Excellent location opposite young island, beautiful views as right on the shore. Food was really good, roti exceptional, staff were friendly albeit quite slow. Room needs a revamp, however bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again

This hotel is centrally located, the staff was very nice and I loved the fact I had access to visit their sister resort …. Right across the water. Parking is a major problem and that would be my only negative. My recommendation would be to stay on the 2nd floor so you don’t feel like you are in a fishbowl. The team was excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the location to me, was perfect

We stayed at Mariners for several days/nights, on the way to and coming back from Bequia, on the recommendation of longtime travelers to the Grenadines. The people at Mariners, and especially the front desk/reception, were INCREDIBLY kind and helpful. They arranged taxi transportation for us to/from the airport and to/from the ferry docks; and also arranged a boat trip for us -- all things that were a bit beyond our abilities when we first arrived. They transformed these logistics, which otherwise would have been complicated and fraught, into an easy non-issue. All the people they connected us with were likewise excellent. They were also unfailingly kind to our young children. The view from Mariners is lovely, towards Young Island and Fort Duvernette, and it's also quite close to the airport and ferry dock in Kingstown. As a gateway to the Grenadines, it was perfect, and highly recommended for that purpose.

Quiet hotel with secluded private balcony directly at the water's edge. Service at reception was fantastic. The chef at the on-site restaurant was amazing. Best bolognese I have had outside of Bologna, Italy. Dinner each night was something to look forward to!

I had a nice stay. Small hotel in front of the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Manager was very helpful and friendly as well. Food at the restaurant is very good (try the pizzas!). Reasonable prices, quite place to rest. Nothing luxurious but totally a good price for a short holiday. Punctual transfer service to and from the airport. Cleaning lady was rude (she asked if I wanted cleaning service and when I said yes she was rude), but even so I would come back. General experience was good.

I stayed in Mariners hotel for 2 weeks. Most people stayed in this hotel for the first day and last day in St. Vincent, then move to small islands. I enjoyed villa beach experience and had meals every day in hotel. There is a Ylang Ylang tree in hotel and smells so good. I stayed on the second floor facing ocean. Every day watching sailing yachts cruising back and forth. Hotel meals have varieties. I like their chicken wings and salad most. You can take ferry to different islands. If go to Bequia, take Bequia express ferry. If go to Union island, take Jayden Sun. After getting off Union island, take a water taxi to Tobago cays. Tobago cays is the most beautiful place in this country.

ONE THOUSAND STARS!!! I cannot express how heavenly our stay was. From the front desk to the restaurant, landscaping, maintenance etc. everything was fantastic. They helped arrange a special birthday dinner for my husband on Young Island, and every staff person he came across wished him a happy birthday. The staff also arranged for a nurse to come to the hotel for the departure covid test required to get on the plane to come home, which enabled us to enjoy our last day instead of having to run around to get tested. The staff were consistently gracious, pleasant, endearing, every positive word you can think of!!! I have made several trips to the Caribbean and around the world. This was, by far, the most perfect vacation we’ve ever had. I really felt like I went home having made new friends. I will never stay anywhere else. The accommodations were like heaven. The room was so clean and smelled fresh! The bed was very comfy. There was a mini fridge which was so nice since we enjoy keeping snacks and drinks in our room. The restaurant was fantastic! The drinks were amazing and everything was consistent no matter what time of day you visited. There was a small private beach which was very easily accessible, as well as a pool and lounge chairs. The staff were constantly caring for the landscaping so it was always pristine. I could go on and on, but I’ll add to my review after we return to visit next year!

I had a 10 night dive package with the Mariners Hotel and Dive Saint Vincent. I do not like fancy Caribbean resorts, so this was perfect for me. My second floor room and balcony looking at the water with Young Island in the foreground and Bequia in the distance with a courtyard loaded with beautiful flowers and greenery, Hummingbirds and Bananaquit. The small pool is good for cooling off and the small beach is perfect to swim and snorkel. The open air bar and restaurant are set in a close, cozy arrangement. The food at their French Verandah restaurant is very good, especially the Callaloo Soup. It's a bit more expensive than some other restaurants but with good portions it's a great deal by US prices. The staff were outstanding and took very good care of me: Whitney & Lionella at the front desk, Vellana - head of housekeeping and bartenders Zawadi & Janeen ....:-) Yes, everything was just right! Oh....there were many rainbows and stunning sunsets and views of some of the Grenadines in the distance.
