Nestled in a picturesque setting, the Four Seasons Resort Nevis garners acclaim for its stunning location and beautifully maintained beach. While the ambiance is consistently described as welcoming and classy, some guests have experienced noise during events. The service is lauded for being attentive, though not without occasional lapses. Rooms receive mixed reviews, with some finding them in need of an update, while others appreciate their comfort and views. Amenities are well-regarded, particularly the dining options and grounds, yet some visitors find the prices steep, affecting the perceived overall value.

We travel ALOT and this is by far the BEST resort we have ever stayed in. The first thing I would say is that it’s BEAUTIFUL. Right on the beach, gorgeous grounds, pools, beach and rooms. Everything was immaculate including the service. The staff was one of the best we have ever had. From the beach staff (Jackie, Steven, Roxanne and many more!), to the bar and waitstaff at Dune (“Wallace” and other staff), to incredibly friendly bartenders at the Monkey Bar, the room service staff, the waitresses at breakfast every morning, to the front desk and every staff member we encountered just on the grounds- all were so helpful and friendly and just made the stay that much more enjoyable.
We spent all our days on the beach and to say we were pampered would be an understatement. Your chairs are made up for you, you are constantly offered fresh water and fruit water, you are treated with little “treats” throughout the day as the staff hands out cold towels, fruit, muffins, smoothie samples and more.
We ate and drank at every restaurant and all were 5 star hands down.
The grounds are beyond beautiful and all the staff work so hard at keeping them that way. I’ll also add that our trip began with our airline keeping us in PR for 2 days and missing the first 2 nights of our stay. The hotel was more than accommodating and didn’t even charge us for the 2 nights we booked but missed.
We will be back!

Four seasons continues to impress and this has to be one of the best. The location and service levels were among the highest I’ve experienced. They were literally able to anticipate our needs so we didn’t need to think. They mentioned they were pretty busy but the resort appeared quiet.

The beach is gorgeous with fabulous sunsets and barely anyone near you. Service on the beach was excellent.

Our room which was on the ground floor and literally steps to the beach was spacious and kept immaculately clean with friendly but unobtrusive service. My only comment would be to perhaps to update them, at the very least the bathrooms which is from the eighties. Not a major issue at all though.

Excellent wifi and TV channels.

Happy hour at the Pier is a must as the guys there are fun and professional and the views relaxing as twilight sets in.

The Dunes food was out of this world. Fish, Mac and cheese and so much more was delicious with great service at the bar.

We went out to Indian Summer restaurant which we really enjoyed as it was in the busier location so it was good to see other parts of the island and if you like authentic Indian food then you’ll love this place .

The Yachtsman was nice for cocktails and next time I’ll have dinner there.

Golden Rock was a romantic experience for lunch , quiet and lots of history and very good food again!

Walk down the beach and go to Sunshine’s for the killer bee and some wings .

The best place for dinner or lunch for us was Turtle Time which is a short walk away on the beach.

The beach lunch bar and patio had the absolute best curried mutton I’ve ever tasted .... but they said they were open until 5pm for lunch and when we ordered a second order at 4:40 , they said they were closed .. disappointing for a four seasons but again, minor item.

I could go on and on. They were simply the best.

What an amazing hidden gem this Four Season hotel on the prestine island of Nevis!
We had a great experience starting at the airport where the hotel representatives met us and arranged transportation to the quick ferry ride straight to to the hotel's pier.

We were greeted by the manager on arrival on the beautiful pier and given a tour of the grounds. The landscape is beautiful. We felt at like we were part of the Four Seasons' family.

Everybody from the housekeeping team to personnel on the beach and wait staff in the restaurants were very accomodating to our requests. Whatever we needed would be delivered right away. The beach is gorgeous with a pristine water, amazing views and memorable sunsets.

Their chat application helped to make tee times and dinning reservations easy and convenient for us.

Beach attendants were great setting up towels, refreshments. Every day we were offered complementary tasting of their signature cocktails. Breakfast buffet in Hamilton room was the way to start our day, one of the best - with a large variety of foods. The Mango restaurant was one of our favorites with the best rock lobster, fish and ribs!

The hotel staff really made our experience great and we had one of the best vacations!

The arrival to the resort is really special. After you have ridden in a boat across some beautiful waters for about 20 minutes you come upon a nice pier where you are welcomed by the staff, offered damp towels and a drink. You are then shown to your room and the checkin is complete. Fantastic right?

