We spent New Years Eve and a week after staying at The Palms Hotel. It was simply breathtaking! We were celebrating my parents anniversary and everyone went out of their way to make our stay extra special. The GM, Jeff Morgan, is truly outstanding! He takes time to talk to guests, really caring about every detail. We stayed in the most beautiful penthouse suite with a view of the water that is indescribable! Definitely eat at Parallel 23!! Chef Manojith Nath is brilliantly talented and again he goes out of his way to make sure each meal is extra special. My family is vegetarian and he made special dishes just for us.. including the New Years Eve celebration with so many guests in attendance! He had several dishes prepared just for us and each one was delicious! We felt so cared for at this beautiful resort by every staff member! A trip we will never forget and look forward to returning soon.

We missed Spring Break at the Palms in March 2020 (COVID travel ban) but were determined to make it back for "festive week" (New Year's). It was spectacular again ! The New Year's Eve party and fireworks were awesome. We tip our hat once again (and kudos to) Sherrie, Ricardo, Jenero, Neville, Milli, Latoya, Kierin (sp?), Stacey, Walson, John, Arnel, Alvin, and of course GM Jeff Morgan-- you and your team are outstanding !! This is the best resort on the island if you want access to everything - Scuba diving, golf nearby, tennis, beautiful beach, great restaurants, and other 16-year olds for our son to play with. COVID-19 protocol and social distancing are practiced carefully. The fitness facility is clean and ALOT of great equipment. Our room was cleaned immaculately once a day plus turndown service at night. Taxi cabs are readily available. We reached the end of our travel bucket list and cannot find a better place so we keep coming back here !!

We just returned and will definitely make another trip back. The Palms is a smaller hotel located on the best beach we’ve visited in the Caribbean. Plenty of umbrella seating only steps from any room. Nice little bar located near the beach chairs and a nice restaurant near the pool had great food. The staff constantly checked with us and offered food / drinks while we were on the beach. The pool was great and has a nice view of the crystal blue ocean. We ate on the premises once for dinner and it was also very good. Get the trio dessert sampler- we all loved it. I’ve read some complaints of slow service, which is true compared to what we get here in the states, however, we enjoyed the relaxed kicked back Caribbean feel! The breakfast is in a quaint courtyard and was exceptional. We rented a one bedroom which was tastefully decorated, well stocked and extremely spacious at 1,500 square feet. We enjoyed the extra space. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and conversational.

Don’t think twice about staying here and getting married here! We’ve been here on vacation, got engaged here, and then Lofton pulled off the most AMAZING wedding for us. He is the best wedding planner ever. We did everything on the phone and by email because of COVID and he really exceeded my expectations. Everything was just how I wanted it and even more!! Our guests are still nonstop talking about it. Nobody wanted to go back home! We all want to move to The Palms. We can’t wait to go back in a few months for vacation. Everything is perfect at The Palms: the people, the food, the amenities etc. We love everyone and everything at The Palms!!

The Palms in TCI was a very beautiful property on the outside. Our stay was for a week celebrating a birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted and checked-in promptly. We were given a brief tour and shown to our room. The infinity pool is fantastic, the beach access is amazing, and the one restaurant open for dinner (Parallel 23) was OUTSTANDING!!! There are several things the resort could improve on...and they all include SERVICE. First, we chose a specific housekeeping time as well as a turndown service time when we first checked in...which was going great and as expected for the first few nights. Then suddenly in the middle of the week this changed and housekeeping started coming at different times when we were not ready to be out of the room yet. There was one night where we didn’t get any turndown service and just had to ask someone to deliver some clean towels at the least. The housekeeping lady knocked only once on our door a few of these “off” days before opening the door on us and before we could answer, which was awkward. Second, the service at breakfast was absolutely terrible. We felt unwelcome and rushed, not sure if because it was complimentary but my guess is yes. The wait staff kept talking to one another about all the guests under their breath, and we heard one waiter mention “Americans” and “Bringing Covid” a few times to another waitress. Also, by the end of the week we could tell which customers were being treated with much more care...it was a specific type of crowd, a specific race, and those who probably left the largest tips at the “complimentary” breakfast. Next, our toilet in the room was stopped and overflowed a bit. We called for maintenance and it took about 2 hours for them to show up (after calling a couple of times). Next, I had a surprise dinner planned on the beach for my husband and there was a misunderstanding with the menu selections and what items came included. The issue was clarified and resolved, but it was an embarrassment to argue about it with the waitress. Lastly, when we first arrived to the resort we were recommended by the staff to go eat lunch outside of the resort. We were not told about the poolside lunch spot that was open until 6pm and told us only Parallel 23 will open for dinner later. Needless to say, the place we were referred to was TERRIBLE, and we spent $200 on food and a taxi that we did not enjoy. We were very disappointed! We will definitely come back to visit TCI again as it is an incredibly beautiful place, however, we will very likely try a different resort.
