Everything was great at the Pallms. We stayed for 5 nights, friendly staff that did everything you asked, on island time. From the beach to the pool to the restaurants! Breakfast was great! Had trouble with the safe in my room and security was there in less than 5 minutes to help. Great experience!

I stayed at the palms from May 5th- 9th and what I will say is the hotel is absolutely stunning. The service is next level and the jerk wrap at the pool is to die for. I’m writing this review because when I was looking for a review on this topic I didn’t see one. If you’re looking for a lively, upbeat, music by the pool, games, etc hotel look elsewhere the palms is basically a retirement home. You can literally hear a pin drop by the pool area. This is not the place to stay if you’re looking for a good time it is the place if you want nothing more than relaxation.

My friends and I had such an incredible time at The Palms Turks & Caicos. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance until we left a week later, our stay was first rate all the way. I would highly recommend this resort to my family, friends and anyone looking for a sublime experience. A big shout out to some stand-out people who I had the pleasure of meeting: Brian for water sports (he was always so sweet and helpful), Marsha at breakfast, Molly in Concierge, Monique in the fabulous hotel restaurant, and so many others. Everyone was so attentive, friendly and incredibly accommodating. I’ll def be back!

We stayed here in July 2007 and again in late April 2022. Wow has the island grown! The resort was just as beautiful as we remember with large rooms and a wide beach. We usually go to the Cayman Islands but with the island shut down for so long we decided to have our daughters small wedding here instead ( after being postponed four times) Anyone interested in a small wedding I highly recommend the The Palms and the sister resort The Sands for a beautiful venue. As expensive as the island is (I thought the Caymans was the the highest but I think the Turks has them beat) I feel you get value for the money paid for a wedding here especially a small wedding. At the Palms we found the Concierge Maile to be excellent and a wealth of information. She did a lot of extra touches for the wedding that made it special. Also a shout out to Arnel at the beach. We left our beach bag and he turned it into security and really was a great friendly face when we ventured to the beach. Brian was also helpful when we took out the hobbiecat sail boat. We found the beach personnel to be friendly. That being said... Come on now how about a bit more enthusiasm at the beach bar on the beach as well as the swim up bar!! They seem miserable! Also we stopped having lunch after day one at the hotel because the service was terrible. We stopped having lunch at the hotel after day one. We know you are on island time but this was just too painful. Now onto the great people which there were many!! The staff working the breakfast especially Risha were fabulous and friendly. The housekeeping staff for rooms 1304 and 1305 I wish I had their names but you can look who was working April 23-May 1 FANTASTIC!!! Friendly above and beyond!! The drinks at Parallel were very good but again the staff seemed not that thrilled to be working. The groundkeepers ( I love to garden were the BEST friendly etc. and told us a lot about the plants) Also the pool staff were fantastic with the towels. My husband said Wilmer ( Bellman) is the hardest working man on the island. He got our cabs and our wedding transportation and our airport ride. Pedro was also such a fun happy guy who always was willing to help out. If you are looking for a great beach location, large rooms and beautiful grounds you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed recently on our 3rd trip to the island. We are in our 30's. My wife has some dietary restrictions. The property itself is beautiful, the pool is excellent. The beachfront location is amazing though the beach chairs themselves need to be updated. The staff covering the beach/pool, in keeping with the rest of the staff, are not warm, or at least not initially. But after speaking with them for a bit they definitely are more friendly and helpful. Kevardo is one person that went out of his way to say hello and ask how things were and make small talk. Felt nice. There was more debris/seaweed near the water than the other place I stayed at though that was a bit more proper on Grace Bay so it might be geographical. The rooms are shabby chic I would call them. They're nice and the balcony is a nice touch also. The food at parallel 23 was excellent. The chef did a good job of working with my wife's restrictions as well, which are numerous. Having stores on property for small items and beer/wine is also such a huge convenience. Overall, it's a beautiful place and location. The service I think for the level of the property as well as the nightly cost could be better and more personal. When we do return to TCI we'll probably consider The Palms but I don't know for sure if we'll return given there are other options.