It really is awesome but then it sorta lost it’s pizzazz. We had heard the hotel had gone through renovations 2019 so expected it to be perfect after all it was a Four Seasons. Not so, the room smelled of dampness or mildew. The service was great sometimes, lacking other times then horrible a few times. Food really good sometimes other times not. It was just all over the place.

When you book the hotel you book at a premium during February so you go into this trip knowing you will probably spend a premium for every thing. All that is ok, but when you are spending top dollar and your getting a motel stay you then have to share your thoughts about the hotel. It’s not as a warning but just an honest opinion of ones stay. Food quality at Mangos is quite delish and even the main lounge offers a nice breakfast and dinner. The adult pool area is fine and I was glad to have a designated area as it was a kids spring break sorta break and there were plenty of kids around. One flaw is the restaurant by the adults pool, lots of flies, the food was terrible and the drinks were crazy expensive which is ok but at least get full glasses or premium alcohol. The drinks seemed watered down, it was very odd.

Nevis is a great place if you want to relax and maybe play a few rounds of golf or just lay on the beautiful beaches. The food was often good at the hotel and there are a few places you can visit outside the compound. The area seemed safe and pretty easy to get around so if you like to explore this might me a place for you.

Will I go back, maybe but I would have to really read the reviews carefully before doing so.

My wife and I just returned from a week long stay at the Four Seasons in Nevis.
The positives of this resort are many. The staff are wonderful. They care. They are polite and will help with anything. One staff member, Jonathan, taught my wife and I how to play dominos Nevis style. He was great.
The food is of good quality, and certain dishes were very good indeed. The main pool is absolutely beautiful, and the poolside sunblock, water and service is excellent.
A few issues: This is a very expensive property. The food costs about twice as much as you would expect, together with tax and service charges. Good restaurants are available elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. Another issue: the airport transfer [including transfer via boat from St. Kitts] costs $150 in each direction. Given that the room price is very high, this transfer cost seems unnecessary, and excessive.
Basically, this is a wonderful resort, but watch out for "extra" charges!

We wish we had known how restrictive the Covid protocols are before we booked. St. Kitts/Nevis had a recent Covid exposure incident and are RIGOROUSLY ENFORCING covid restrictions on the island. Visitors must be fully vaccinated and have a negative covid test prior to entry. Once there you cannot leave the resort for 9 days. There are security personnel enforcing the No Leaving policy. Masks are expected to be worn in public areas (but thankfully) that is more
Relaxed outdoors. They want you using hand sanitizer all the time. None of this makes sense based on CDC guidance and the fact that everyone on the resort is vaccinated. But as I said these are the islands rules.

The resort is beautiful and the staff are VERY accommodating and friendly. The food is excellent, but with limited menus. Only one restaurant is open fir all meals - except one or two nights when the small Mango restaurant is open for bbq. And no discount pricing for the limited offerings- full price in everything.

No scuba diving. Golf and tennis are available. But the gym rules are ludicrous- limiting gusts to extremely limited times and requiring reservations.

The one positive to all this is that the resort is only at about 30% capacity so no huge crowds to deal with.

Then leaving the resort is such a stressful hassle it fairly ruined our vacation. You must appear for a covid test 3 days prior to departure at around 6:15 am to wait with numerous other guests to be tested. The medical person jabbed the stick so far up peoples noses that it caused some people severe pain. Then you must look for an email and deal with an awful phone app in order ro leave. The result is nearly every guest dealing with this administrative bs The last two days of their holiday. The resort should get all guests to sign a waiver, get the results fir the guests, print them out and hand them to the guests at departure.

In conclusion, it is a lovely resort but I would not visit the islands until covid is over, which may be awhile since the local inhabitants apparently are not getting vaccinated in large numbers.

I won a trip at work and this was the destination. What a wonderful “free” trip. My husband co worker and his wife went 2 days prior to our official work trip. The rooms are very spacious and very quiet and serene. The level of service is top notch and it starts from when you arrive via boat from St Kitts. The beach is gorgeous and it was beautiful to watch the water change all the pretty shades of blue throughout the day. My only negative was how expensive everything was $6.50 for a can of Diet Coke is a little offensive. Thank goodness I only had to pay for 2 days. Lovely place and a once in a lifetime experience

