We stayed at the Westin last year and instead rented a two bedroom condo (217) this year at sunset cove. Ultimately we are glad we did. While you give up some amenities, the difference in space is significant compared to the two connecting rooms we...More
We rented a condo through Cayman Condos. They were professional and easy to work with. Condo 213 was pool front, with a peek of the ocean from the balcony. It was the most well-equipped vacation rental we have stayed in.
We stayed at Sunset Cove (in unit #122) in December 2018. We were fortunate to have the first floor unit directly in front of the beach. The beach is large compared to the other hotels/condos that we saw on SMB. We walked from our condo...More

The resort has a very small sandy area in the ma-made cover and then is harsh and rocky on all other sides. There is nowhere to play in the waves, or anything like the real seven mile beach area 1/2 mile farther up the beach. It is good if you kayak as you can get in and out without the surf hitting you on the way in or out. However, you are NOT on the seven mile beach area that is world famous.
