The food was excellent and so were the waitstaff but I was completely appalled by what the women who work there have to wear! I felt like I was transported back to the 1960s in the USA (recently read The Help by Kathryn Stockett), silly maid costumes, black or powder blue dresses, little white aprons and what looked like a... Thank you for coming to Firefly for dinner, we are so glad you enjoyed it and had a good evening. I can assure you none of our staff are forced to wear anything they don’t want to! The staff have a very big say in their uniforms and in fact the housekeepers uniforms are designed and made by one of... More

This belated review was a second visit to Mustique, but the first time staying actually on the island for a week instead of sailing. All correspondence with Stan prior to arrival was cordial and jolly – it emerged we had birthdays on consecutive days, so a party in the Firefly was assured! Patrick picked us up at the tiny airfield... More

Having first visited the Firefly Plantation in Bequia, we heard a lot from "the locals" there about Mustique. All of them preferred Bequia and we understand why. In fact, I had this conversation with Patrick at the bar (fabulous guy) when we had been at the Firefly Mustique for a few days. He understood exactly what I was trying to... More

We spent 7 days at Firefly Mustique the first week of June and loved every minute of it. We were seeking to simply eat, drink, relax, and be well taken care of – and Firefly accommodated us on every level. What really makes Firefly special is the people and their commitment to making sure your stay with them is extraordinary.... More

We arrived in Mustique after 10 days in Grenada in a hair -raising thunderstorm, scarily having to land at Union Island and Bequia first due to weather . Met by the Firefly car ,we drove the short distance to the hotel with flash floods and torrential rain . My husband and I looked at each other and grimaced . However ,on... More

I just returned from the most glorious 10 day stay at both Firefly Bequia and Mustique. First let me say that they are both different and special in their own way. I arrived on Mustique, from St Vincent, on the little jet prop 15 seater airplane. The runway is small, the airport is sort of in the middle of the... More

We came for a chilled out holiday and were not disappointed. Firefly was charming, views amazing and the staff could not do enough for us. The island was very quiet which suited us just fine and days spent lazing on Macaroni Beach with lunch arriving by buggy was a real treat. Thank you - we will be back soon...... I... More

We were on the 'Best of Both Worlds' Special so started our holiday in Bequia (see my review on that) which we were totally impressed with, it was wonderful. Stan arrange a speed boat trip from Bequia to Mustique which the boys loved, it was a bit of a wild ride but great fun. We arrived in Mustique to be... More