This is one of those bucket list visits that we can finally check off the list. So glad we got to visit after the updates. If you can't relax there, something is wrong with you.
Some of our favorite things about the property were the Crowned Monkey Rum Bar, the Dunes, the pools, & Mango.
Classic Four Seasons service levels. It's the small things that set them apart. For example the pool staff that provided us with an ice bucket for a bottle we bought off property or the fact that staff on carts always pull over when you are walking on a path, or for the staff that went to one of the restaurants on property to grab us a bottle not on the pool menu.
We had a mountain view room which was the perfect backdrop for our morning breakfast. The room had been recently refreshed with a very modern tropical color scheme and a gigantic TV.
As with all properties, even Four Seasons there are some areas for improvement. For example the paths are not lit well enough at all. I'm not that old and there were plenty of times I wanted a flashlight. Though our bedroom had been refreshed it was clear that the bathroom was not. It just seemed kind of tired compared to the rest of the vibrant updates. I would much rather have a smaller tv in lieu of a refreshed bathroom that has things like a hand held shower head or multiple shower heads.

The setting is magical, there is a volcano that looms in the background, always topped with clouds. The place has a Polynesian vibe to it but the people and sounds is all Caribbean.

Rooms are large and ocean view rooms, particularly on the second floor, have great views of the sea. The rooms also have large balconies to sit and savor the sea breeze. The rooms on the first floor don't have much of a view, but you can walk out of your room and you are only steps to the sand.

There are three restaurants on the premises. The summer is the slow season and the restaurants close at random. There should be a better scheduling system since even the employees are caught unawares of random closings. The food is very good in all the restaurants with some authentic Caribbean items on the menu. Have dinner early, one night the restaurant closed at 10 and we couldn't get dessert, "kitchen is closed" the waitress said. Not cool. We did not have the breakfast buffet, opting instead for a la carte items, among these the avocado toast with grilled shrimp was a stand out for me.

We rented a beach cabana, something I never do. It was very nice, a good space to relax and there is attentive food/drink service. As a matter of fact, service throughout was very good, with some staff, Shania the concierge in particular, really shinning.

There are rocks outside the beach meant to break swells. The rocks create a man made reef, there is a lot of life on this reef. We saw turtles, rays, eels, octopus, squid, many fish, it was really nice but the complementary equipment was in short supply and in really poor shape, I'm talking about masks that constantly fog and snorkels that are literally held together with tie wraps. We were in Bahamar last month and the hotel (which caters to thousands) was giving away individually wrapped mask and snorkels for free.

There are many places to eat outside the hotel and one should at least visit Sunshine Restaurant and get the famous "killer bee" drink, it's a short walk. We also went to eat at the Rocks, which is very beautiful and the food is terrific and priced right (huge plates). Note that taxis are not cheap.

I expected so much more from the four seasons than what I encountered on this trip This hotel consistently let us down during our stay. During a time of decreased human interaction, the four seasons should be emailing guests, leaving paperwork in rooms and honestly a large brand like this should have an app for hotel guests. Communication was non-existent during our stay.
They did not communicate any of the covid protocols, including that the quarantine and testing period was lifted for our arrival which we had planned for.
They were late to pick us up from the airport and didnt answer the phone when we called.
They screwed up our transfer leaving the resort and forgot to call us a taxi, leaving us stranded at the marina.
They charged us for mini bar items we did not use.
Prices on menus changed from day to day, and charges on the bill didn't reflect pricing on the menus.
The list of issues with consistency and communication goes on and on from there.
After complaining to the front desk and calling twice where we were promised a call back, still no response.

Is there access to a washer/dryer if staying in a Nevis peak room?
Answer from From Califonia
6 contributions1 helpful vote
As of July 2024, thet self service washer and dryers have been removed. The hotel will wash your laundry to the tune of about 250 to 300 usd per load. It is 9 usd for one pair of shorts. That's not dry cleaning, it's launder. There is one laundromat in town that will wash your clothing for a load of up to 14 lbs for 56 ecd. It's a 25 usd round trip cab ride from the taxi waiting at the resort loby. So long story short, bring enough clothing and don't mess with the time to go wait for wash and dry or pay the equivalency of a dinner for 4 for one load of laundry

No, you can come in to play golf although if you take a water taxi from Christophe Harbour to the Four Seasons they will charge 200. US per person. Take a water taxi from Christophe to Quaiie Beach and the taxi to the golf course. We stayed at the Four Seasons but still payed for the transfer ( we should have had our crew take us over but the seas were high). Be forewarned that the club house has recently burnt down, but clubs are still available to rent if you do not have your own. Overall, the views from the course are spectacular. It is definitely worth playing.
