We chose thee most inexpensive room, which was very comfortable with a King Bed, small kitchenette and a balcony that overlooked the quiet pool. It was enjoyable walking through the grounds in the morning past the tropical foliage which is absolutely stunning. The whole resort ha

The property itself was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Our room was always clean and made up. Nice pools and jacuzzi to just sit and relax in and the beach is amazing! We ate on the property only three times (breakfast only once, more on that later

Another great stay and welcome return. We were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom which was really nice. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It’s amazing how beautiful the flowers and gardens are but you can understand as they are constantly working on them even when it’s r

The staff was helpful in every way making our stay memorable. We picked a room with only a kitchenette since we didn't need a lot of room. We did have a washer and dryer, big plus there. The balcony was huge with a beautiful view of the ocean. We were in building 2. Our son's

We just stayed at Royal West Indies (again) and continue to be amazed at this piece of paradise in Turks and Caicos. This cozy upscale tropically lush resort sits on one of the finest beaches in the world with crystal clear turquoise water. The weather is phenomenal every day a

Hi, we are returning first week of January, 4th time to the island second time at RWI, can anyone let me know as I do not recall are there ice machines on the resort. We have booked a two bedroom ocean view would anyone know if the two bedrooms are available in all buildings.
Two bedrooms consist of end unit one bedrooms with an adjoining studio sharing a common entrance way. I don't believe there are public ice machines. Some rooms may have fridges with ice makers. I have seen Pelican Bay bartenders give guests small amounts of ice from the bar. The Restaurant is not owned or run by RWI. When folks offer reviews they should do so by reviewing on the Restaurant's page, not bash it on RWI's. After many years we find breakfasts and lunches very good with sometimes slow service. We go elsewhere for dinners. Absolutely love RWI!!

It's been awhile since we've been in Provo and wondering if Virgilas (not sure on the spelling) is still working the beach.
Is there a bar or bar service on the beach. Recent YouTube video seemed as if it was though others did not?
No bar service to the beach when we were there -- but it's a very short walk to the restaurant/bar by the pool, and they do have plastic take out glasses for the beach as well as a full range of beers.

Does the RWI resort still have a shuttle to and from the larger IGA?
I didn’t know of one.......we also rented a car and had no issues getting around.

We will be staying at Royal west Indies in January. Can you tell me how the procedure works with the water activities, such as kayaks and Hobie cats? Do you have to reserve them in advance? Or do you just sign up to use them once you get to the beach? Any information is appreciated. Also, are there stand-up paddleboards?
There is pretty much anything you want to do available and yes sign up in advance.
