Staff is great, Mark and Stephanie really work their butts off to take care of you. They make the high prices of the drinks and food almost worth it. Check out the Star Island restaurant for Island food you will not be disapointed.
One of the better restaurants on the island and one of the best settings. Large outside seating area with wide range of choices. Views of the beach, the sea and sunsets are great. There is also an upscale restaurant located indoors, open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The room was comfortable and immaculate with a nice patio and view. The food was superlative. particularly for a buffet. Kudos to Chef Gregory! Dive operation was good and the diving can't get much easier than this. There is nothing not to like about this place including the friendly staff. We dive all over the world and are not easy to please, so this place is special. We will return.
Where to start... can we get you drinks.. sure... 15 minutes later.. app's cold, sent back the calamari which was ice cold.. and they microwaved it and put a fresh lemon slic on it.. dinner... sandwiches... with fries.. one would think that would be easy.. rigggghhhhht... Well.... cold yet again.. never even bothered to send back... Don't waste your time, money or patience... Find another restaurant on island that the food is hot, the fun is not stopping and is kind of like cheers... There are other places on the Brac to eat so by all means go there and avoid the cluster fluck ...
My wife and I just returned from the Brac. We loved this place. The facilities and grounds are clean and tidy. It's quiet, as we prefer [the heck with the big all-inclusives!]. Service was excellent, especially our new friends at the bar, Regina, Neil, Mark and Chino. Thanks for making our week so enjoyable. I never ran into a suryl, or grumpy staff member. A very friendly group of people. This is a dive resort. Be forewarned that there isn't much else to do on the island. There aren't many beaches, and just a few other places to eat and drink. We took a tour with Mossy, who is an interesting fellow and great tour guide. It was well worth the time and cost. It was the coolest I've experienced in the Caribbean and breezy the first half of the week. Thank God for the warm hot tub, which I used after rinsing and hanging up my dive gear. My non-diver wife was yearning for sunshine. The second half of the week was as expected, warm and sunny. I dove 6 days and the reviewer below claiming reef life wasn't what he expected is nuts. Every dive was amazing with something else to see. Visibility was a bit stirred up, as they had been experiencing a very windy period prior to our coming in. A word about valet diving - just because they are setting up your gear doesn't mean you aren't ultimately responsible for checking it out before hitting the water! The dive briefings were excellent and I felt comfortable exploring with my dive buddy once we came back around to the mooring.…
