If you want the low down read this. Im am in my early 40's, extremely well-traveled, love good food, hotels, art, etc. I like to go out for a casual burger or 3 Michelin star restaurant, I travel to Italy 4-6 times a year and have been to many other countries. I say this because im basing my review on having been to some amazing places yet being ok with casual. As it relates to the actual beach and water, you can't beat Turks unless you go to Bora Bora or the Maldives, the water really is incredible. The Beaches resort is located on an amazing stretch of beach. The hotel itself is divided into 4 different Villages. Key west is the most expensive and is very quiet. The Italian is located in the middle of everything, has a great pool, is still expensive. The Caribbean is on the ocean and is much smaller buildings spread out, and has 2 smaller pools. The French village is I believe the oldest, is not on the water, but in my opinion has the best pool and is the best location if you are trying to be cost conscious. There were people I met who had paid $25,000 for the week in Key west to my $8,000 in the French. We are a family of 4 and got a walk out room which is nice so you can come and go. When we are on vacation we are never in our room, to pay double for a water view in Turks is not worth it, when I go to Aruba I spend more time in the room since we have a kitchen so the view is worth it. My kids also liked to be close to the waterpark and stage where the shows are at night so this location worked out perfectly. The rooms are a little older and in need of some updating, but they were spotless and very clean. The pool is also the warmest of all the pools, and I felt like you could get a drink much faster here than the other pools. When your talking about activities for the kids, hands down Beaches is the places, there is no shortage of fun for them. There is the water park, surf simulator, catamarans, snorkeling, kayaks, game room, basketball, poolside activities, etc. My kids love to be able to swim up to any bar and order a frozen drink, if they don’t want it they can put it down. They really like watching the shows at night as well. Beaches does have a good safe kids club that might kids always begged to go to. Once again if this vacation is for your kids they will beg to go back. When it comes to the food, I would say its average, probably a 3 star, definitely not 5. You wont starve like I did once in the Dominican, but you will be looking for good food and will find its all average. You need to seek out what you want if your looking for something good. In the morning we tend to go to the buffet because its fast and they make fresh eggs for you, some fruit and coffee and everyone is happy. For lunch you have tons of options from pizza, salads, buffets, the jerk shack service Jamaican jerk food which was my favorite, to Arizona on the beach where they grill chicken, beef and huge slabs of fresh tuna if you ask. Dinner is where I felt like I struggled to get a good meal. The fish at barefoot was really good, other than that the food was just average. You also have the option of sit down service for every meal but they are on island time so keep that in mind. The staff at beaches was very friendly, they will pour you a tiff drink if you ask, and your kids will love every minute of it. If you go expect the food to be a 3 star not 5 and you will have a great time.

We had our inaugural trip to Beaches at Turks & Caicos and it was an outstanding trip to say the least. The staff went above and beyond to make us happy and the French Village was recommended to us and it was fantastic. The food at EVERY place we dined at the Resort was very good. The Beach is gorgeous and there is something for everyone to do. Diving, Snorkeling, Swimming, Spa, Beach, Bars, Shopping, Kids Water Park etc.....Loved it.

Beaches + Butler is the way to go!!!!! Best ever. Butlers (Macy) Latoya and Ellen were the best ever. We had twins, 7 years old. They cried when departures came way to quick. Our butlers are the kindest 2 people I have ever met. Helpful in every way. Suggesting restaurants and events. We fell in love with them. We felt very special while in their care. Beaches camp for little ones was great. Kids loved it especially the friends they made. Beautiful grounds and everyone happy and helpful. Food everywhere was amazing. Thank you for making this family vacation so special and memorable. We will not forget Macy and Ellen. Everything was perfect. Excursions amazing!!! Catamaran snorkeling was fun, educational and amazing. Thank you Sky for your assistance in collecting shells. Thank you Mr Profit for your assistance in choosing the kayak for my son and 7 year old twins. Perfect week. Met many people.

We stayed at the French Village. While the resort grounds and beaches were beautiful, we found the staff unpleasant and sometimes rude We felt the staff did not go that extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Most staff did not even smile and seemed grumpy. Maybe the staff needs to participate in a training class to learn techniques to improve customer satisfaction

We travelled to Beaches as a family of four (girl 13 boy 10) over Thanksgiving 2019. We are Diamond members and have been coming to Beaches since our kids were in Camp Sesame. This time I had the privilege of booking one of the newly renovated Seaside Villa Suites located in the front Salt Cay building overlooking the Cascade Pool and Treasure Beach. We had a second floor suite with views over the Cascade Pool Bar and Treasure Beach, a gorgeous and fun view. I had a birds-eye view of the Caribbean Village at its best. The new layout of the room is ideal and flows very well. When you walk in the door, you enter the living room area. There is a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall, as well as a pull out couch and a pull out chair. We arranged the room so that our kids had some separation which worked well. There is a lot of closet space and the bathroom is really nice. Separate toilet, separate shower with glass door, and a large soaking tub with double vanity. A sliding door closes this off from the hall. The bedroom had a new comfortable king size bed and a beautiful view. The decor was modern and clean as well as tropical. This was among my favorite rooms at Beaches over the years having stayed in 3 of 4 villages. It is really wonderful to have a resort that grows with our family and ocntinues to please all of us as the kids get older. The staff also grows with our family and we are always made to feel like we are welcomed home by: Jamie, Paulette, Andrea, Mary, Colin, Alwayne, Ramon, Raquel, Garry, Abdul, Lorraine, Dian, Christine, Sofia, Meckisha, and all the counselors at the Tweens club :-) Happy Tweens and Teens not on a phone on vacation? YES IT IS POSSIBLE!!
