Great little hotel! Clean, attentive staff and a view of the ocean from the 2nd floor ocean view balcony room. Super quiet. Bay Bistro restaurant on property is very good too. Nice little pool and outdoor shower to rinse salt off from the ocean. Room has a mini fridge and microwave. This hotel has private lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach. Easy access to Dive Provo (Awesome!) as they will pick you up at 8am from the hotel for your day of diving. Best location as it is literally right on the beach! Overall I had a great stay and will return!

There is a certain level of allure that accompanies a hotel with history. Not only does Sibonne have history, charm, and personality, but the small number of rooms (I believe there are 29 total rooms) makes this piece of paradise perfect. The view is breathtaking. Grace Bay is as beautiful as advertised. While there are more contemporary hotels/resorts on the strip that is in front of Grace Bay, I would willing to bet that any stay matches the stay of Sibonne. The staff was very helpful, the grounds, was clean, there were plenty of beach chairs available, the bourbon selection was great, and Bay Bistro was excellent! On Grace Bay there was also plenty of opportunities for excursions and water activities. I am still in disbelief about how perfect this hotel was. For the price, you just cannot beat it. If I had any complaints, it would be the WiFi as we had very little connectivity the entire time we were there. But to be honest, if that is an issue for you, you are doing this vacation thing all wrong because the ocean is enough to make you forget about your cell phone. Aside from the WiFi and the dated decor, nothing else negative to report and those negatives are not even negatives in my opinion, I just wanted to share all of our experiences. Please look into staying at Sibonne before booking one of the more popular named hotel/resorts. You will not regret it!

I still love my Sibonne home. I know what it is and it works perfect for me. People who expect too much from her and pay too little are sadly mistaken when they don’t have their expectations met. It is not an upscale hotel with tons of services. It is small, quaint, close to the beach, comfortable, and a friendly older hotel. My only complaints this trip was I stayed during the island wide power outage and had to sleep in a very hot room. The hotel does not have a generator. Thankfully this was just a 24 hour event, and not the fault of the hotel. The other annoying thing is there is a sign that says beach loungers for Sibonne guests only. We had all sorts of locals selling trips, beads, and who knows what park themselves next to us. One day my husband was reading and one local sat right next to him. There was a whole row of open seats, but he had to sit next to him and of course blare his music. It was extremely rude and made me want to say something to him, but instead we ended up leaving. I get that they want to take refuge from the sun and sit a bit, but we had to listen to fights with other vendors selling boat trips, a turf war, loud music, plus the swearing was not pleasant. I wish the hotel would monitor the beach a little better. The fact that there is a public park next to the property doesn’t help. We will be back next year, so that tells you how much we like it there.

Love that we saved so much $ and still got everything we needed! Pretty clean and tidy small older hotel right on the beach. Exquisite beach/ocean. Good restaurant 20 feet from our room. Close to lots of other hotels and beach bars/restaurants. Microwave, small fridge, great staff, pool is actually larger than I thought. Not crowded, parking is good, and plenty of beach lounge chairs. Feels like there are only 4 or 5 other couples staying here. For $189 a night I won’t stay anywhere else if we return. Room is large, water pressure is just ok, you can here your neighbors if your air conditioner isn’t running. I’ve been awakened early by people talking outside my window every morning, but all things considered we LOVE Sibonne!

I’m writing this review sitting on the Sibonne Beach Hotel. Can’t say enough about this little gem. It’s a beautiful, quaint, small hotel. Its not brand new but doesn’t feel dated, and is well maintained. The surroundings are gorgeous. Ask for a room on the second floor (there are only 2 floors), the view is priceless. One reader posted the garden was a jungle, it’s actually a lush beautiful, well-maintained garden. Steps away from the incredible Grace Bay. And the restaurant! Wow. Upscale dishes prepared to perfection, and reasonably priced. The prices for lodging are the best in the area. Hope to come back one day.