Turks, the island is gorgeous. Water like ive never seen before. We stayed at the palms. My boyfriend and i just returned may 4. We are in our early 40’s. The resort is pretty. Complimentary breakfast was great- good selection of food. The breakfast servers were all very pleasant! We enjoyed breakfast because of them. Staff for the most part were friendly, especially the bartendars down at the beach bar. a great group there. However, the Bartender, a gentleman specifically, at the main bar, next to their “fine dining restaurant” wasnt all that friendly unless you were tipping 20% ontop of the 15% surchage fee and domt forget an addtional 12% government tax. I dont know his name but the evening we arrived on april 29th, he was working. Can you say miserable? Mean? Rude? Wow- took me by surprise. He also worked the next day when we went for happy Hour…. Again , rude. Another young couple we met there said the same thing but eventually he came around since after it was probably the additonal 20% tip he liked from them, though this very nice couple had no clue that they didnt have to tip an additional 20-%. Dont get me wrong, we are normal hard working people. We did not come from money and we most certainly didnt expect the red carpet rolled out for us lol like some people who were there haha. note*** additional tip Is EARNED… not automatically given. Roll My eyes hard. Id like to repeat that . A simple hello, a nice genuine smile, can i get you something to drink is normal, right? For a short stay , in this specific bar/restaurant experience was awful. If i knew he was working, i refused to grab a drink there. One particular waitress there, i wont say her name gave off the same attitude. I mean, for the amt of money spent there, we expected just friendly service. Too much to ask? like i said, nice resort, nice pool, Loved the beach bar, breakfast food and crew were all awesome. I wont return here though. To the Management team at the palms, Feel free to contact me. Im Happy to make it known which bartender and waitress gave off the rude service. Another couple experienced the same negative vibe.

This is probably our 6th time visiting Turks and our 4th visiting The Palms. I rarely write reviews and do understand that most are either at the request of the property or place or when something goes totally awry. This is neither. The Palms deserves an honorable mention in all areas and regrettably I should have reviewed sooner. We go with either family or friends and from the minute we enter the beautiful property until we leave, the staff couldn't be more acommodating. Shout out to Ariker Garland who helps me plan and make restaurant reservations months before we arrive, follows up upon our arrival and was there to send me off, earlier today. The grounds are immaculate, the breakfast that's included is always amazing (yes, charge me a bit more for the room and throw in the breakfast). The little (water bottles included) and the big (beautiful turn-down service) all help to make this an outstanding destination. Towels are given generously at the pool and beach. I'm not sure if it's in the training of the staff or the best people are hired but everyone is as friendly as can be. Never an attitude. The staff seems to sincerely enjoy their jobs. How they do it in that hot, hot sun is beyond me! Yes, a bit pricey and if you can manage it, consider yourself fortunate. I get it! Keep the Ritz over yonder, I'll always come back to the Palms. Already planning our 2023 trip.

Overall I would say that this is a nice hotel, but not worth the money you pay for it. If it was $300 cheaper per night, I wouldn't make note of the cons, but at the rate they charge, their service should really be more upscale. Pros: -nice rooms/large bathrooms -complimentary buffet breakfast with omelette bar -beautiful gardens -nice pool and beach -the kids' club is great and the staff there is great -Parallel23 is a great restaurant and offers options for multiple diets -they did an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter which was a really nice surprise -I felt very safe from a Covid perspective. Windows were open at restaurants, masks were required on shuttles, Covid testing was on site. Cons: -the internet is atrocious. I would not encourage you to pick this hotel if you need to get some of your job functions done. -very inconsistent service, especially in the pool area. We were left wondering whether the guy who came around to take everyone's lunch order was coming back to the 20% of the families he didn't stop by. After about 10 minutes of waiting AND then talking to the guys at the bar who insisted he would (10 minutes later...he hadn't), we assumed he was done. -other inconsistent service: when we arrived at the hotel, we were given cold towels and taken care of, which was a pleasant experience. I found out the next day while visiting the concierge that most people also receive welcome drinks. Why didn't our group get the drinks? -communication about events on the property were really poorly communicated. I found out the most by talking to other guests. -very limited restaurant options: you have Paralell23, the connected bar serving some light fare at dinnertime, and the lunch place that converts to an outdoor dinner place -the lunch place is serving standard pre-frozen food, but plan on dropping a minimum of $100 for a mediocre lunch. There are no other options on the property (besides the small market). Tips: -get your drinks at happy hour (4-5pm on the beach, 5-6pm at L'Attitude) or you're going to shell out over $20 per cocktail, including your plastic cup drinks at the pool -if you want a pool chair, get up and throw some stuff on your chair of choice between 6:30 and 7:30am -if you want one of the pool beds, you're going to have to tip one of the pool guys in advance -stock up on food at breakfast to save money on lunch (they have to go containers). I recommend cereal for the kids for an afternoon snack as well

