We booked two nights at the Ty Newydd Hotel in Aberdaron,on arrival we were directed to what they called the Annexe located in the middle of the village! We were placed her as we had a dog we paid £80 + £10 for the dog £90 per night. The accomodation was of a very poor standard with cheap odd furniture... More

Although we stayed over a busy weekend and the hotel restaurant was very busy we were made to special and very welcome. To fall asleep to the sound of breaking waves right outside our window was a reminder of the joys of living very near the sea. The food was very good and the service quick and efficient. Gwesty Ty... Had an evening meal in this hotel a few weeks ago. As per previous reviews the tables were sticky and appeared dirty with lumps of food stuck to the table. Food was just ok. A big fish, chips and peas - no side salad and sachets of sauces , again feelng sticky either crom pdevious table seating or leaked sauce!... More

Had a very pleasant lunch and a few drinks out on the balcony on a warm sunny day. An idyllic setting accompanied by reasonably priced well presented warm food.Wife had lobster - most of us cod and chips with mushy peas - very good quality to be fair without breaking the bank. Our friends thought it was all fantastic and one... I have stayed here many times and had some memorable visits. The location itself is worth a five-star rating but the hotel delivers on a number of levels. The rooms are incredibly comfortable; the views of the beach and tiny church are magical. The food is excellent, from the amazing Welsh breakfast to the fresh local seafood. I can't praise... More

This place has a fantastic location, right on top of the beach in Aberdaron. We were a party of 10 for Sunday lunch. The carvery was just what the doctor ordered. We also went back on a wet and windy night and the kids really enjoyed a hot chocolate with a load of whipped cream. The reception on both occasions... More

This pub with rooms is situated right on the beach in the beautiful village of Aberdaron. We had a first floor room with French windows which opened onto a wonderful Seaview. The outdoor terrace beneath the room can be quite noisy in fine weather and at peak times,so if you want an early night it would be better to ask... More

We have just returned as a family of 18 from this wonderful hotel in aberdaron. We we're celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we had lots of small children. The staff were helpful and polite at all times and despite the small children running around, never lost their cool once. For that, as a family, we will be eternally... More

Overlooking the beach my room had fantastic views. Clean and comfortable with a large walk in shower. The buts concern service. At breakfast had the impression that staff did not know what they were doing. On Saturday morning, a sausage was cooked only on one side and uncooked on the other. I left and mentioned to waitress who said "Oh,... More
