Haven't been here for 20 years but so glad we went again. First class location great food and a good choice of beers. Rooms are very nice, very attentive staff and an owner who just doesn't stop working... I was really happy to hear so many Welsh speakers this time too, even the old corpulent white haired woman who did... More

I stayed for a couple of nights in this very pleasant hotel. My room was on the second floor, looking straight out onto the vast and beautiful Aberdaron Bay. The staff were helpful and in most ways, my stay was delightful. WiFi works well downstairs but wasn't good in my room. And for those guests who prefer a dark bedroom... More

Delightful room with excellent decor and huge walk in shower room. Dinner was to be a special occasion. Horrified to first be told we could eat at 6.15 or 8.45 as a local treasure hunt was terminating there. A drink was ordered but on entering restaurant dirty empty glass covered tables and meals not cleared. We waited 45minutes and the... More

A friendly hotel with beautiful views of the sea, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The restaurant menu was ok - meals varied from average to good and there was a good choice of beers, wines and other drinks. Free parking was available on the National Trust car park 200 yards from the hotel. The main reason for us staying... More

It was a rainy afternoon and we wanted somewhere to sit and enjoy a cream tea to pass the time and we'd passed this place and saw their lovely sea front terrace and planned a visit. It was not the right weather to sit on the terrace but there are lovely windows inside across the terrace where you can see... More

Came here purely for the view but you find sometimes the food disappoints. Not here. The portions were huge, the quality of the dishes were second to none. The best example of traditional home cooked food I've had in a long. Plus the beer was tops as well! Will definatley be revisiting the Gwesty. 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

Visited on a hot sunny Sunday with friends and family, sat out on the terrace which hangs over the beach and soaked up the fantastic view with a few G&T's. We loved the starters of local crab and lobster, I finished off with a spot on beef burger with cheese and bacon, which went down a treat. Rooms have brilliant... More

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay in this Hotel, the staff were pleasant the meals delicious. The situation is fantastic, we were in Room 3 looking right on to the beach. My only niggle was that the bed was a bit hard.... But after all that the fresh air you don't notice after the first night😊 Thank you Aberdaron it... More
