St. Vincent does not have chain hotels and the rustic Cobblestone is perhaps the best option for Kingstown on the main island. The property is very quaint and reminds me of a riyad in Morocco but much more "British Victorian" era. Rooms and bathrooms are small but functional.

The Cobblestone Inn is a charming little place to stay. The stonework takes you back in time, and the birds sing you to sleep. Our room used a skeleton key - something I’ve never used before. We overnighted while en route to the Grenadines. All the staff are very friendly

We were back after 20 years and its still a great place to stay, its in the middle of town and in walking distance to the ferry for Bequia. Friendky staff and don’t forget the breakfast in the morning on the rooftop.

Historic hotel in the center of town so can get noisy on weekends. Our room was 'shabby chic', unlike the rooms I see on this site. The rooms were clean. There are some steep stairs on entry, to be expected from an historic location, so not ideal for the elderly.

I went from St. Vincent to Bequia on the ferry for a day trip last November and it was fine. After looking around the area near the pier, I paid a taxi driver to drive me around the island for a few hours, then had lunch back in town before the return trip.
