay, which allowed for great social distancing. Our unit (residence 4) was beautiful - the kitchen was fully stocked for nights in, and the WiFi was perfect for working from home during 5/10 of the days. The residence was extremely clean & well-stocked with toiletries, towels, and even books/games. What an amazing vacation - even in 2020. We will definitely be back as soon as possible and are hopeful for the staff that tourists will begin to understand the cleanliness & safe atmosphere on the island and return soon.

The Somerset resort is the perfect place to stay because its attention to detail, magnificent grounds, protected and secure property with stunning amenities. We just love hanging out by the infinity pool that flows to the beach, swimming in the lap pool, sailing, kayaking and stellar beach and pool service! But the very best is waking up in Residence 5 and living in Residence 5 !! Residence 5 is a townhouse decorated in the style that’s nautical and comfortable with high ceilings, big beautiful ceiling fans, great lighting. The floor design is so smart with the family room and kitchen area multi level so it feels and is spacious. Interesting to me, is I prefer being in the garden townhouse which is about 100 yards from the beach rather than being smack on the ocean because it allows me to appreciate and utilize the grounds, say hello to the lovely staff in the reception and I’m a breath away. It’s a 3 minute walk from the beach that gives me the most perfect place to stay!!
