I blew a tire from the airport to the resort, and Wenie sent Gary to pick me up and called the rental car place. They sent a new car to Kokomo. Fortunately it got better from there. All the employees were great to work with. It was a very restful and enjoyable time.

Not far from anything! Ten minutes from the airport, we stayed in bungalow 212. The rooms were very nice and the kitchen was bigger than expected. The ground are beautiful with tropical landscaping. The pool area is a great place to lounge day or evening with ample seating areas. We rented a car so we went out exploring much of the day, coming back to change or rest between reservations. Felt very safe with the gate and security. Booking excursions and reservations were easy and efficient and house keeping came regularly and did a great job. The restaurant on property was tasty but service was a bit slow. 3 hours for dinner for four was longer than we expected. The menu was mixed offerings but they excelled in the Asian style dishes. Our concierge & host was incredibly friendly and attentive and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definitely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kokomo. We are a family of 4 travelling with 2 young boys aged 2 & 3. Nothing was too much trouble and Wenie the manager provided her number via Whatsapp and was always on hand to provide assistance at all times. A great example of this being when the safe started to beep late one evening and someone came around to fix it immediately. The pool and bar area is commensurate with the amount of people using it, we never found it too busy. The food in the restaurant along with the bar and restaurant staff was fantastic also. When using the beach shuttle either Gary or Joseph were always there to pick you up within minutes of your call (you are provided a burner phone with their numbers on in your room). It's important particularly if you are coming from outside the US to realise that TCI is very expensive in general and that your $ doesn't go as far here as it might elsewhere. With that in mind, the rooms themselves are no frills but they have everything that you need including a huge flat screen tv to help entertain the kids while getting dinner ready etc. The resort itself is very located if you are looking to explore the island. We would highly recommend hiring a car (which the hotel are very happy to assist with) and seeing some of the gorgeous beaches on offer. One proviso is that there is a club not far from the hotel called Versace that remained lively (and loud) until the early hours. This only happened on one occasion during our 10-day stay but might be something to bear in mind if travelling with light sleepers. All in all a brilliant trip, we would definitely return.

My daughter and I just got back from a week in T & C. We stayed at Kokomo because we wanted the privacy and convenience of our own cottage. We really enjoyed our time there. The staff overwhelmingly aims to please. I suggested that they gear their marketing as a spa resort as this is exactly how it feels. There is a real zen vibe. They even grow some of their own produce. I like that their focus is on wellness. I love their fresh water pool and hot tub. The food and drinks at the hotel restaurant are outstanding, although pricey. The only thing that I would like to point out that you will need a car. They do have a shuttle to take you to the nearest beach (Bight National Park) where they have complimentary chairs and umbrellas but this is not the nicest stretch of beach. There are no restaurants or beach bars here and it feels quite deserted. If you do not have a car you will be pretty limited to this only. Because we had a car, we drove to Flamingo's Beach Bar each day and rented 2 chairs, an umbrella and small table for $30. It is directly next to Club Med on a really lovely stretch of beach. The convenience of having a kitchen in our cottage allowed us to make lunch and snacks each day and bring it with us to the beach in the cooler the hotel provides to each cottage. We saved a lot of money bringing our own wine & cheese to the beach and making breakfast in our cottage each day. This was a very economical way to have a relaxing experience in T & C, which is pricey. Cottages are very clean and well equipped. The hotel also provides a cell phone to guests to contact hotel staff and make local calls. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My 2nd time here! Spent three awesome nights. Same excellent service from the staff as last time so I know they're consistent on delivery. Ultra top level cuisine with meat cuts flown in from Toronto's St. Lawrence market! This is fine dining to a next level. Resort is absolutely stunning with nature paths and next level scenery all around you. The freshwater pool is FRESHWATER! And there's a semi personal hot tub just off to the side. I visited other well known resorts but those are all basically the same type of resort you'll see anywhere. This place is different. Way more personal. The staff gets to know you and they really care which is so different from larger resorts. And man!, the massage I received! They have this cool private spa right on the resort. Was planning to get a massage a few hours before my flight back to T.O. but my timing in the morning didn't allow that. SO, I got it done the evening before, had some light appies and knocked out on that luxurious King Sized bed. Light's out. Would I recommend?? Hell Ya

We had a great stay here. The cottages are spreadout around the beautiful property which you get to by trails. The pool and spa are in great shape and the restaurant had the best food we ate in Turks. They have a regular shuttle that takes you to the beach which is 2 minutes away and it was the next beach I have seen in my life.

Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us. Glad to see you enjoyed our botanical wellness amenities to the fullest. One step back. Two steps forward. We are super proud to have one of the very best set-ups on Grace Bay Beach and we are not even on the beach. And what we have within the private gated walls of Kokomo Botanical Resort, Balinese Spa, Botanical Nature Trails, WE Grill | Winebar one of the very best restaurants and bar lounges (SkyDeck) in the country, and the peaceful serenity of our freshwater oasis pool and saltwater hot plunge, paired up with incredibly personalized concierge services…..all experiences only found in the most expensive resorts in TCIs, we take pleasure in saying that there is no beachfront resort that can offer that anywhere close to our price range. Accessible Luxury. Island Vacation Experiences. Relax. Breath. Grow at Kokomo.

