The hotel is lovely. Clean and a nice size room and bathroom with the most spectacular view from the private balcony. Also allowed us to use a courtesy room later in the day. I would highly recommend. The food took time to arrive on bbq night but it was fabulous when it arrived.

My husband and I are in Grand Turk celebrating his milestone birthday. We are enjoying the laid back atmosphere and lovely ocean views. We went to this restaurant based on advertising stating barbecue and live music. The barbecue is chicken cooked on the grill... no sauce offered. And there is no live music. Actually, there was no music playing at all until I asked about the live music. Then they turned on the radio. My husband was underwhelmed by the looks of the chicken so he ordered a ribeye medium... it was tough and undercooked. The waitress asked us if everything was alright as she cleared the table. When we told her all was well except the steak was tough, she didnt respond at all. Just cleared the table and moved on. Very disappointing experience. I see the reviews are high... maybe our Chicago born pallets / standards / expectations are a bit high for this island paradise. And IMHO they should clean the pool when they advertise it as a feature... poolside dining. We do enjoy hearing the waves while dining and the vibe is relaxing.

The Osprey is a beautiful hotel if you’re staying in Grand Turk. It’s about a 5 min drive from the airport and located right on the beach. The food at the hotel is very good and staff is attentive. When I say there is no one on the beach I mean if if you’re looking for a “getaway” this is the place. It’s very private and the view is lovely. Definitely a great place to stay!

We (family of 12) had dinner there at The Bird Cage. We had reservations, were served quickly and the food was quite good. The kids had a variety of seafood, all excellent. I had the BBQ combo, also very good. Nice salad bar with greens and rice sides.

I stayed at Osprey for 3 nights on a work trip. I was on Grand Turk for a total of 5 nights. I think Osprey is the better value of the two main hotels here and definitely offers the better BBQ evening on Saturdays (the Jerk Chicken is better and the vibe more chilled). The rooms are a nice size, they are kept clean and well equipped. If you get a downstairs room you will be able to fall out of your bed and crawl into the sea. The eating area is right on the beach overlooking the azure waters. It is a beautiful location and within walking distance from the restaurants that are open when the cruise ships have gone. You are also far enough away from the cruise area not to notice it. Even though TCI is generally expensive I would expect that if you pay over $160 a night you can expect stable internet, which I didn’t have. This is not an issue when you are using the internet to access Instagram but is a problem when you need to make Skype calls. I also had more than one experience of very slow service at the restaurant that frustrated me massively. If I was there on a holiday those issues would not have concerned me.
