This was our first trip to Little Cayman Island. Our stay at Paradise Villas was amazing. First off Mark is awesome! He was so helpful. The Villas are very nice. So comfortable and located in a great part of the island. The ocean views from the villas are beautiful. We will be back and will be staying again at Paradise Villas! Thanks Mark. See you again in 2023
We just made our second visit for 4 nights to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We love the charm of the villas and the fantastic view just outside our back door. The room was very well maintained with all the amenities you need for your stay. We really enjoyed the walk-in rain shower after a day of snorkeling. Marc and Sabine were more than accommodating to our weather-struck arrival and departure issues. The villas are conveniently located within easy walking distance to the airport, car rental and grocery store. The restraunt on the groumds is one of the best on the island. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!
We had a fabulous stay at this unassuming beach villa/bungalow. We love the island for its simplicity, peacefulness and lack of amenities. The bungalow is freshly decorated, compact but with all you need for a holiday by the ocean. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchenette well equipped and the balcony view wonderful. The villa was cleaned up daily by the lovely ladies and we used the pool and hot tub regularly. The beach is ok for a dip but not a full sandy experience so recommend going out on the dive boat for full swims, dives or snorkels. In the office Mark was very helpful and we loved the little restaurant attached, the Hungry Iguana. We made breakfast and lunch in the villa with purchases from the ‘village store’ and we couldn’t have been happier. The dive operation attached to the villa is also five star and I will be reviewing them separately. We can’t wait to come back. Many thanks to the team. Virginia and Andy…
Spent four wonderful days at Paradise Villas - we wish we'd had much longer! Mark and Sabine were so helpful before and during our stay. The location is absolutely wonderful - I could sit on the verandah and look at the beautiful view forever! Not to mention the frigate birds, swallows and booby birds. The rooms are spotless and the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare a meal if you don't want to eat out. The off license and supermarket are only a couple of minutes walk away. There was a BBQ too which was great and we used that most evenings. The bed was incredibly comfortable and enormous and the shower was amazing! Wish we could have stayed much longer and really hope to be back one day!
My wife and I have stayed at Paradise Villas many times in the past, but not for a few years. Just visited again and we are so pleased with the renovations and improvements they have done. Our villa had a renovated bathroom, beautiful tile and glass shower enclosure with a rain-shower and handheld, and new kitchen cabinets, fixtures and small appliances. During COVID, they built a rock wall behind the villas and created a sandy “beach” between the villas and the wall, which is beautiful for lounging. The new king-size sleigh bed is great and new windows and screens let in the fresh breezes and the sounds of the palms and waves. The WiFi is strong and the fajita specials at the Hungry Iguana next door were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure.
Our first time on Little Cayman. As the name suggests, it is small, but it is proof that beauty comes in small packages! We were slightly nervous about the hotel’s proximity to the airport - but we were being overly sensitive, it’s an airstrip and we walked the less than 50 yards from there to the hotel checkin. Our hosts were surprised and apologised for not being there in the truck to pick us up! The villa is great, clean and well equipped. There is restaurant / bar attached - the Hungry Iguana - which is thriving, The villa scores over others on the island in that the shops are within walking distance and you don’t need a car. Snorkelling off the north side is brilliant. Little Cayman is a true holiday paradise and these villas are aptly named.
Well, we could not get in for our usual July dive trip, but we were accepted to quarantine in December. It was well worth it. January at PV was amazing – no masks, no 6’ apart, 50 ‘ from the beach, great diving. It really is a different world. The stress of the previous 9 months melted away. And the bathrooms are now complete – new sinks and faucets, handsome vanities, and matching cabinets (Hallelujah!). Most staff stayed and occupied themselves by building a wall midway between villas and ocean. They then added sand between villas and wall and leveled it. Much more attractive. And the beach continues to grow, both in front of PV and down past the restaurant. And on the Iggy, see a separate review. Sabine and Marc continue to be their professional, delightful selves. PV is the top of our list after many decades of extensive traveling. Many of the Covid -related questions below are misleading and/or irrelevant since Little has never had a single Covid case.…
This is a perfect place to stay - they offer everything you need. We chose Paradise Villas to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect choice. Sabine helped us coordinate booking the scuba portion of our trip (with Little Cayman Divers who were also fabulous). She greeted us at the airport, loaded our bags in her truck and had them delivered right to our cottage's porch (including dive gear and a cooler full of adult beverages). Check in was quick and painless - Sabine provided us with all the information we needed for our stay, including the opening hours for the local grocery store, liquor store and other bars and restaurants. We were also briefed on all of the COVID 19 protocols they had put in place to ensure guest safety. Very thoughtful and thorough. Our cottage was an open plan one bedroom unit with a queen size bed. I believe the couch in the living area could have also been used as a pull out bed. The bedroom area had a nice big dresser in it. The toilet and shower were in a room with a door and the sink, vanity and closet were adjacent to that room. The TV is in the bedroom, mounted above the dresser. The kitchen is very compact but has everything you can think of including dishes and appliances (toaster, microwave, bar fridge etc...). There is a little table facing the window overlooking the water if you want to eat inside. The couch and coffee table were also in this section of the cottage. Outside there was a table and four chairs if you wanted to eat on the porch facing the water. Beyond the porch, there were comfortable loungers and hammocks. There is a pool area which is attached to the Hungry Iguana Restaurant (see separate review). Paradise Villas also provides bicycles for their guests - you just help yourself. The selection was good because we found a bike to fit me (4'10" female) and another for my husband (6' male). Mark handled our check out and he was fabulous. He made sure we were happy. Sabine and Mark run an excellent operation and we will definitely be back.…
We try to get away each winter for a few days. My girlfriend has a high stress job and it is hard for her to relax. An hour after we arrived, she was in a hammock and totally relaxed. Our condo was about 20feet from the water! Marc and Sabine were great hosts. Marc went out of his way to see that the restaurant prepared a lobster we bought from a local diver. We will be back.
We have been here 14 times and it has been remodeled since we first came about 9 years ago. We dive with Little Cayman Divers that is wonderful as well you will not be disappointed everything is done for you it doesn't get much better.