This was our first trip to Turks, had to postpone a 2020 trip due to pandemic. It was totally worth the wait! The Palms was beautiful and a great setting for a much needed vacation. The grounds are very pretty, flowers everywhere and plenty of spots to unwind. We were greeted by wonderful staff at arrival, Pedro at the entrance, Leorna and Kelly at the front desk and Eddie who gave us a tour of the grounds. They all took good care and remembered us throughout our stay. Our room wasn't ready yet, so Vega at the pool made sure to find us a couple chairs by the pool because it was afternoon and packed already. The pool area is large with plenty of chairs and these round pods that can fit an entire family on them. The hot tub area was very busy with small children even though it stated Adults Only. Our rooms were nicely decorated and very spacious, more space than we would ever need, huge kitchen, washer/dryer etc We booked a 2BR suite so it was basically a 1BR and regular suite that shared a main door/entrance. There was a connecting door to a 3rd BR if you needed that extra room.. The living room has a work desk, a few arm chairs/ottoman, a queen sofa bed and we also requested a cot and there was still so much space left..Had an amazing wraparound terrace and million dollar view of the beautiful beach. We had our morning espressos on the terrace (they have both nespresso machine and traditional coffee maker in the kitchen). Housekeeping was great, Maribel and Filianne both so wonderful!! They work hard to clean these huge rooms and always with a smile! Turndown service was great too. There was complimentary breakfast every morning in the garden, had plenty of selections. The omlette bar was a hit with our family! The Plunge bar for lunch was convinient and had the usual fare, didn't even have to leave the pool, literally had tables built into the pool. Parallel23 was very good, nice atmosphere and presentation. We also took advantage of their complimentary shuttle to go eat at their sister resort The Sands (Hemingways restaurant- also very good and different vibe, right by the beach!). The location is great, we walked the beach and there were other spots that were more windy when you walk east towards the Ritz. Our stretch of beach was calmer, there are plenty of chairs but you have to get there early for anything central (and forget the first row, those are always "reserved" by the butlers for their clients-even though some sit empty most of the day). We also liked the Palms location because we could walk to eat nearby at The Somerset (Tuesday night BBQ was fun), Bay Bistro just a couple minutes away and Hemingways at the Sands. In the other direction you can walk to snorkel at Coral Gardens and eat at Somewhere. Also convinient is the fact that Island Vibes and Caicos Dream Tours snorkeling boats leave from our beach. Plenty to do nearby but you may want to rent a car too and explore the island a bit (Taylor Bay is a must, lunch at Las Brisas on Chalk Sound nearby then we headed east to Leeward and Long Bay and sister resort Shore Club). Overall an amazing, memorable stay, we'll always remember the beautiful suite with that VIEW! and the wonderful staff at the Palms!

Large rooms, great beach. Sherrie at the pool bar was the absolute best! We intentionally found her every day! Get your pool seats early, more availability at the beach than the pool. Walk into town is only about a mile. Gym is a bit small, tennis court was a well maintained hardcourt.
