I've entitled this mostly good, some not so good. The good. The location - fairly secluded, at the end of a high sided valley, with an attractive beach, with imported white sand. A calm sea ideal for swimming and you can snorkel straight off the beach - no coral, but sea grass, rocks with some sea urchins, and a reasonable...

My wife and I spent three weeks here in January. We were last here four years ago and at that time I believe it merited its 5 star rating but, since that time, it has gone somewhat down hill. Due to the not unusual Liat delay we did not arrive at the resort until 2 o clock in the morning...

Suite 5015. Garden Suite with our own pool. Secluded and Private. Take Bug spray and lots of sunscreen. Travel from Cleveland, through Charlotte, through Barbados to St. Vincent. Time we woke up to time we walked into our room.. 18 hours... Big layover for the jump from Barbados to St. Vincent. And 20 hours back... However was rerouted through Miami....

The location of the hotel doubtless has sun, sea and white sand, but that same location could be enjoyed camping in a tent. My point is that any enjoyment guests may gain from being in this location is not due to efforts of the hotel; merely to nature. The company is poorly managed to the extreme, and 'sunset faraway holidays'...

Not a good start to our stay when we arrived at 10.30am to be told our stay didn't start until 2pm and we could have nothing until then - no welcome drink and certainly nothing to eat. Eight of us spent the next hour spread across reception and it was obvious from overhearing complaints that this hotel has its problems....

Having read the varied reviews we were worried about what we were letting ourselves in for. First of all we paid a lot less than most people we spoke to so this review may be more positive than some. We know this as many people asked what we had paid as we were staying in the main building and not...

My husband and I stayed at Buccament Bay from 7th to 17th February and, having read such bad reviews prior to arriving, we were a little concerned as to what kind of holiday we were going to have. We were pleasantly surprised and a little confused as to why this resort has received such poor reviews. We flew into Barbados...

We have just returned from 10 days at the resort and overall we had a fantastic holiday! We were very impressed with the accommodation, we were in one of the villas with a private plunge pool on the decking which was lovely and the rooms were spacious and were cool with the air con and fans. The resort was laid...

After reading the many negative reviews, my expectations were low, but after spending a week here I can tell you that my expectations had been surpassed. So let's explain why; 1. I'm still expected to get up early at some of the swankiest resorts to reserve my Sunbed e.g Dubai, Spain, South of France etc, so there's nothing odd in...
