Stayed the last week of December 2022. Beach has eroded to allow only 1 row of beach lounge chairs. If you want a large beach area you need to stay in a place farther north on 7 Mile Beach near the Meridian, Westin, the Ritz, etc. Grounds of complex are nicely landscaped. There seemed to be enough lounge chairs but many need to have the netting (that you sit on) replaced. There is NO hot tub at this complex. You will see pictures of something that looks like a hot tub but it’s actually just a whirlpool….not heated and has bubbles. The pool/kids pool/whirlpool are not heated. Our unit was fine. Not 4 star but everything worked. There were many towels in the unit, shower towels and plenty of beach towels. Location is good for Peppers Restaurant, Coconut Joe’s and restaurants at the Marriot next door. We had a nice time and had no complaints about our actual unit, but next time we are in Grand Cayman we will stay farther north on 7 Mile Beach.…
All the pictures you see from many years ago , I’m posting an up to date one . It’s certainly not 4+ star , disappointing and not true to life , cleaning is hit and miss and not great when it happens .. certainly not value for money . Do your research before booking !!! I feel we have been catfished .
We just returned from a family vacation at the Regal Beach Club with our family of 5. We have 2 boys and 1 girl 10 and under and this place was perfect. We rented unit 612 which was clean, spacious and close to beach and pool. The ability to have a kitchen for breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks etc was a game changer. We had friends stay at the Marriott so we were able to experience the amenities of the Marriott with the space and beach the RBC offered. Let me address the beach situation. While smaller than what we heard the beach was historically, it was a non issue as there is room for 15 chairs and umbrellas and space at the water line to play and walk. The depth of the water in front of the RBC beach was perfect for our kids to play and snorkel everyday for hours. We got a couple of chairs everyday and enjoyed the beach and the pool. There is also plenty of seating on the elevated pool deck. The Marriott is right next store has literally no beach. All chairs and seatings is on the pool deck. I would not let the beach situation deter anyone from staying at the Regal Beach Club. Amazingly well kept grounds and our unit was in a perfect location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great family getaway.…
The Regal Beach Club is a great property. However, the owners of #523 are simply horrible. Their advertisements shoe an amazing beach, yet when we arrived on 8/12/22, there was no beach - nothing! In addition, the owners were aware of an adjacent unit's renovation and did not disclose, giving us 3-4 days of jackhammering and construction noise. They have been totally unresponsive to our request for a partial refund as a result.
Had a wonderful vacation in the Cayman Islands, and an excellent stay at the Regal Beach club. Our unit was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of 4. The views and proximity to the beach were second to none. Walk right out your door, down the stairs, and you can enjoy the pool or the crystal clear ocean water. The snorkeling right outside your unit is incredible. And you are within walking distance to tons of restaurants, Camana Bay, convenience stores, and more. Finally, an added bonus to your stay is getting to work with Melinda with Coral Haven Prop Mgmt. Melinda is super responsive and helpful before and during your stay. She even acts like an on-island concierge - helping you get access to tours and more (we booked Stingray city through her and Capt Stephen with Reel Vibes). A+ experience all around. We will be back!…
We spent 15 days at Regal Beach club in June 2022. It was our third Cayman trip and second time staying at Regal Beach. We stayed in 513 with our four kids and had the time of our lives. We were nervous before going because we had read so much about the erosion and sea wall, and were worried about the lack of a beach. It was a non-issue. There was ample space to have two rows of reclining beach chairs and plenty of space to play in front of the chairs. The kids never suffered for lack of sand. If you stay at Regal Beach you have access to the Marriott next door which has fabulous food and a great bar, and also have Coconut Joes and Peppers just across the street. The staff is friendly, prompt, and helpful. The tennis court is fun and generally not busy. The biggest reason we love this spot is we can wake up, toss on a snorkel, walk into the water and see so many fish. The fish houses in front of the Marriott have fun new discoveries every day and the giant rocks beyond are just filled with so much to see. Our 11 and 12 year old kids could snorkel out there safely by themselves. The condo is definitely dated in some aspects, but given this island is just emerging from stringent Covid restrictions, what we experienced was not at all unexpected of problematic. We would love to visit again and miss the excellent adventure already!…
Regal Beach Club will soon be called just Regal Club. We have stayed here now 3 times. Prior times were outstanding. However the beach has eroded to a point where all the beach chairs are hit by the waves. The beach is all but gone. The photos in the rental listings need to be updated to show a true representation of what to expect. We were a little shocked upon arrival to find the beach almost completely gone. The condo was nice as expected. Unfortunately during our visit the “African dust” had blown over the island making it cloudy.
Regal Beach 221 This condo complex is lovely with plush foliage, 2 pools, and the location is beachfront. The beach in this area has had major erosion over time. There is space for 2 rows of chairs and umbrellas, which are always available and comfortable. The pool chairs are always available as well. The complex is very quiet. If facing the complex from the beach room 221 is on the right side. We did hear some truck traffic and beeping at the Marriott but nothing to complain about. Pros -Very clean -Well equipped kitchen -Starter paper products -2 large bedrooms, 1 with a king, the other 2 singles -Comfortable King bed-Washer dryer -Large screened in porch with new patio set -Marriott next door. We did dine there, visited the outdoor bar, used Red Sail for paddle board and kayak rentals, snorkeled on the man made reef located off the Marriott beach. -Beautiful beach, clear blue water and good snorkeling. Room for improvement but definitely not a deal breaker- -Couch & loveseat a little tired, could use to be updated. -The drier did not work well. Needed 2 full cycles to dry a load of towels. -Could use more beach towels. 1 per person was provided and they needed cleaning or drying every day. -I did not sleep on the single beds but my adult children did and said the mattresses were in need of updating. The complex was priced right, clean, convenient and addressed all our needs. I would stay again and recommend it. Although I would look at the other property management company. I believe there are 2 companies that manage different rental units at this complex. We rented this through Cayman Villas. They seemed a bit inflexible and standoffish when approached. Cayman is a beautiful island with some of the best beaches and snorkeling in the Caribbean. There is a diverse population. Safe to travel around, although left side driving did take some time getting used to and a few funny moments. This is an island to add to your must see list.…
Great location. Nicely appointed unit (512) with a walk out patio to spa and pool. Terrific sunset views. Restaurants, bars, groceries and shops within walking distance. Kristina, George, Jelly and Ronnie treat you like family.
Well where do I start. Set up a meet time for the room. The manager wasn't there. The info given isn't clear. Called the manager to meet us and they drove down. Said "I'm in the room". Well there are no signs in the courtyard with building numbers. Ended up on the other side of the complex the repose was why are you there? Well, simply meet us out front and walk us to our room. Simple solution! We have never stayed here nor will we again. Anyway, got in the room. They are ok. The view isn't bad. Just there service level is. The straw that broke the camels back was the raw sewage that I had to mop up from the plumbing backing up because the the condo on the bottom floor. Walked into a flooded bathroom. I can provide photos of their texts and the service through this whole thing. Just don't have time to spend more time on this. The hostilly and attitude when questioned from a person that is in a customer service role is crazy... I'm sure what will be said We sorry and we did everything we could to help yada yada. They didn't and don't believe it! Again I have the documentation.…