Cottages sprinkled along the pathways that snake through beautiful gardens with fig, pomegranate, citrus and other fruit trees along with beautiful flora and fauna. The pool, hot tub and restaurant/bar are immaculate and skillfully landscaped. The restaurant managers and chefs are extremely accommodating and friendly. The hostess, Wennie, was great. Dinners on the patio were unforgettable. The beach shuttle driver, Joseph, was always timely. Next time I might rent a car as getting around by taxi isn’t always convenient. If you want a big busy and loud luxury resort, probably not what you’re looking for. If you prefer a more intimate experience, definitely consider this spot!

Thanks Frugal Business Guy! Kokomo Botanical Resort is all about Accessible Luxury Island Vacation Experiences…Done Well! Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We agree that inasmuch that we are all about authentic island vacations and Turks and Caicos is literally a Blue Zone in its own right, with so many eco adventures, it is not a bad idea to at least rent a car for a day or two to just go explore, but we have a small fleet of rental cars and vans for families right on property. The rest of the time our Cottages spread over 4 acres of Botanical Gardens within a private gated full service residential resort with upscale restaurant, bar, nature trails, Balinese Spa, Yoga Pavilion, and an incredible Beach Club on Grace Bay Beach a few minutes away make us the perfect Island Oasis and your island vacation home away from home.

The location is terrible, the shuttle to the beach ends before 5pm so you can't see a sunset. Also, the shuttle is a dirty minivan without AC. The chairs and umbrellas at the breach are raggedy at best! You can walk over to the resort next to the their section to order food and drinks. Also, there isn't a clear walk bath to get to their setup on the beach. The rooms was terrible! Mold everywhere in the bathroom. They are petty about the towels and counted the cups in the room. I don't need to fly from the USA to steal cups and worn towels that are no longer white. The aerial view pictures are totally different then where you stay. There isn't a lobby to check in at. Wait outside and get eaten by mosquitoes. The one restaurant onsite is disgusting (no seasonings). It's truly zero cars and please get a car to rent. Our you're stuck with undependable cab drivers. No uber/lyft here. This was the worst vacation I've ever had! Southwest need to remove them from their vacation package option.

If Kokomo Botanical Resort did not have multi year TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence and countless positive reviews your pack of lies might actually be credible. Readers we all know there are super toxic people out there. In our books had this coward brought forward anything truthful during their stay without question our amazing staff would have made things right which is why our guests love us. Folks book with confidence! Kokomo Botanical Resort is a full service private gated residential resort just off the grid and the perfect island vacation home away from home.

We were very disappointed after arriving at Kokomo for our vacation in August. First of all you check in at a table at the restaurant. We asked about access to the beach and was told the shuttle was broke and not sure when it would be fixed. Immediately Wenie could see we were disappointed and said if we weren't happy we could cancel and go to another hotel, but first wanted us to see the room and then decide. After checking out the room and seeing we were not close to the beach or anything else for that matter and would require a taxi or rental car to go back and forth, we decided to leave. Wenie said it would not be a problem because the hotel had yet to charge AirBNB who we booked the hotel through and also said her manager would not deny the request. Well, we left and booked another hotel only to find out later that her manager did not approve and charged AirBNB for the room. We argued with AirBNB that we were told we could leave if we weren't happy. Wenie specifically told us "you are on vacation and we do not want you stressed out, so if you're not happy, you can leave." We now have to pay AirBNB $1700.00 for a room we did not use. Very disappointed in the dishonest management of this place. Also, the restaurant is not open all the time, so plan on having to leave the property quite a bit if you want something to eat. The area around this hotel is very depressing and does not make you feel very safe. It's basically in the middle of the island in a run down neighborhood with no restaurants or stores near it. Avoid this place and look at places like Ocean Club or 7 stars. You can step right out of your room and be on the beach in less than a minute. You can also walk to stores and restaurants from these hotels. I normally never leave a bad review but seeing how they dishonestly took $1700 from us, I hope this review costs them much more than that in the future

It is a real shame that you feel compelled to use this platform to leave such an untrue and one-sided review just so that our property losses revenue. It only shows how vindictive you are as a person. Such a shame that you are not telling the readers the full story. We don't normally respond to such accusations, but for the benefit of the reader, we will enlighten them on what happened. First and foremost, your question PRIOR to booking was “if you could walk to the beach”. Our response was that we are a 5-minute drive. Even after this response YOU chose to book with us. Upon arriving on the property, you and your partner were disappointed because we were not on the beach. We NEVER claimed to be on the beach. You carry on talking about our beach shuttle. Again, erroneous information. Our beach shuttle that we use daily was in for maintenance, BUT we had another shuttle that was running at the time. Do you honestly believe that we would not have a substitution? Perhaps you stopped listening to what you were being told once you heard our shuttle was in for maintenance. You state you lost $1700? Your reservation did not cost $1700 but rather $1,002.03 which includes 27% taxes. Our check in process is unconventional, clearly you have an issue with this. If you wanted to stay in a multi-level hotel like those that you mentioned in your review, then you should have booked those hotels in the first place. All our pictures depict single level cottage style homes, not multi-level high rise. We greet our guests at the restaurant/pool area, provide them with welcome drinks while we proceed with our orientation. Very personal service. Our restaurant has operating hours, no different than any other restaurant on the islands. Nowhere do we claim that our restaurant is open 24/7. We trust that readers will judge for themselves what has motivated you to write such a false review. In the end you were not granted a refund because your reason for not staying with us was because we were not on the beach, something you were told PRIOR to booking. Everything else you mentioned in your review was not based on any experience or knowledge. It was simply mentioned to slander the property and the service. In conclusion, we do not feel that we should be held accountable because of your inability to decipher information.
