First, let me say that Cayman Club is our favorite spot to stay on SMB. The location, management, outdoor maintenance are top notch. We are repeat guests, however our recent stay in the only two bedroom rental unit was extremely disappointing. We noticed multiple issues on arrival - the kitchen was sparsely outfitted, items provided were very old and worn out or broken ( we had to repair the handle on a frying pan just to use it.) The dishwasher was a challenge since there was no handle for opening it! We lost count of burned out/ missing lightbulbs. The ceiling fan in one bedroom was broken. Living room and screened porch furniture was very old with flat and uncomfortable cushions. Bath towels were ready to be relegated to the car wash pile. It seemed odd that there were three counter stools and three patio chairs in a rental unit advertised for four guests! Standard condo “extras” like board games and a deck of cards were nowhere to be found. For larger rental units, Cayman Club can’t be beat, but for two bedroom rentals, which are plentiful on this stretch of SMB, #23 is not worth the price until it has been renovated and can match the standards expected at Cayman Club. …
This property is amazing - the beach is on a perfect stretch of 7 mile beach and not filled with tourists, the condo was amazing and more than enough space for 2 families (we had the 4 bedroom unit) and the location on the beach is walking distance to snorkeling, a fun beach bar, and shopping. We will only stay here from now on! I can't say enough good things about the Cayman Club! You won't be disappointed!
This place is a small fortune but we were invited by someone else so keep in mind that we did not actually pay for the cost of our stay. The hotel is incredible. The food is delicious, the drinks were also tasty (I'm sure they were a small fortune though) and the pool and beach area were great. Our bedroom in the villa was spotless and there was a nice size living room area where we could all hang out and drink in the evening. If you can afford it, this is THE place to stay on the island.
Staying at the Westin, Marriot, Royal Palms will cost you almost as much ($500+/night) as renting these condos ($700+/night) and you will only get a hotel room. Here you get an entire 3 bedroom condo. But the best part is that you have a private beach (sometimes to yourself) with a big shade tree. At those hotels, cruise ships are permitted to hire the rows of beach chairs and crowd the beach and water. Cayman Club is so worth the money!
A very fun atmosphere with dancing and singing and games for all! Good drinks and food for reasonable prices, along with beachside seats. Great place to go to with friends or family for a fun and enjoyable night!
