We prepared this trip at the beginning of 2022 and we have to say that it was exactly what we expected amazing staff apart from 3 people we had a horrible experience as they did not know how to answer or answer our questions apart from that the pool is a quiet place the reception could be more welcoming and some drinks from the bars were given to us with poorly washed glasses but these things happen... otherwise it was a good experience
My husband and I recently stayed for a week at The Palms. From the minute we checked in until we left, our experience was wonderful. The resort was beautiful and the staff treated us as if we were celebrities. Ariker, the concierge, made dinner reservations for us for the entire week and always greeted us warmly when we were in the lobby. Irvina, who checked us in, gave us a tour of the resort and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was amazing and the hostess and servers, especially Reasa, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. All of the beach staff were gracious and efficient in getting us set up with chairs and umbrella and were friendly and courteous to everyone. Special thanks to Vega for making us feel like family. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and came back from the beach to find a beautiful chocolate cake in our room. Dinner at Pharrell 23 was delicious and Nicole went out of her way to make the celebration special. Our week at The Palms was wonderful and we are counting the days till we return. Heartfelt thanks to everyone for making this a magical vacation.…
We had such a wonderful vacation at the Palms! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Chrissy & her warm hospitality! We were served a delicious drink, as well. Chrissy went above and beyond during our entire stay to ensure that we had a stress-free & relaxing trip!
I recently stayed at The Palms for a belated birthday trip and had an overall amazing time. Starting off with the rooms- my boyfriend and I stayed in a junior suite, and considering it is The Palms' smallest and least expensive room, we were pleasantly surprised at the space. The bathroom is separated by a hallway from the bedroom, so it really opened up the space and made it seem huge. The king bed was plush and comfortable, and housekeeping always left the room in pristine condition each day. My one issue with our room was that the shower didn't get quite hot enough (was almost always lukewarm). This may have just been an issue with our specific room, but it didn't bother us enough to make a fuss. The resort itself is spacious and beautiful. We loved how the rooms were all separated into blocks. It minimized the noise and gave off a more resort feel. My boyfriend and I spent most of our time at the pool, which was always enjoyable. The water was just comfortably warm, and it had an expansive wrap around, so you never felt like you were too close to anyone. We were able to enjoy lunch service right from our chairs, which was great for whenever we didn't feel like getting up to go to the poolside restaurant. The only minor annoyance at the pool was how guests were able to reserve chairs. Many guests would put down towels earlier in the morning to reserve their spots and then not return until hours later or at all. This made it difficult to find open spots, as we didn't want to take anyone's seats. When we were able to find chairs, the pool staff was always extremely helpful with setting up umbrellas and laying out our towels for us. Lastly, the food at The Palms was consistent and tasty. Breakfast was served in a buffet style every morning in addition to an omelet bar. The choices were the same every morning which got kind of repetitive, but the food was always fresh and enjoyable. We mostly ate lunch at the poolside restaurant, and they provided enough options that we could try different things every day. For dinner, we ate either at Parallel 23 or L'Attitude Bar every night. We LOVED sitting at the bar- it was probably the highlight of our evenings. Dwane, who was our bartender every night, was very knowledgeable on his alcohol recommendations and was excellent conversation. The food at the bar was great when we were craving something simple, and Parallel 23 was great when we wanted something more upscale. Our stay at The Palms was amazing, but I am taking away one star for an experience we had at the front desk on our last night. My boyfriend and I approached the woman and gentleman sitting at the front desk asking if they would mind taking a photo of us, and we were met with an irritated look and an eye roll. We would've just forgotten about this, but after dinner that night, we had another similar experience back at the front desk. We again approached the woman at the front desk asking to reserve a taxi to take us to the airport the next morning. We knew that their were taxis on hand, but we wanted to make sure we had one ready so we wouldn't miss our flight. She rolled her eyes at us and told us we didn't need to reserve a taxi. As soon as we walked away, we looked back to see her giving us dirty looks with the gentleman also sitting at the front desk. Overall, 90% of the people we met at The Palms were kind and helpful. Hopefully, we just caught them on an off night. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Turks!…
We had a family trip to Turks and Caicos and stayed at The Palms and had a wonderful experience. The each was so nice and well kept--such soft sand and great service beach side as well as pool-side. Among all the family members who visited, many had opportunity to dine at the restaurants on site and had room service -- All top notch! The reason for our trip was to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. Working with the fabulous staff-specifically the Food & Beverage Coordinator, chefs and sommelier, helped me plan an awesome dinner with wine pairing on the beach. It was a beautiful setting with fantastic service, the menu was divine and the wine pairing exquisite. What a memorable night! Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Already planning to return. My husband works for a major airline so we travel a lot. It was our third time in Turks and we stayed at a boring resort and decided at the last minute to switch to The Palms. What a great choice. We fell completely in love, with everything and everyone. Our room was spotless, building 2, which is in close proximity to the pool and beach. Breakfast was superb, above average. The property is so beautiful and relaxing. I loved everything about it and cannot wait to return. Once you stay here nothing else compares. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stayed at The Palms in Turks & Caicos for a special birthday celebration! From arrival - being greeted with a refreshing cucumber drink and cold towels, to check out - First Class Property and experience. The grounds and rooms are stately - garnishing beautiful marble, clean and impeccably decorated. The Spa - top class experience. The BEACH - Breathtaking! I have to shout out: Carla, Ariker, Wes, Remy, Ceceila, and Duwayne for making our stay an experience of a lifetime! This is the only place I want to stay when I return to Turks. Thanks so much! C
First time to Turks and Caicos and I did a lot of research on where to stay. I went with my husband and 16 year old twins. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very accommodating, Ally and Kristi at the front desk, Michelle in excursions, Ally and Nico and Abel by the pool, Eddie by the beach, Rose and Yolanda in housekeeping, John and Mark, all were all great. The rooms and amenities were top notch. Very clean and luxurious. We will definitely be back.
We stayed at the Palms last week. It is a beautiful resort. It has a more traditional island resort feel vs. a modern feel which we liked. The 2 bedroom ocean front suite was furnished very nicely with great views which I would rate at 5 star. Housekeeping was very nice, another 5 star. Pool side restaurant service was ok. The main pool side towel person was very nice and accommodating. The beach is by far the nicest we have been to in the Caribbean. The negatives were lack of music and nightlife. The food at the main restaurant was very expensive and mediocre (2 star) but the service was great. We ate there only one night and decided to explore the other highly rated restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was the same selection so it got tired after a few days. Only a few nice staff at breakfast. We encountered a few very rude servers at breakfast which I would give them a 1 star.…
This was our second time visiting the island. The last time was 11 years ago and since then I've always said Turks was ny favorite island. This most recent trip absolutely confirmed that fact. The Palm Hotel was all that you can ask for. Amazing Beach, Beautiful Pool and top class room and amenities. But most importantly the service was A+++. I would like to give a special thanks to Sherie, Oats, Abel, Alvin and Vega. They took great care of us the entire week!!! Sky Sampson
